Hi! That's how I felt last presidential election over here (with some party names replaced)... :-/ Anyway, nice picture!

I plan to spend the day grading papers, though I may go out tonight to try the new Ethiopian restaurant.

On a different topic, anyone besides me playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper and/or Terra Battle?

OMG I finally went on the UK's biggest roller coaster over the weekend! I loved it!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_One_%2 ... coaster%29

Here is a pic of me and my friends. I'm on the bottom right with the brown coat on, i've been told it doesn't look like me even thought it is me (how does that work?)

Anyway, this weekend I'm going on holiday. Doing a bit or archery, falconry and fencing. Should be awesome!

Hi! If you didn't see it on PV, I'm in Arizona right now, staying with my parents for a couple weeks. We're going to try one of those escape rooms tomorrow, which I'm really looking forward to.

Hi! I never got into Skylanders, though it looks fun. Disney Infinity continues to tempt me, but I just know I'd spend a fortune on it if I got started. But I think I'm finally going to cave when that new Lego figurine game comes out. Aside from my life long love of Legos, they seem to be cramming in just about every license under the sun, which is pretty hard to resist.

Yeah, Skylanders is a bit if a money pit, and you have to pay to get figures to access areas I feel you should be able to anyway, and the new game makes Giants and original figures kinda pointless as you now need the traps and trap masters to do anything, but to be fair, you buy a character and they are pretty awesome, they look nice to display, they all play different and you can customise them and level them up, and they all work with the newer games so you can play through all 4 games with the same figures. Also, there are just fun to play, and I love the new feature of the villains talking to you through the portal.

Getting a new figure keeps it fresh, but its like the amiibo, the rarer skylanders get bought up quickly and scalpers on Ebay sell them for double the retail pirce. There set at £15 here and I saw one for £44

I'm an adult and I can afford to buy them or am mature enough not to buy them over a set amount but I can see it being hard if your kids are begging you for the last few skylanders they need and you can't afford it.

Hi! Yeah, it is a fun concept and they've certainly done a lot of clever things with Skylanders. I did think about getting it, but by then Disney Infinity came out and it has figurines of a lot of characters I like. But I help off due to how much of my spending money it would eat up. I'm really good at budgeting my money and not overspending, but if I tried to get all the figurines I want, I wouldn't have much left over for other games, movies, etc.

That games bugs me a little were some of the figures I like (Like the Wreak it Ralph ones) can only be used in Toy Box. When I got the game for my Boyfriend I was under the impression you could play figures from one world in another worlds story mode. Little disappointing.

Hi! Speaking of figures, most of mine are now in Hawaii and assembled. I put a photo on Facebook if anyone is curious. Also, I hung out at Gamestop for a while until it opened last Friday and picked up the Splatoon amiibo set, Ness, Charizard, Pac-Man, Metal Mario, and Wario!

Yeah I saw your pic, those are a LOT of figures lol, however if I had all mine out and not in the attic (after I moved out a few years ago I just left them in storage as I went off having loads everywhere) I'd probably have that many haha!

All my Final Fantasy and anime stuff is in storage. Not epically well packed, but there in the attic so safe enough from my 5 year old and 2 year old niece and nephew ha.

A good friend of mine passed me his Robin Amiibo as he had preordered it and didn't really want it any more, so I'm only two away from all the ones I want. I also preordered Splatoon girl, but when I got into Skylanders again I cancelled my preorder as I was only getting it as it looked nice, I don't even have a wii u so its not like I could use it. If I see it at a good price I might buy it, but my BF actually has splatoon so I'd let him use it until he's done with the game

Still after Lucina at not a stupid price and now I want Greninja too.

Hi! A friend of mine who is currently in Japan offered to pick up some Amiibo for me since I'm not going there this summer. Getting a Greninja, Pit, Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff and hopefully a few others (depending if he can find them). ;-)

Oh yeah there not region locked. The weird thing to me about this is ebay has amiibo that ship direct from japan cheaper than ones in the UK. That should say something about how much of a mark up there has been.

Hi! I Japan, I believe Amiibo retail for around 1300 Yen. A year or two ago, that would be about the same as the $13 price here in the US, but now the Yen's value has fallen a bit so they're only around $10.50 Also, a lot of the sold out Amiibo can be gotten in Japan for less than in the US (either they're a bit more common there, or the resellers aren't trying to gouge people quite as much.

Yeah you can't move for all the Mario Amiibo,

On a related note, got an announcement there is a new skylanders game out in September, so I better start saving haha

I got a look at some screen shots for Fallout 4, it looks amazing. I'll have a look at E3 this year, might be time to finally go next gen.
