Shauni began first, starnge that see was so confident
Jeff orded Hitmonchan to start fire a fire Punch on scyther, but it dodged the attack with ease
"Hay! Nice move!"
Blade came back round with a slash attack and noked Hitmonchan bac, tinder followed up with a peck and that was the end of hitmonchan
"No way! How did you...how...what??"
Shauni cheered "Ok guys! Great, but now for the other one! Blade, double team! Tinder, Quick attack!"

The other pokemon was quickly noked back with a slash and ember
"Done liek dinner"
"what? i actualy won! Wo ho!"
"That was one hell of a strategy shauni"
Shauni giggled cheerfully, it was the first time she'd actually won a battle
Tinder and Blade victory danced infront of her
"That felt great!"
"I think where ready for the gym now"
"On to Team Fire?"
Jeff nodded
"But first...back to the pokemon center..again"

"Ok, it looks like there's a platform over there. Let's use surf to cool the lava then run to that platform before it cools."

"Ready...Now!"

*The group runs over to the platform.*

"Wow, that was too close..."

"Hi! We're random trainers number one and two! Let's battle!"

"Oh great."

"We'll fight you and you." *They point to Josiah and Neo then release a vuplix and a growlith.*

"Well, let's do it then!"

"Go Jolteon!"

"Go Psy!"

*Both in unison*"Flamethrower!"

"Thunderbolt!"

"Teleport!" *Vulpix aimed at Jolteon and Growlithe aimed at Psy, but both struck the opposite target*

"Uh... Use Thunderbolt again!"

"Mega Punch!"

*Both in unison again* "Quick Attack!" *Both of Team Dragoon's attacks were avoided and their Pokemon hit again*

"This isn't working..."

"We're gonna have to work as a Team! I've got an idea... have Psy use Mega Punch. Jolteon, Thunder Wave!" *Vulpix and Growlithe were paralyzed*

"Right! Psy, Mega Punch!" *Growlithe and Vulpix were fully paralyzed so Psy got to attack both of them in one turn*

Mute followed behind the group of trainers. When they reached the Pokemon Center he asked,
"Uh... guys? Do you think I could go out and catch another Pokemon? I mean, if we're going to a gym I would like to have a backup or something..."

"Yes! Vulpix is looking pretty weak, let's focus our attacks on it! Thunderbolt!"

"Mega Punch!"

*Vulpix was fully paralyzed again and was KO'd. Another couple hits did in growlith as well.*

"We lost... But you'll still never make it to Team Fire!"

"Get ready to run for that next platform guys. Surf and now!"

*The group reaches the next platform.*

"Hi! We're random trainers 3 and 4! We'll battle you and you!" *They point to Silver and Jessie.*

"Gee, that was predictable."

"Oh well, Go Pidgey!"

"Go Starmie!"

"Go Slugma!"

"Go Numel!"

"This shouldn't be hard... Pidgey, Gust!"

"Surf Starmie!"

"Harden!"

"Dig!"*Pidgey sent a gust of wind at Numel but it was already underground. Starmie sent a large wave at both Pokemon, but Numel was buried under the surface and Slugma was so hard it did nothing. Numel was about to resurface and hit Starmie.*

"Pidgey, try to save Starme!" *Pidgey flew down and tried to lift Starmie off the ground, and though it was too heavy for the little bird, it did get out of the way in time to not be hit...*

"It looks like these guys are the opposite of the other ones..."

"Yeah, they're not paying any attention to the other's Pokemon at all."

"Not exactly what I was expecting after the last team that even talked in unison, but I think we've got 'em figured out at least..."

"Right, I've got Slugma!"

"Starmie, Water Gun Numel!"

"Quick Attack Slugma, Pidgey!" *This time both attacks connected, leaving Numel about to faint since the attack was 4x effective and Slugma with around half of its health because of Pidgey's Critical hit*

"Uh... Ember?"

"Try Harden again, maybe..." *But by this time it was too late. Starmie finished Slugma with Water Gun and Pidgey delivered the finishing blow to Numel with Quick Attack*

"I think we're almost to the end."

"There's another platform let's run for it...Now!" 

*After another surf and another mad dash across the lava the team found themselves standing on the largest platform yet.*

*Strangely enough, it appeared to be...* "Empty? Shouldn't there be someone here?"

*Suddenly the platform began to shake as what looked like a whirlpool appeared the lava...*
