I'll definately add this to the Extras page at some point. Not sure when I'll have the time though. Might be soon, might be after I'm back in the US.

Ooo, I like it, and poor Tilly. And If I'm to be in it I'll stick with the Skitpix. ^_^

And I use paint, and gimp, gimp is allot easier to shade, although I haven't used either for agest because I usually scan pictures onto the computer and them mess with them... but having no scanner kind of put a stop to that.

Enough rambling, the comic is great. Although I have to say... You're using PAINT? How do you-? Wha-?
*Cough* As for the Photoshop thing, I use Gimp now. It's free, it uses layers, it's got other junk, and if you still prefer paint, it's a small program that you can copy things in as layers if that would make things easier. It isn't the most intuitive program, but it's not hard after you find a couple features... I sound like I'm selling something. Just a suggestion. I don't really use it much anymore seeing as how I have the artistic abilities of a spazm... If that's possible. I said I wouldn't ramble anymore...
Keep up the great work. The shading is impressive, not just for being made with paint.
All currently active members will appear at some point, ideally. If you have an objections to being drawn as a Ditto, speak now or forever hold your peace (Coincedentally, I'd appreciate it if you didn't speak now because if you stay a Ditto I can make Evil Clone jokes).

You can't forget about Irfanview. Irfanview is my friend, too. What I do is scribble something on paper with pen, scan it, and use Irfanview to "decrease color depth" to just black and white. Paste it back into Paint, go over the lines with some other color, then replace the rest of the black with white using Paint's magical eraser. From there coloring's no problem with the 'Fill with color' tool, but shading still takes a while... Like I said, I blur the backgrounds in Irfanview, then just stick the characters on top of it. Also, I may or may not use Irfanview to make the whole image darker, then make the lightning bolts lighter in Paint.

Although this 'layers' thing does sound convenient...

Smaaall problem with being a Skipix... that would make you an IPA. Which means you have been created in Opal's Basement... I mean, "Secret Lab". I don't know, I can't see that being a fun time, so the plan was to make you a purebred Skitty, if that's all right.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Yeah, once you've used layers it's practically impossible to go back to ordinary flat image editing. Just drives you nuts not having layers...

It's back to Silver and Josiah for the next page... and they still haven't figured out who killed Tilly. Which means neither have any of you. Ha!

Heh heh... I guess it's something like that...

Thanks! And that depends entirely on the page. If I can copy and paste from the page before, not too long. If there's an entirely new background and new character, like the pages with Opal... I think that took a few hours. I dunno, I didn't make the whole thing at once, so I didn't exactly keep track. But it felt like it took a few hours.

Bet you didn't see that coming. Yeah, spambots are apparently yellow blocks with evil pinchers, robot antenae, and smilies for faces.

Nice. The only mystery is why I haven't already killed all the spam bots. You know, it's too bad shading is so time consuming with the programs you've got, the shaded panels look really nice. You might want to give Gimp a try sometime. It's no Photoshop but it's free and has a lot of Photoshop type features. Certainly a big step above Paint anyway.

I gave Gimp a try... and it really doesn't help because it lacks one basic function. The curve creation tool. You know, the one in Paint where you make a line, and then can drag the middle to turn it in to a curve? See, I can't draw freehand with a mouse. My mouse sucks too much for that. So I use the curve tool. And nothing else. Ever. Gimp doesn't have one, and if it does, I certainly couldn't find it; without that, I'd be making these pixel by pixel like sprites, which would make shading impossible all together...

In other words, I'll be with Paint for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, 'till death do us part. So I... guess I'm married to Microsoft Paint. Which is only a little disturbing.

Send me some wedding photos, ok? As for a curve tool... I haven't used Gimp myself but in Photoshop you use the pen tool to make curves like that (not the pencil or brush but the pen). Might want to see if Gimp is the same way.

If its the curve tool that you like you could always just make the pictures in paint, then copy and paste them into gimp, and then colour and shade it.
