shauni was a little winded from her experence, Jeff came over yo her
"You ok?"
"Yea, I'm fine, but I think we should go to the gym, we kinda now know whos what"
"I guess your right, well as Co-founder, ill let you decided who is what rank"
"Thanks" replyed shauni sarcasticaly "You will 'let me'"
"Ok then, since its a fire gym, I should be rank 4 because I have a fire and bug type, but appart from that, YOU can make the choice"
"hay!"
Shauni nuged him "I'm not gunna be the one everyone hates because they wernt allowed to battle in a gym match!"

((FYI, the Next gym is a grass gym, and the leader is called Flora, her pokemon is a Bayleef, the team name is Team Flowerfall, the town is called Owen Port))

"Well, I'm going in. Wish I had tought Psy Flash. Would be abit easyer. O well." Neo digs out a flashlight. "Um, not sure if I should turn it on. Might scare them away."

Neo walks in abit without light to see if he can see without it.

Jeff started to look uncomfortable
"Well.....I want to be rank 1, so I guess all I need to pick is rank 2 and 3...lets see, theres mute, Kit and Mnium, so I guess i'll pick..."

there was a long silence as Jeff rubed his head
"Today would be nice 'fearless leader' "
"please dont make me chose...."
"Fine, I will, Mute is rank 2 and Kit an be rank 3"
"What about Minum? Hes been a member longer than Kit"
Shauni frowned at him "I just picked them using Eni meni minei mo, dont controdict me know"
"Fine, that will be our battle ranks"
Jeff tured to the others
"Hay guys! Stop"
"But we were just about to battle"
"Yea..."
"that can wait, Jeff and I have decided the ranks, gather round"
The trainers gathered around

"Team Temple ranks so far
Rank 1: Jeff
Rank two: Mute
Rank 3: Kit
Rank 4: Shauni"

"hay, what about me?"
"Sorry, we picked the last two names at random, maybe next time"
"Ok, on to Team Fire at the Clancy Gym! Lets get this party started!"

*Meanwhile, inside the cave...*

"We probably shouldn't go too deep since we don't know flash."

"True. I'm gonna check on this passage to the right."

"I'll go left then. Let's meet back at the entrance in ten minutes."

*Josiah didn't have to walk far before he tripped over a large rock. At least he thought it was a rock...* "Sandshrew!" *The angry pok?mon began slashing at Josiah's legs.*

"Ouch! Jolteon go! Quick attack!" *Sandslash took the hit then countered with scratch.* "Now, sand attack!" *Sandshrew tried a poison sting but fortunately missed.* "Another quick attack! Ok, pok?ball go!!!" *Josiah watch aniously as the ball rolled back and forth before finally growing still.* "Whew! I did it!"

Neo head down the the path he had chosen, the light was getting abit dimmer as he went. He paused now and then to listen for possible movement. Then he felt something. Then saw 2 glowing eyes ahead of him.

"Wh wh who are you?"

Neo could hear the voice say "Sableye"

"O great. One of them. Psy can't do anything to it."

Then the pokemon attacked Neo, from the other way!

Neo ran further into the cave, the Sableye following him.

"Great, just great. I'm getting lost here."

Then from infrount of him something dark went flying past him into the Sableye. It struck it and it went down.

Neo tried to look. Then he heard a noise. "Haunter."

"Great, 2 pokemon. Well, might as well get the Sableye." Neo tossed a ball at it and it was caught. "Now what to do with the Haunter." Neo turned around and it was gone. "Well, so much for that."

But as Neo returned around to head for the intrence, the same Haunter was infroud of him.

After heading back to the pokemon center, they headed for the gym
"I cant wait!"
"At least you get to battle"
"Hush, were hear"
The team entered the gym, there was lava all over the floor (see last discription)

"Who are you" asked Piro
"We are team Templer, here to challenge team Fire"
"Who is your rank 4?"
shauni steped forward and gluped "I am"
"Then you will face me"
A trainer stepped forward, he was huge
Shauni began to shake
"eepp"

The trainer who had stepped forward was not one that Team Dragoon had faced
"My name is Main, and I am the new rank 4 trainer, the last one was noked of the Rank by his poor performace earlyer today, so, you face me"
"I understand, Two pokemon each in a classic battle mode"
Main noded
"Then let use begin! Go Magby!"
"Go Tinder!"
Both the fire pokemon emerged from there balls
"Ok Tinder! Dont let me down! Theres a lot riding on this! Star with quick attack!"
"Magby! Use takcle!"
"now you other trainers, begin your rank battles!". The team fire trainers steped forward, as did the selected rank trainers of team Templer
"I hope shauni does ok" though Jeff to himself...
Piro stped forward
"We fight last, now, begin Ranks 3 and 2"

"Help!!!" *Neo's cry set Josiah, Jessie, and Silver running to the mouth of the cave.*

"What's the chasing him?"

"A Haunter!"

"We need to help him! Jolteon, Thunderbolt!"

Neo sent out Psy to battle aginst the Haunter. He knew that the Haunter had an advantage over him and he had one over it.

"Psy, use Confusion!" Psy struck it with a Confusion attack but it didn't seem to affect it much. Then it used Shadowball before Neo could react. It hit Psy almost koing it.

"This isn't good." He decided that he had no other choice.

"Help!!!" , cried Neo.

Tinder quickly defected the magby, it was more powerful than Shauni had though"
"Ah, thats was only a warm up! Combusiken!"
The fighter bird appred from the ball, Tinder and Shauni gulped in unison
"...eeepp..."
One double kick and Tinder was out for the count
Shauni retured the exausted pokemon
"ALright...its risky, but its my only option....go Blade!"
The scyther appred from the ball in a very sylish manner

"Haha! your bug stands no chance against my fire! Comustiken use Flamethrower!"
"Scyther! Double team!!"
The flamethrower attacked missed
"Blade! Wing attack!"
"What???"
The atack struck the combustiken and knowed it out
"Ha! Now whos the bug!"
Blade began to victory dance, making shauni turn Crimson
"On man....he dances like my dad"
Shauni looke over to other others
"Come on guys, just three more victorys and we have done it..."

*The Thunderbolt hit Haunter, knocking it down* "You ok?"

"Yeah, but we better get out of here..." *Haunter got up again, but Starmie used Water Gun to knock it down*

"Why? You scared of ghosts or something?"

"Not really, but you might want to look behind you..."

*Silver, Josiah and Jessie turn around to see a huge group of Ghastly, Shuppet, Duskull and Misdreavus right behind them*
