TROY & KAIDA

A large energy field was projected from the disc, enclosing a circular area around five feet in diameter with Troy at its center. The energy guage on the disc slowly began to go down.

"Ooo cool, but what is it, some kind of shield?" Kaida said. "Either way there seems to be nothing else here so we should go check floor umm, which one should we check now, we'e done 3, 4, and 5."

TROY

The energy field felt fairly solid. It certainly seemed like it might be a shield.

"Well I supposed theres really only one way we could test it." Kaida said, although since she was standing next to Troy when the energy feild activated, it made testing to see if it was a shield fairly difficult. So she attempted walking out of the shield to test it further.

TROY & KAIDA

Kaida was unable to pass through the barrier, but Troy noticed that the energy guage dropped faster while she tried. It was now down to about 50%.

"Hm... We'd better save the energy that's left on this for the battle portion of the show...." Troy commented as he pushed the button again.

"Well that didn't work but I suppose if i can't get out that means things can't get in." Kaida said. "But we should probably move onto to um... we've been going down floors haven't we. Direction change! We'll go up to floor 6!" Kaida said pointing up.

TROY & KAIDA

The energy field vanished when Troy pushed the button again and the energy guage on the device began to refill very very slowly.

Troy and Kaida made it to floor six without incident. Almost as soon as they got off the escalator, a fairy flew over to them.

"Hi, Gary sent you, right? Do you know how much longer it'll take him to bring the rest of your team up here?"

Once Gary and Marley got past all the people and made it safely into an elevator, Gary pressed a button to make the elevator go to the 5th floor. While he was waiting, he told the fairies that he found Marley and found out that they meet two humans.

"No, we we're searching foloors randomly and tried this one next. And Hi I'm Kaida" Kaida said smiling. "And I'm not sure how long it will take him, we have this habbit of splitting up and getting ourselves lost. Then finding eachother again."

GARY & MARLEY

Gary and Marley made it to the 5th floor. Off in the distance, they could see a dwarf who appeared to be spying on someone in the beach toy section.

KAIDA & TROY

The fairy quickly filled Kaida in on the current situation. Namely, the clues that they and Gary had found, their deal with Gary, and their fear that the dwarves would be attacking en mass in the very near future. Once he finished he waited to hear their reaction.

"No problem. If we get attacked by dwarves, I can just distract them with the alarm clock of extreme annoyance so that we can get away. For now, we probably ought to get to aisle 278 on this floor."

"Ok marley, I'm going to use my powers to make him tell me who he is spying on. If he resists, then use tickle tourture." Not waiting to hear his response, Gary walked up to the dwarf and said, "Hey there! I was just passing by and I saw you spying on something. Will you please tell me who or what you're spying on?"

"I'm not sure if it helps, but it probably will, But Troy and I found this device that emits an energy field. I think its some kind of shild, but i'm not sure. Although maybe you know what it is." Kaida siad showing fairy. "Oh and I saw some of those dwarfs, I managed to get this off them which is how I knew to look in aisle 278, although it didn't specify whichh floor. I don't think they had a chance to find out what the clue was because they were fighting with some woman over the toy". She continued still holding onto the Hostly plush toy which she had unconsiously descided to keep.
