I should've told you guys about this before, but my SkillsUSA Competition in Prepared Speech was today. Got 1st place, yay! I'm so happy right now I could hug everyone on this forum, lol. I have to congratulate every other winner and 2nd and 3rd place winners, too, in the competition, too. Everybody did their best and I'm proud.
Now, off to doing homework... >_> Peace out, everyone!
1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
From another forum. Anyways, just finished up parent-teacher conferences and just found out that PV had a Facebook page. I'm still rather shaken (in a good way, I assure you). Need to deal with an annoying tileset problem in my game, but otherwise, good. Congrats, Metal!
Cha! I just got to play with a Nintendo 3DS! I randomly went into Game Station to pre-order Pokemon White and I was watching a 3DS trailer they had on a TV and the guy behind the counter was like "Do you want to give one a try?"
They didn't have any games, but they had the Blue 3DS with the installed software. I had a go of one of the inbuilt games that uses the camera and augmented reality technology. There was a card on the counter and when the game started I had to shot targets, but the 3DS kept messing with the picture, at one point making a huge bump bounce up and down on the desk. It works smiler to the PSPs Invizimals but has the power to actually warp what you see. I didn't get a test the 3D features massively but the images didn't exactly pop out at me as I was expecting. I hope the actual games 3D engine is better. Then again, the 3D bar may have been on low, I can't really comment....its a neat little console though. Convinced me to get one when some more colours come out. The console was very shiny! Not matt plastic at all! Very nice looking in fact.

Anywho, while peoples are still talking about weather, it's been a lot of wind... and not to mention abnormally warm temperatures. It's been shooting into the 70s, and it's still winter... I swear, if it really was the groundhog that did it....
That awkward moment when all your attachments just die.
February vacation, whoo! However, my phone has taken this vacation to decide to stop functioning--for realizes! Every once and a while, I open it up and the keypad lights up, but the screen is black, or has lines on it, or is flickering. Yesterdasy, it was black for 3 hours. Now, it's flickering more than usual. Wayyyyy more. Oop, strike that, screen just turned black. So, off to the Verizon store today to get that fixed... of all times, it HAD to be vacation. I mean, I'd be upset if it happened during the week, but not nearly as upset because I don't text as much as I used to. Now, I'm trying to make vacation plans with everybody, and it's so much easier to send out a few texts because people check those way more often than their emails (though I check my emails constantly).
Anywho, I'm the kind of kid that saves some old texts from months ago because they made me laugh or made me feel good... and I especially have an attatchment to the ones that helped cheer me up because I look at them when I'm upset and sometimes that's enough to do the trick and make me feel better. So, if I get a new phone... all those will be gone, which kind of upsets me because I have issues with leaving behind stuff like that. I get attatched. It's not good, but it's what I do. Luckily, I post a lot of the pics from my phone to facebook, so I'm not losing those.
...Waaahhhh, my poor phone.

Woah, it starts tomorrow? Good thing I checked the site today!
You get February break too, Saber? I thought my school was the only one left that did that. Vacation buddies! :P
Ours was this past week though, and it almost didn't feel like one with all the stuff I had going on. Last saturday was my only genuine day off, and hopefully this Sunday will be too.
Not much going on here. It is extremely windy though. Like, howling windy. Gotta make sure all our garbage cans are inside.
I also happen to be on vacation this week~ Good time to relax, watch the snow melt...then come back...and later, maybe melt again. (depends on the weather)
I should probably finish up '2001: A Space Odyssey' (I stopped during the intermission. Yes, apparently, the movie was so long, it needed an intermission back then.), and then get, and watch 'Dr. Strangelove or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying, and Love the Bomb'. (My parents got Netflix, so I'm catching up on some movies that I was to young to see, missed, or wasn't even around for.)

Went to the Cheesecake Factory. Absolutely. Delicious. Great food, and BEST CHEESECAKE EVER.
Also, finished my AP Stats homework for break... so glad that I got that over with. Now just 10 minutes of English, then a research paper which should only take a few hours. Yay!
...but I'm so busy over break, I think I'm going to have LESS time for KotF than I would have normally. Crazy stuff. DI is taking up a ton of my break, and then rehearsal for Fest, and then I'm staying Thurs night at MIT... soyeah.
Tired. Thoughts are jumbled. Bed is good plan! Night!
