Oh, wow. I have terrible reading skills.
I'll work on it...but I make no promises on finishing in time.

As the representative of Atmatopia, I would like to state that the mauling of the judges was in no way done by our athlete Swamphish.

Well. I have absoltely no involvement in the competition... but neither does Feralirupt, and that's what I'm here to talk about. Saber, you get extra credit in IPA Apprentice.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

OK, I have no idea what happened to the other judges (Maybe they got assassinated....) and I PM'd them right after I judged, so...yeah, replacements! I'll ask one or two or three peeps.

NO POST AFTER THIS UNLESS IT'S A JUDGE.

All right people, your lives just got a lot more difficult. Because I'm not quite as easy to impress with sprites as Opal here is. And I have been appointed as a judge! Mwahaha! So, let's get on with it, shall we?

Astral - 7.5 (Looks fine, but it's really just Groudon's head on Dialga's slightly recolored body, isn't it? If you had gone for full Groudon-style coloring or maybe put his tail on, you would've gotten a higher score.)

Kaida - 7.3 (The shading still looks fine even when switching between Charmander and Articuno's very different colors, which is good... but there are some layering issues, in that the tail looks strange in front of the feet like that. Aditionally... the spotted coloring on the wings looked... off when I zoomed in on the sprite. Particularly because of the outline.)

Cheez - Stop trying.

Atma - 8.4 (A pretty difficult mix, and you pulled it off well enough; the only real issue is that the claws weren't editted on very smoothly. It looks like there's a little lump hanging down from his left arm there, and the highlighting on the right arm makes it look like his elbow's in front of his claw at first glance... but the stripes and the spikes on his head look great.)

Josiah - 8.7 (Delibird's bag looks completely natural there; its face, however, does not. Particularly because of the thick black outlining on the side closest to the light source, which is coming towards its mouth at an awkward angle anyway... But aside from that it seems to be flawless.)

Shauni - 7.0 (Ug, .gif. The ears and arms were put on smoothly... except that everything else is a different, brighter shade of blue. Also, the shading in the tail is... very wrong, and the outline seems to have disappeared at a few points. It looked great until you posted the enlarged version...)

Saber - No go, but extra credit in IPA Apprentice. Seriously. Part of the shading seems to have been removed, but... it still ended up being amazing somehow.

Astral - 15.6

Kaida - 15.2

Cheez - Disqualified

Saber - Disqualified

So here I hand out our first medals!

Yeah, for some reason I messed up the shading. Not quite sure how it happened.
I realized that after I posted that, then was too lazy to fix it.
Here's the version with correct shading:
