Carmen looked up a couple feet from the ground, saw the Tropius and slowly said 'Um... please don't hurt me...'

Yottsu heard the Beldum yell something about a plant monster and couldn't quite put the pieces together. So he shouted, "PLANT MONSTER?! Where?! Don't eat me! Or these weird fruits hanging from my face!" and started running around in circles.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Kepi decided she should probably talk to the other Pokemon if she wanted to know what was going on, despite the fact that the circling Tropius made a pretty amusing spectacle. So she inched forward until she was standing between a Buizel and a Vulpix. Then she asked, "What's going on...?" in a rather small voice that was barely audible over Yottsu's tramping.

Ocisban the cubone heard some sort of banging noise a little ways off. "Hey, maybe I finally found someone! It's been so long since I've seen any pokemon except for those evil oddishes that keep trying to take my bone." He runs in the direction of the crashing noise.

"Oh, so you have seen a Tauros before Tropius? (he hasn't said his name yet...)" Cream asked. "Where?"

The Tropius stopped running around in circles when he realized that there wasn't actually a plant monster. He didn't quite figure that they were talking about him, but he did figure out that there was not a plant monster attacking him. He then proceeded to answer the Swablu... Yottsu looked pensive for a moment. Just for a moment. Then he said, "Oh. I forget. ...No wait! The Tauros was... no, I definitely forget."
