Iruka frowned at Marley, sighed heavily and then closed his eyes. He reached for the headband and passed it to him
“You pass the exam Marley, but please remember the correct names for the Jutus you are being taught. I know that Naruto’s Shadow Clone Jutsu is very famous in the village, but it was not the academy standard. You did produce a clone, so you pass, but the correct name is simply ‘Clone Jutsu’. It wouldn’t do to make mistakes like that in the field’

He smiled at Marley warmly “Sorry to be a little hard on you. I’ve put that mistake down to nerves.”

AYAME could be heard sighing in the background and muttering to herself.

Leaning back in the back of the classroom, Poik was half asleep and didn't start to get up until one of the other classmates bumped him. "Watch it- oh. Wud I miss?" Grumbling to get up (a habit that got him the nickname of "old man"), he slowly joined the line, yawned and attempted to strike a conversation to keep him awake. "Clone Jutsu? Not so hard, could be worse, but I guess they save that for later. Why are we locked up in here when it's such a nice day out?"
"Are you going to join us today, Poik?"
"I guess I could," his reply recieved with a roll of eyes as he walked to the front. "Clone Jutsu!" A perfect clone appeared beside him, effortlessly. Waiting a few seconds as the others did, he dispersed the clone with a shrug and awaited judgement.

Kurisutofua looked at his headband. It felt weird holding it. All the time in school had payed off and now he was a Genin and his real training would begin. He now wondered who from his class he'd get grouped with and who their new teacher would be. But it would still be awhile before that happens. Now he will have to go get his picture taken for his licence. He was debaiting if he wanted to have one of his clay figures being held in his hand. He watched as the rest of the class preformed thier clones.

Then he heard Marley shout Shadow Clone while doing his clone. "What a Baka." he said to himself. He knew that Marley couldn't do a real shadow clone. It was an advanced jutsu that Genin their level couldn't do. True Naruto did it when he was in the acadamy but then again Naruto wasn't the average Ninja either, at least that's what the stories he's heard about him say.

Iruka frowned a little at Poik’s lack of enthusiasm.

“His like Shikamaru Nara” he could be heard muttering to himself.

He passed the headband to Poik “You have passed the exam”

A little while later all of the students had either passed or failed.

Iruka stood proudly at the front of the class of new ninja

“Congratulations. For you passing students this marks an end to your training here. This year’s line of teams is going to be a little different as we have an uneven number of ninjas.”

Iruka picked up his papers.” Okay, you are dismissed for one hour while I discuss group assignments with the Hokage. Please either wait here or return in due course. That is all”

Iruka gave a gentle wave to the students and left them to there own devices as he wondered off to meet the Hokage.

Kurisutofua went outside to where his parents were waiting along with other parents of students to see if they had passed. It didn't take long for him to find them and show them his headband. They talked for awhile before he went back in after nearly an hour passed to find out what happened next.

You return into the room to find a few students waiting. You notice AYAME hadn’t gone outside with the rest of you, and she remained seated in her original position were she had been seated before, indicating she had not moved.

She briefly made eye contact with you, but quickly looked away. There is a slight redness to her cheeks.


A few students begin to enter. There time limit reaching an end. Iruka is yet to return.

A little annoyed at the enthusiasm of his parents, Poik walked back into the room, headband in hand. Starting to return to his post watching the inside of his eyelids, he spotted Ayame, who seemed flustered he thought.

"'lo. You're quiet today, something bugging you?" Poik asked, walking around to a spot behind Ayame and sitting.

Marley walked back into the room, anxiously waiting for Iruka to get back. He was wearing his headband of course, because he just couldn't stand not wearing it. He saw Poik and Ayame talking "Hey guys! Wasup?" He said as he walked over there and sat down.

