Well... allrighty. It's been awhile; I think I'll try throwing some more stuff in here. My old topic is long closed, so... new one!

Those are cool! What program do you use by the way? And yes, do ROM fan art. I'm pretty sure Shauni needs some new blood :P

Photoshop's my weapon o' choice. Sometimes I draw the lineart and scan it in, but more often than not I'll use my drawing tablet and just sketch it right out on the computer. Fancy little thing, that tablet pen.

I love my tablet ^^

So like, how do you make your pen strokes smoother? I hardly know anything either than sketching/shading/bad anatomy....

Yeah, that's a bit tricky. Other than just having a steady hand (which I don't), I find that making my canvas really big, then zooming way in and just drawing carefully is the best bet. I'll go around with the eraser tool afterwards and clean it up a bit. Ya know, smooth out the rough edges and stuff.

It also helps a lot to draw a little stick figure skeleton-thing on a layer below, if you're using photoshop. Once you know the pose you're going for, it's easier to fill the rest in.

You think you've seen my stuff before, eh Simeon? Well, it's a possibility, I guess... the internet's a big place. This isn't the only place I've shown a few pics, so you might have managed to spot me somewhere else. DeviantArt, or a few other forums or something.

hey, good stuff!

i need to get a tablet as soon as I can, my art brakes up when I scan it and I can't colour images that are a straight scan for toffie

your right about the pic size thoug. i draw my art big with a thick pen then voom out, it makes the line art look smoother
