Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! See, the heat isn't anywhere near as bad without all the humidity. And the west (or south west, or whatever you want to call the Colorado, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico area) does get a lot of snow, at least in certain parts. Colorado, for example, has the Rockie Mountains of most of the world's most famous ski areas. You can easily get 10+ feet of snow in the mountains (and more reasonable ammounts in other areas). Even Arizona, which is considered a popular place to avoid the winter (due to Phoenix), has some mountainous areas with very heavy snowfall.

We get hot days without humidity here sometimes, and they're still not fun. I'm with Poison; I'd rather not see a day over 60 Degrees F, humid or not.
Also, she said she didn't want to have to go to a high altitude to get snow. Which I can understand, because going up and down a mountain all the time feels weird. That constant ear-popping.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! You think you have days without humidity? No, no, no... You have days with less humidity. Until you've been out west (and not California or Texas, since they have some pretty humid areas) you don't know what no humidity is like. As for going up and down mountains... Mountains come in ranges and mountain ranges are large and contain houses, towns, and even cities. So there's no need to go up and down a mountain if you want lots of snow, you can just live in the mountains. Of course, then you're at a high altitude all the time, but you get used to it pretty quickly.
Climate arguement aside, I made it to Hawaii without any problems. Internet is still going to be a little dodgy until sometime tomorrow, but it's passable for now. Expect more details in tomorrow's PV news post.

Oh! I'm glad I got on here to be reminded. I was going to go to Otakon. I should probably figure that one out soon... At least I live about 30 minutes from Baltimore, so housing isn't bad (although driving will be..).
Just thought I'd pop on and say "Hi" before I disappear again for a month or so.
The heat is kind of annoying when you have to wear slacks and collared shirts for work, no matter what level of hot it is...

Hi! Unfortunately, it's looking like I won't be able to make it to Otakon, but if anyone wants to come visit me in Hawaii while I'm here, I've got a guest room.

Moi,
Oh gosh, it feels so good to be back at my computer, I'm literally dizzy from happiness!...or it might be because the screen seems to be a bit bright.
So, I'm going to try and make this short (keyword: try). I have to get to bed a bit early since I have a final tomorrow.
So, for three days, Friday until today, I was down in DC for the Girl Scouts 100th year sing-a-long, aka: "Rock the Mall". There was around a quarter of a million Girl Scouts there for the event. I repeat, a Quarter of a Million. DC was totally overrun with Girl Scouts (and you don't even want to know how long the bathroom lines were). It also happened to be in the 90's for most of the time, and there was not a single cloud in the gosh dang sky.
Other then that, I had a fun time. It was nice to be part of such a huge event, even though I didn't really do any singing during the sing-a-long...on the bus ride back though, our bus had those little screens to show movies on and somebody chose to play The Sound of Music. When it comes to The Sound of Music, you almost need to sing along to it.
So, a hot but good time overall. I'm happy.
Stay radical people! Peace off!

Hi! Things have been pretty dead around here for the last couple of weeks, haven't they? Well, maybe the forum awards will help things pick up a bit.

I'm more concerned that no one else is even going to participate... how am I going to win Most Fun Poster if I can't nominate myself?!

Moi,
Oh, I'm sure everyone is just caught up in finals and begining of summer activities right now. People should come back soon...I hope...
Speaking of finals, I'm currently caught up in those right now myself. Luckily, my final three finals, German, Geometry, and Biology, are all pretty easy for me.
Hopefully by the time these finals are over, I'll have gotten my DVDs from netflix that I've been waiting to watch for so long. These DVDs have one of my favorite childhood shows on them, Hamtaro! I can barely wait! ^w^

Blivsey joined during the last year, right? I can vote him for best new member, right? 'Cause I think he's running unopposed...

Hi! You can sort the member list by join date. Of the new members, the only ones that have been particularily active at some point or another are: grassquilUV, Blivsey, Zfrank, and Wolfdragon.

'Ello!
School's finally over, so I thought I'd check this place out again. Seems like the board has been kind of dead lately. I'll see if I can manage to drag someone back.

Kaida hath returned!
Semester 1 is over now,yay for holidays. Sorry for dissapearing, everything got a littl crazy with the assingments and tests and exams and my internet dying and blurgh. Hopefully I've past everything. ^_^ Still waiting on some results.
Kaida also now has three budgies. We got another little one, pretty sure he's a he. he's pure white with a blue patch on his bage, some grey feathers on his head and some other random blue and black spots here and there. We ended up calling him Snow, the other thought we had was Cloud. guess where we got botht he names from. ^^
And Kaida came back just in time for the forum awards, Kaida can vote for people! not that she knows who to vote for yet.
