The Jump part doesn't make a ton of sense if you're a native English speaker but that's just how English is used in Japan. Shonen manga is manga targeted at young boys (although exactly how young shonen means is up for debate).

I think its kinda like the Latin words 'etiam' and 'quoque.' Both mean 'also' but you use them in different situations. Right?

I think they're for different types of squid but I'm not really an expert on different types of squid, seeing as I don't eat it, so I can't really give a clearer definition. Or can I? Actually, now that I think about it... Judging by the contest I see the words used in, I'm gonna say that...
geso: squid (squid and only squid)
ika: general term for squid and similiar sea creatures

ten: a suffix meaning shop (very similiar in meanng to ya but ya can be used when refering to both the store and the store owner, ten can not)
