Nikka glanced up as Alex go up, but closed her eyes when he undressed. She stared at the cealing for a while, before Alex's coughing came back. What could she do to help.. make him breathe the stuff? That would be too difficult..

Alex moved onto his stomach, but with that he started to breath very heavily, and his lungs were not getting enough air. His coughing was getting louder as a few minutes passed. Still alseep, Alex felt like weights were ontop of him. He spit out some blood, but the gentle movement back onto his back felt the pressure relased.

(Alex been sleeping for 4 days straight now. No blood, weak, tired.)

Nikka winced at Alex's fit of coughing. She bit her lip, and stood up. When he stopped, she leaned over and whispered, "I'll be right back..." before kissing his neck. Nikka stood up, and pranced out of the room, still in his sister's dress. She hoped she hadn't gotten too much blood on it, and made her way into the kitchen. She tried to ignore the dark figure hanging in the corner of the room, but kept glancing at it uncertainly. She bit the inside of her cheek, and opened one of the cabinints, taking out a sack of blood. Nikka turned around to heat it up, and came face to face with Thomas. She jumped, and pinned herself agaist the counter, before breathing normally. "Sorry about that.." Thomas said, smirking. Nikka stuck her tounge out, and returned to what she had been doing. "What're you doing here?" she asked, setting the microwave. "I got tired, I've been wandering," he replied, glancing at the cealing. Nikka shrugged. "So where's Alex?" Thomas asked, in a tone Nikka didn't understand. She ignored the tone and replied, "He's... sick." Thomas rose an eyebrow. Again, Nikka jumped when the timer went off. "Well, I'll be going now.." she said slowly, taking the bag in her hands. Thomas put a firm hand on her shoulder. "Wait.. I need to talk to you.." he mumbled. Nikka tilted her head slightly. "Nikka.. I love you.." Thomas muttered, "And I don't care if your in love with someone else.. I'll wait.." Nikka blinked. "I should be going.." she muttered, trying to get out. Thomas grabbed her wrist and made her whirl around. He stared at her for a moment, and pulled her into a kiss. She was outraged, of course, and dug her nails into his neck, making him let go of her. "Stay away from me.." she hissed angrilly, before storming out of the room.

Lifting an eye, Alex saw that Nikka was gone. Without another glance, he pulled himself out of the blankets. His side was hurting, and he was as thirsty as ever. Alex started to get up when he had to lay back down. Resting his head on the pillow again, he fell asleep.

Nikka half sprinted up the stairs, still angry. She composed herself slightly before entering Alex's room. He was asleep again, she could tell. Nikka set the bag on the nightstand quietly, and sighed. What was she supposed to do? Avoid Thomas for the rest of her life now? She mumbled words under her breath crossly.

Alex opened up his eyes and saw that it was a little past noon. Moving his head, his mouth opened to the smell of blood. How long has it been? He tried to move his arms, but they just flopped back into the bed. His legs seemed like they were glued to the bed too. Alex tried, but all he could do was move his head. With great strength, Alex took all he could and sit up in the bed. He noticed Nikka was watching him the whole time.

Nikka glanced up as Alex began to move. She wasn't sure if he was just having another coughing fit, or if he really was going to get up this time. "Alex?" she murmered quietly, as he sat up.

Alex stared at Nikka for a short time and then tried to speak. Nothing came, but a sound from his mouth and a cough that took a few minutes to go away.

Nikka smiled slightly at him, and touched the back of his hand. "Shhh.." she murmured, trying to be comforting. She picked up the large bag she'd gotten from the kitchen, and emptied it into a glass she found nearby. "Drink this.." she said quietly, holding out the blood.

The cup was cold and Alex drew in a few breaths and put it to his lips. The blood was still cold and he made a face for not caring for it, but he drinked the whole thing fast. He was still not able to talk when he gave the cup back to Nikka.

Nikka took it, and set it on the nightstand near the head of the bed. She watched Alex closely, biting her lip slightly. She couldn't tell what was wrong, but she hoped it wasn't serious.

Alex tried again to say something but nothing came. He wished he could say he is in pain, but instead he points to his ribs around his lungs.

Nikka picked up the bottle of liquid again, and realized it was almost gone. She pursed her lips, and sighed slightly, unsure how to get the stuff into Alex's lungs.

He moved very slowly to the edge of the bed and tried to get out. His right hand on the table, he started to cry when he felt too much pain in his stomach. Weaker then ever, his mind unclear, felt that things will be different for a while now. He didn't want this to happen.

Nikka dug her nails into her forearm. She'd never felt so helpless. She didn't know what was wrong with Alex, nor how to help him. She knew he was in pain, but she didn't know a cure. Nikka bit the inside of her cheek to keep the tears at bay.
