Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I've moved a lot. I was born in New Hampshire but don't remember it because my parents moved to West Virgina about a year after I was born. Lived there till I was seven then moved all the way across the country to Colorado. 6 years later we moved to a different town in Colorado then, a few years later, into a different house in the same town. And then came all those college and Japan related moves I mentioned in my last post. Can't say I really like moving, but I've certainly gotten used to it at this point...
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I've moved twice in my lifetime, but I was too young to remember the first one. Funny thing, though, I've lived in three different houses and have barely moved a mile. I'm within walking distance of both my old houses
.
I know how you feel Mandi. That period before all the portfolios have to be submitted is so stressful. Well, at least it was for me, being the procrastinator that I am. Hopefully you had more foresight than me...Hm, that reminds me. You applying to any colleges on the east coast
?
Well, Swimming's gonna be a two week break soon so I'll have to start running again to get in shape for lifeguarding. During this brief period I should probably take advantage of the time and focus on my schoolwork. I got to make sure to do my homework too...which I should be doing right now...Like, right now...like at this time I should be buried in my work...I should be typing away at some paper...like at this exact moment...
I don't want to do my work.

Hey.
Rehearsal today was funnnn! 8:30-3:00, whoo! After that, ran straight to DI for 3 hours... whoo! While I was there, in my downtime I worked on my song for the KotF challenge... just need to write it down with my music writing software, and perform it, then bam! Done. Maybe I'll do another song that's just a real musical song with the lyrics changed, just to enter more than one... we'll see.
Anywho, probs won't get the chance to actually enter the song until Sat or Sun or Mon because I'm going to MIT tomorrow for the night... won't get back 'til Fri night, and I can't play piano that late. Plus... the sound of the piano carries through the house and I'm a bit shy about my singing, and my parents will look at me funny if they see me recording and singing some weird song... soyeah, gonna try to do that when they're not in the house.

Hey!
No homework today, thank goodness. It gives me some time to write that story I've been working on, and to practice my guitar and writing some of the KoTF challenge some.
No other news... lol peace out!

Applying to only one school, maybe 45 minutes' drive from where I live. /o/
And I've been procrastinating, too. 8D' I'm pretty bad about doing things when I'm supposed to. ._.'
I've moved...twice. Once was not too long after I was born, so I don't remember the move itself and only have vague recollections of the house we moved to. I recall lizards in the back yard that liked hiding under the terra cotta pots, and a lot of spiders in the garage. Then when I was about 7, we moved again to our current house; I remember going with my mom to look at it. It was in the midst of getting all the carpet torn up, so it was messy and she told me to wear my shoes into the house. o3o I don't remember the actual move then, either. /o/

Should I...oh whatever. /o/

Heso! I'm looking forward to moving and all, but it really is bad timing... things are crazy at work because so many people left, meaning I'm spending a lot of time there. Also, school and stuff. Also, the very strong desire to post here for the sake of progressing KotF. Also packing.
Yeah... Silver is feeling all... stressy.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! You're not the only one, Silver. Today has been crazy in more ways than one. First, I found out that my bank isn't letting my paycheck through because the spelling of my name on my bankbook is wrong. Thing is, they're the ones who printed the bankbook so it's their stupid mistake... Fortunately, I was already planning to be in that area tomorrow so I'll go in and hopefully straighten things out.
Then I had a nice day in Tokyo including a rather awesome trip to Akihabara which involved me getting a good deal on Little Busters and finding a ton of CDs I've been looking for. I even got back earlier than I'd planned which I figured would give me plenty of time for KOTF and other stuff...
But then there were some important e-mails I had to deal with. And I learned that my grandfather passed away... It's sad but we were all expecting it. I'm glad I got to see him over the summer...
After that I had a lengthy phone call with my dad about travel plans for when he and my mom come to Japan and suddenly it's getting rather late and yeah... I really should get to sleep soon but I've got more I need to do first.

Vacation went by ridiculously fast... I was so busy... gotta finish my research paper for Monday.... but I'll probably just KotF it up...

Yeah, I know how you feel, Saber. My February break felt like nothing.
I'm really sorry to hear about your Grandpa, Josiah. Hope you're doing okay.
So for some reason this is currently the only site that is working on my computer. Even Google is unavailable. It's weird.

Darn, Josiah, that... sucks. Yeah. That's about it. It sucks.
Heso! One last open... I open tomorrow, and then hopefully, hopefully! I'll be done for a while... between the new person and that random Mexican, there are openers that can work every day! Yay! And after tomorrow comes February 26th, which is...
the day the World trade Center was attacked! No, seriously. February 26, 1993. A car bomb was parked underground, and it killed six people and did quite a bit of damage otherwise.
It's also my and Colly's anniversary. Two years, yay.
Did I mention that my birthday is September 11th?

Greetings, and I send my condolences. May your grandfather rest in peace, Josiah.
Those are a bunch of interesting coincidences, Silver. But it's only coincidental, so there's nothing wrong with it... right?
I feel that I'm getting too post happy because of this contest... why am I so determined to win it...? Because, I have a competitive soul.... Kind of.

Heso! I dunno. I've always had this sneaking suspicion that it means I'm the Anti-Christ. But... I don't want to be! If I ever say that I am, don't believe me! I wasn't born in Bethlehem, I'm from New Jersey!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Thanks everyone. Yeah, I'm doing ok. Like I said, we were kind of expecting it...
Anyway, tonight I'm taking an overnight bus to Shikoku for my big week long trip. As a result, I may not be online at all until Sunday (US time) and my internet might be a little spotty all week. I'll get on when I can though.
And, just to show that Thursday wasn't all bad, here's what I got in Akihabara that day:
1200 Yen from selling diblicate figurines (which immediately went towards paying for all the stuff I bought)
Pokémon HG/SS Soundtrack (which includes a bonus disc of original G/S music)
Pokémon B/W Soundtrack
Little Busters Ex
Castlevania Aria of Sorrow & Dawn of Sorrow Soundtrack
Metal Gear Peace Walker Soundtrack
Disgaea Soundtrack
Plenty of grit (the CD single for the Slayers Revolution themes)
Two AKB48 singles CDs
Billy Hatcher Soundtrack (can't remember much about that game's music but it was cheap)
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers Soundtrack
Melty Blood
Mely Blood Re:Act
As you can probably tell, I came across some really good music stores. Now I'm all set for my Shikoku trip (and quite possibly the rest of my time in Japan). I nearly got Eien no Aselia The Eternity Sword as well, but decided to just wait for JAST's upcoming official English release.
