DEAR GOD NOT THAT SONG!

First, Tango was drums (easy) and I was guitar (hard). We died about 70-someodd % through (we both had our share of deaths). So, I did bass on hard. Died 80-something percent through. So, she did vocals (cuz there's hardly any vocals, we thought it'd be easy) and I did drums on medium. Died about 80-someodd % through. Had to resort to easy >.<.

Oh, and there's this bonus song (I forget which) that kills you on drums, even on medium. It move fast, and it's basically yellow/pedal, red/yellow, yellow/pedal...etc. the entire time. Oh, it switches from yellow to blue and green, and there's a brief moment of random spazzyness....God, that song was AWFUL. My foot hurt afterwards.

Oh, had so much fun with my friends and Rock Band yesterday. My tonedeaf friend + singing + expert = funny. I then did Ballroom Blitz on hard drums. Fun stuff.
May the Triforce be with you.

Portal is getting to be a pain.

1) DVD-ROM.
2) Steam? Why the heck do I want that? I just want to play Portal.
3) So we activate the code and... it's downloads it from the computer. What was the point of the 2 CDs if it just downloaded the game? It's slower than a CD would be to load.
4) Two hours later, It's done. Yay?
5) By now it's 11:00 at night yesterday, so I don't try it. I load it up this morning and... I need a '1.1 Graphics Shader'. And for that I need $80+ that I just don't have. >>

Oh, and it takes up lotsa memory. Thank goodness for the E drive.

^ It was like that for me when I first got Half-Life 2, except a kajillion times worse because it was right after Steam launched and it had more bugs than a copy of The Force Unleashed in a beehive (ba-dum-tish). My compy had enough graphical power to run the game, but it took me nearly a day to figure out how to PLAY the damn thing. But after I did it was the best PC shooter EVAR!!!17!1 (The combat could have definitely been better, but that's because I'm a critic and nothing is perfect.)

Um... oh yeah. I'm playing LittleBigPlanet, Rock Band 2, Mirror's Edge, Valkyria Chronicles (Best strategy-RPG EVAR!!!!!17!1), Uncharted: Drake's Fortune again because it's a good game and I want trophies, and Resident Evil 4 a) because it is an awesome game, b) in order to prepare myself for RE5, and c) because my stepbrother won't get off the bloody PS3 until he's completed Mirror's Edge (which is my game) and Call of Duty: World at War.

Please.
Don't.
Even.
Start.

This is the saga of Sims 2 Double Delux.

This game was purchased and brought home by an excited Tango and a rather excited Saber. But, upon putting it in the CD drive, it was discovered that it was a DVD Rom! O NO!

So, the bold adventureres traveled 20 minutes back to Wal-Mart to retun this one, for they believed they spotted another one, which they could assume to be the CD one. Alas, the game could not be returned for legal purposes, and on top of that the other one was indeed still a DVD Rom. O NO (again)!

So, mine bold father did indeed go to his work, and they had a DVD rom drive just lying around, so he was given it for free. Upon return to home, he did indeed install it! Things seemed to be going right, right? WRONG!

We did indeed try to install the game, and it did indeed install (after failing once, then taking about an hour the second time)! But, upon starting the game, we did realized that it moved at a snail's pace! Not good enough graphics drive! O NO!

So, my good father did indeed look up what type of graphic drive to use for mine computer. He went and purchased it, but upon taking apart the computer to put in the drive, he found that the graphics drive did indeed not fit! The website hath lied to us!

After much more time on the website and time spent driving, the mix up was fixed, and we were given a new graphics drive. We installed it! It seemed the hour of triumph was at hand! But, alas, our computer is much to sucky to handle it, because nothing appears on the monitor!

So, in the end, after many hours of toiling, we reached a terrible end of nothing. >.<

Yeah, AC: CF and RB. That's my life.

If by now you can't run The Sims 2...
Seriously.
Also graphic drives do not exist, video cards do, along with the drivers to run them.

Also cheez, Steam ain't bad, I never noticed it running FPS-wise. My only gripe is that it must run in the background to play...and I think graphic shaders aren't programs but functionalities of video cards.

If you use Steam, I recommend turning off all the options that let it do much of anything (including start running) without your consent or it'll start downloading lots of game you haven't paid for, just to speed up the download should you ever decide to buy them. Major waste of hard disk space.

I had that issue with Myst 4: Revelations, but I was using a computer way back from Y2K, I'm talking a well worn computer. I'm having a serious issue with Spore too, it was working fine in September, then I sorta stopped playing it, mostly due to a lack of extra time, and now it won't even load up! It just goes to a black screen, then shuts off when I load it up... :-q
Oh yeah, almost done Chrono Trigger DS, and I've gotten back into Folklore!

Finished Mirror's Edge. Well, sorta. I've barely touched the time trials but I've got a ton of other games that need to be played so they'll have to wait. Next up, Uncharted.
