The new Nintendo Power features a new Sonic game. With a sword. That isn't right. Sonic runs. Sonic Unleashed is on the right track, and then they potentially ruin the series by giving him a sword.
Game Developers should stick with what's working. Change it gradually between games, introducing new mechanics, and not making too many games in a small period of time. Waiting for a game that's been worked on for a long time is better than getting it soon and having a glitchy game. Having a game in a different genre is fine, but it shouldn't be done for half of the games in a series. Mario Sports and Mario Party are technically their own serieses. (...spell check doesn't have a correction...)

Dude....You can't say sonic doesn't look awesome though. I think it'd be great to give sonic a sword if it looked like that. I personally couldn't stand those 2D speed things, and loved Sonic Heroes.

Sonic was best on the Genesis and Saturn. The 3D Sonics have had their high points (and a heck of a lot of low points) but none of them beat the old 2D Sonics. And, while I hope unleashed turns out well, that fact that Sonic has a set of melee attacks (punches and stuff) doesn't bode well in my opinion.
That issues cause a lot of Kingdom Hearts sites to go into a frenzy XD

Afterwords most Kingdom Hearts website predicted Kingdom Hearts III for the Wii. I loled.
As for the New Generation of Sonic games go, I think there alright. If I'm having fun while playing them then they're good. And for the record I can't say I haven't had fun while playing a Sonic game yet.

...What? As if giving Shadow, The Ultimate Life Form and quite possibly the fastest thing on earth, a gun and a motorcycle wasn't bad enough... now they've turned poor Sonic into some type of fantasy hero? Are they really that desperate for ideas? Sonic needs no sword! Then again, in my mind the Sonic series died a long time ago... when 4kids started dubbing the voices.
Whatever happened to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle? That was like... the greatest game ever except for the horrible camera and Tail's mech.
And as nice as it would be for KHII to have a Wii adaptation... it's a pretty stupid conclusion to arrive at XD. I'm pretty sure there was talk of a KH game for the DS a while ago; if it's about Kingdom Hearts, it would be that.

Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate." Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
Shadow the Hedgehog wasn't too bad of a game, you only have to use the a gun about twice in the game and that is to advance a platform forward other wise I never used the weapons or vechiles. As for Sonic having a sword...its not any different from Sonic and the Secret Rings then, nor the upcoming Dark Brotherhood. And I wouldn't say Sonic Team is running out of ideas, they're just trying something different unlike most video game company that just rehash the same thing.
And as nice as it would be for KHII to have a Wii adaptation...

Ok, so who here like Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut. That was a fun game, and if you didn't like that one, the you couldn't really like any of the sonic games where you can move in 5 directions.

I loved Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Favorite Sonic game ever.
Probably half of that was the Chao though. I played with meh Chao for hours on end.
