Yosh! It's Wednesday again! And since everyone slacked off last week and didn't read Josiah's comic, you've got to read mine or you'll be booted from the club! So, I give you... Crowfeathers.
That said, I'm going to give you a word of warning here. There's some... graphic material present in Crowfethers. Demons of all kinds, the occasional cuss-type word... a rape... but it's no worse than Dominic Deegan so I figure I can get away with it. I started reading this comic pretty recently, and it managed to get me completely addicted...
Plot: It's basically... Chase Corbeau giving us his life story. Which would be boring if Chase weren't a half-demon living in the old west with the Cowboys, Indians, Outlaws, and... school teachers. They were all over the place in the west, apparently. Aheh... well, we've got more than our fair share of demons, zombies, and ghosts too - that certainly mixes it up a bit.
Art: It's manga. Nice, Black and white (this time, left-to-right) manga. And it's darn good, too.
Things to know: Aside from the warning I gave you already... well, the archive system is really obnoxious; you can't link to specific pages. So I'll have to give you the chapter and page numbers for the...
Favorite Strips: Chapter 7, Page 14 (Sock Puppets FTW!) Chapter 8, Page 15 (I can't immagine why anyone wouldn't like a homicidal cat boy...) and Chapter 19, Page 6 (Not the hat! Anything but the hat!)
The pirates and ninjas get all the love - it's about time the Cowboys got some representation, right?

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Well, I've just started reading this webcomic and I've already found something pretty weird. The character at the beginning of Chapter 1 has a pretty big resemblance to the main character in the manga "O-Parts Hunter" (In case you're thrown off by the names, this manga's original name is dramatically different than the one that Viz gave it when it got translated), named Jio who has a powerful demon inside of him.
...Anyways, I'll post my opinion on the comic once I've actually read more than 5 pages!

It looked pretty harmless when he put it in his pocket... and they said something about taking it back to its master. I guess it's still with Billy... wherever that is.

The art is good and the story is certainly different from what you usually see. Not sure if I like having the entire story as a flashback though. I mean, I've got nothing against flashbacks but usually there's some point where the flashback catches up with the main plot and things continue from there. Here it looks like that's not gonna happen since the present is hundreds of years after the main story. Hard to say how well that's gonna work in the end. Also, the pacing is off in spots, especially early on. Overall though, it's not a bad comic.
