*Jeff walks off in Shauni's direction. He notices the trouble she's; but decides to lay low unless she needs help.*

((A pidgy beating a starmie? Yeah right, assuming they're the same level and even if starmie didn't know an ice move pidgy's stats would be way too low to win.))

*Meanwhile Team Dragoon went back to the pok?mon center and healed their pok?mon.*

The rest of team Templer had tured up with Jeff, under his instruction they stood ready, but let shauni fight her own battle

"Flamethrower!" she yelled, Tinders attack hit a goon, but he was aiming for the scyther
"erm...." she stuttered nervusly "do that again!"
Tinder, again aimed for scyther, but its flamethrower hit another goon

"Wow! This kid is nuts! Lets get out of here!"
"Scyther! Return!"
shauni quickly dived at the pokemon, noking it away from the beam
"No! I wont let you take this pokemon to use for crime! Tinder! Use ember on that creep!"

The guy thew the ball to the ground
"Dont hurt me! Fine, im outa here!"
shauni ran towards the ball and suoped it up, watching the goon disapere into the darkness of the alley
She looked at the ball, it was black with the letter T on the front
"Stange..."
The scyther walked over to her, she staired at it for a moment, unsure of what it was going to do, it then suddenly smiled happly and huged her
"ok...I guess I could use a bug pokemon, whats your nick name?"
It pulled away and suck its head
"Ya dont have one? How about...erm.Blade?"
It was so happy it tackle huged her
"Ok....Blade it is...now...please...get of"
Blade stood up and looked at its new trainer with warm, fuzzy eye

"hay! That was amazing!"
The other trainers of team Temple came over to her, she now tured red
"I guess I can do this after all..."
"Still need to work on that aim though ^_^ "

"Don't worry about us. We'll be just fine. You should be worried about yourself. Once I catch a few more pokemon, I'm going to wipe the floor with you."

"Not likely! I'm the one who will be beating you."

"Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see won't we?"

Shauni introduced Balde to the oters and told them what happned, they didnt seem to worried, but shauni could not help wonder about what Team had just attacked her.....

No one ever said we had to go by the games. I mean, if you've ever watched the show you've seen Pikachu beat Pokemon that would easily OHKO it on any game! Except Yellow Version Maybe... the point is, in roleplays you wanna go by strategy over stats.))

After veryone had been introduced to shaunis new pokemon Jeff step forward again in a battle posture
"Battle? Again?"
he noded "Yep, lets try that baby out"
She grinned, she had found some confidence in her ablityes batteling on her own "How about 2 on 2!"
Jeff looked at her with a concerned look in his eyes "But shauni I dont have...."
Shauni interupted "Go tinder and blade!"
Torchic and Scyther leaped into action before he could finish
Jeff sweat dropped "I dont HAVE two pokemon"
shauni tured her head and smiled "I know, i was challenging you to a team abttle, my two pokemon vrs hitmonchan and someone else pokemon in the team"
Jeff grined and tured to the others, "Ok! Who was to join me in a team battle?"

"Welcome trainers!" *A man walked up to them.* "Team fire is at the back of the gym but before you can battle them you must find a safe route over the lake of lava and defeat any junior trainers that show up along the way. Have fun!"

"A lake of lava..." *The group stared at the giant lava pool stretching out across the gym.*

"Why is that even there?"

"I don't know but it has got to be breaking some building safety codes..."

"I will"
Shauni noded "Ok, I guess I me vs you guys, after this I suggest we head for the gym, at this rate we will be here foever"

"Let's find out!" *Throws a rock (Heh, I have a strange obsession with the rock test ^_^ ) in the lava and watches it melt* "Doesn't look fake to me..."

"Do you think maybe Starmie's Water Gun could harden the lava?"

"Only one way to find out, Water Gun Starmie!" *Starmie's water gun created a small patch of rock over the lava* "It worked!" *After a few seconds, the rock slid down into the lava and melted*

(( Thanks Jeff! I still don't have the font colors thing down. I Roleplay on Neopets.com a little (Yes....I know, it's a kids place, but they have a good RPing board :P) But not alot. I'll join as soon as I skim over all your old posts, and get the setting and stuff down! ))