Kurisutofua briefly saw Ayame took at him before turning her head to look at something else. He didn't see the redness in her cheecks cause he also turned his head and looked for a place to sit down. He picked an area where there wern't many other Genin and sat down. He was wondering if he could ever get over his shyness as this could cause problems in this group. Maybe he'll grow out of it. Or he could be this way all his life.

Ayame looked up at Poik. Her face was now just pink insted of beat root red. She smiled and opened her mouth to reply when Marley came over and asked his question.

She turned from Poik to Marley and replyed.
"um....nothing really...ahe..." she then turned red again and looked down.

Two of her fingers began to press agaisnt each other in a nervious manour.

"um...so...so...did your parents arrive to congratulat you?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

As the conversation continued, Iruka returned back into the room and sat down, but he wasn't ready to talk to the class yet and didn't try to get everyone to shut up.

Kurisutofua had another Genin sit next to him. The girl had short white hair

"Man..I hope I get a good team. How about you Kurisutofuna?"

The girl you knew a few times from class, but this is the first time she has spoken to you. You only know her nickname however, you know her as 'Bleach', due to her hair colour.

Slightly disappointed at the turn of events, and not wanting to try to dismiss Marley, Poik leaned back again and returned to guarding his eyelids. "Yeah. They were here. Everyone's exited that we all are Genin now. Would've happened sooner or later to us wouldn't it?" After a short stretching motion, he added, "Well, it could be fun. What do you think, Ayame?"

Ayame glanced up to Poik and nodded, with a slight smile “Yes, it should be very exciting. A cousin of mine if taking on her first class this year. I hope I’m grouped with her”

She seemed a shrink a little at her own last comment.

[PoikSpirit]

Smiling back Poik responded, "That would be nice. I'm just hoping I'm not teamed up with slackers." With a glance at Iruka to check on if he's going to be busy for a little longer, Poik added, "I wonder how they decide who's in which group."

Ayame answers as if she is answering an exam question “The classic alignments are how they decide. Recon teams, advanced troops, classic formations know to work, like the famous Ino-shika-cho. I’ll most likely end up on a recon team…”

Iruka finally spoke up, just as Ayame had closed her mouth.

“Okay everyone, can I have your attention please.”

He smiled “I have the team line up here”

“Team one will be…”

The list went on of students you knew but weren’t particularly friends with until it reached team 5.

“Team five will be Ayame Hyuga, Hikari Yamanaka and Akira Tsurugi”

At the mention of her name, Ayame sat straight up, as stiff as a board “yes sir” she spoke

Bleach also sat a little straighter “Yes sir” she stated. It is now reviled to you her name is Hikari Yamanaka. It was not know to you she was of the Yamanaka clan until this moment.

An average looking boy in the back of the room also stated “Yes sir”. You knew his name, but know nothing about him, as he has been very quiet during the school year, almost like he was keeping his head down.

Ayame was beetroot red “I…I guess I don’t know how my team was put together…my team mates and my skills don’t seam to point towards any kind of standardised format…”

Iruka continued “Your sensei will be Tenten”



He pushed the teams paper work to the side and lifted another sheet

“Team Six. Marley Nezuma, Poik Shira and Kurisutofua Kawamoto. Team leader, Hinata Hyuga”

Ayme could be heard whispering “Neechan…”

Kurisutofua was abit suprised when Bleach sat down next to him and asked him a question. "Um...well..." he was still being his shy self. To his luck Iruka-sensi walked into the classroom and started telling everyone who their new teams were. Kurisutofua only payed half attention to this list until his and Ayame's teams were called out. Bleach who now was known as Hikari Yamanaka. They were an intresting clan, being able to transfer their mind into other bodies for a short time.

Then his group was called out.

“Team Six. Marley Nezuma, Poik Shira and Kurisutofua Kawamoto. Team leader, Hinata Hyuga”


"Great...the Baka and the slacker." he said to himself. This would defently be an intresting team to say the least. But they did get Hinata Hyuga, part of Ayame's clann. He just wondered how good she was.
