Just thought I'd throw this in. Most of the major holidays in the US are the same in Canada (Christmas, Easter, St. Patty's day, etc.), except that we have Thanksgiving in October. We also have the St-Jean Baptiste! I miss the times I went to see bonfires that day though...in any case the St-Jean is pretty much the national holiday of Québec, kinda like your 4th of July.
