Definately evolve that Shellos. Other than that, making a well balanced team just takes a lot of planning. I spent a long time picking out which pokémon to use and which moves and hold items to give them so that they'd all be able to fight against the largest possible range of opponents and together I've got at least one pokémon (if not a couple) for just about every situation. I will admit though that my team was designed with single battles in mind, not double battles, so it could probably stand some improvement in that area.
Acutally, I think I just might put that in my team for good. its a water/ground type, although it is weak against grass attacks. on the other hand, it could give a devastating blow to electric, rock, fire, ground, and possibly some other types.
