Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

[Kaida]

"You do realize that I already know that right Cassi" Kaida said as she joined Cassi in the search for a map.

[Saber Knight]

Forget easy, I'm skipping straight to Intermediate! Mickey thought as she walked down the hallway labled "Intermediate Course".

[Astral Omega]

“Or course you already know that… you read my mind… you always do” She glared at her suspiciously. “You always do…”

[Kaida]

"But it's just so readable," Kaida replied smiling at Cassi, oblivious of the glare she was receiving.

[Josiah]

KAIDA & CASSI

Kaida and Cassi looked around the area and asked several park employees about maps. Unfortunately, as Marley and Mickey had already found out, due to some manufacturing problems they were completely out of the usual giant guidebook maps. However, they were given a map like the one Mickey and Marley had gotten (a fancier but not much more detailed version of the map in the first post of this thread) and told that they could probably find detailed maps of the various sections somewhere in each section.


MICKEY

Mickey headed down the hall, waited in a short line, and then stepped through a door and promptly sank to the middle of her chest in slime. There was a fence of sorts about three feet to both sides of her. Up ahead she could see trees, vines, rocks, and other things it appeared that she'd have to climb on, crawl under, swing on, and the like to get through. On the other side of the fence to her right, she could see a purple three eyed alien facing a similiar course, most likely her racing opponent.

"READY..." a loud voice called out. "3...2...1...GO!!!"

((In order to save time, I'm going to RP your obstacle course run (it'd take a lot of posts if we had to trade posts at each obstacle) so just let me know if there's any skills, strategies, or whatnot that you'd like to use.))

[Saber Knight]

((Um...no strageties, really. Just charge it head on!))

Quivering with excitement, Mickey dashed forward as fast as she could as soon as the word "GO" was heard.

[Astral Omega]

“YAY! A MAP!” Cassi promptly sat on the ground, spreading the map over her lap. “So, I suppose we’re about here,” she pointed to the approximate place she thought they were in the galactic promenade. “So where do you think looks promising?”

Suddenly she jumped up. “Oo! I wonder if Laser Land is anything like the Infinity Attraction at the Gold Coast!” she began to shake and giggle with excitement. “I somehow don’t doubt that they’ll even play some Pink Floyd- They’re weird enough. And I Like Pink Floyd!” She made a face that she thought looked a lot like an anime smile, with her eyes closed and mouth open… In reality she failed completely.

[Kaida]

"We should go to Infinity again when we get back." Kaida said looking at the map. "You know maybe we should have found these maps first, then split up, but I think Laser Land looks very promising" She continued standing next to Cassi, whom appeared to be standing with her eyes closed and mouth open, which looked very strange.
Kaida poked Cassi, it was just to tempting. "Cassi, Laser Land."

[Astral Omega]

“Whoo! Lets GO!” She grabbed Kaida and dragged her in the approximate direction that they were intending to go.

[Josiah]

*pokes everyone except Saber, Astral, and Kaida*

KAIDA & CASSI

Kaida and Cassi followed the main road of the Galactic Promenade to the other end and into The Giant Cool Looking Sphere Plaza where they saw The Giant Cool Looking Black Sphere, the people getting beamed into it, the grass, the paths leading through the plaza, and the archways spaced around the edge of the plaza that lead to the other areas. It really hadn't changed since the last time it was described. According to their map, Laser Land should be the second archway to the right, though that was kind of far off so they weren't able to make out the sign.

MICKEY

Though running in slime was a bit harder than walking, Mickey got off to a good start. She scrambled over some logs, fought her way through a thick tangle of vines, and then found her path blocked by an extremely large rock. She managed to pull herself to the top of it, though the slime make it a rather difficult task, only to find herself on the edge of a small cliff. Taking a deep breath, she jumped down to find that, as she'd hoped, the slime cushioned her fall. Continuing on, she was forced to crawl through a dark tunnel then clumb up a very tall tree. She could see the goal up ahead on a very high ledge but there didn't seem to be any way to get there. Unless... With no other ideas, Mickey grabbed a hanging vine, swung herself towards the goal, and jumped off. She managed a rather precarious landing, and staggered over the goal, rather worn out from the whole thing. Moving past the goal, she found what looked like a slide made of vines and slime. There was an arrow pointing down.

"GOOD JOB!" the voice called. "Please procede to the end to find out the results!"

[Saber Knight]

Panting, Mickey stumbled forward. "How did...did I do?" She gasped. She stumbled a few feet more, and then tripped and fell flat on her face. "Ow....." Mumbled Mickey.

[Kaida]

"Well according to the map Laser Land is This Way!" Kaida said as she took over the dragging by pulling Cassi towards Laser Land.

[Astral Omega]

"YAY! LASER LAND!" She ran towards the entrance.

I'm sure I posted here before... but it musn't have worked... That seems to be happening a bit lately...OH WELL^^

KAIDA & CASSI

The pair made their way through the plaza and soon reached a giant archway with the sign above reading "Laser Land". The archway was filled with a shimmering haze so that they couldn't see what was on the other side, but people were passing through it in both directions.


MICKEY

Mickey slid down the slimey slide and followed a tunnel of sorts which came out in a hut. The alien she had been racing was there too. There was a large screen on the wall showing a replay of their race. As it turned out, Mickey finished slightly ahead of the alien.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" the voice shouted. "A suvineer video game be purchased in the next room! Next time, try the expert course for a chance to win big!"
