Basic Rules:
1. Players will be matched up randomly by me and posted here when ready.
2. After being matched, players will have one week to talk to each other, set up a time, and have their match. If one player fails to respond within the time period he will forfeit. If both players fail to contact each other the winner will be chosen at random.
3. Matches can be held using Diamond/Pearl or Battle Revolution, the choice is up to the players.
4. This is a single loss elimination tournament.
5. All battles will be in the Single Battle Level 100 format with teams of 6 pokémon and can be done as either one battle or the best two out of three battles.
6. In the event of a tie the winner will be determined by an additional battle.
Pokémon Team Rules:
1. Hacked pokémon of any kind are not allowed.
2. One legendary pokémon is allowed per team although you don't have to have one if you don't want to.
3. You can not use two of the same type of pokémon on your team (ie. you can't have two Starmies).
4. Deoxys is banned.
5. Each pokémon can have a hold item of your choice. However, Soul Dew is banned.
How to Enter:
1. Post here and say you're entering.
2. Send me a PM that lists all six pokémon on your team along with their attacks and hold items.
3. Once you have submitted your team list you ARE NOT allowed to change it, those are the pokémon, attacks, and hold items you have to use in the tournament.
4. Team lists will be keep secret until right before the beginning of the tournament and then partially posted in this thread. This is to prevent contestants from altering their teams mid tournament to defeat a specific opponent (if you see your opponent using something that is not on their list or using hacked pokémon please let me know ASAP).
