Nikka blinked, and tilted her head slightly. She'd had one or two males ask her, but she didn't think anyone else was thinking about it. Nikka nodded slightly at Alex's comment.

"Yet I know this is going to be hard for me to say, but I feel at peace with Nikka. The past week has been hard. I feel a little down, but that was with the blood I lost. But it all came back to me with my stuff. To tell the truth, I think I've fallen in love."

Nikka's eyes widened slightly, and she stared at him in awe.
"With her?!" she heard someone his over the table. Amelia, of course. Nikka only allowed herself to wince slightly.

Alex couldn't believe he was about to do it, but with everyone there now, it was the best time. "Nikka, I've had my eyes on you the first day I saw you. Yet I was so busy with things, I didn't get to know you better. I've dated a lot of girls here, but none of them gave me a chance nor did I give them a chance. They didn't want to see me mad, or think that I was too scared to tell them, I'm sorry. But this will not happen again." Alex got on one leg, "Nikka, will you marry me." Alex put infront of Nikka a ring that sparkled in the light and moved a golden ring in her eyes.

Nikka blinked a few times, clearing her head. It was obvious almost every eye in the room was on them, but she took no notice.
"A-Alex...?" she asked quietly. She thought over her next words quickly, trying to find words. Only one came into her head.
"Yes..." she said, smiling hugely, tears streaming down her face, "Yes, of course!" With that, she half leapt into his arms.

Alex put his arms around her and held on. After he put Nikka down, he slide the ring on her finger and sit back down in his chair. Thomas walked back to where he was sitting and started to finish what he was eating. Everyone else just started to talk about what happened.

Nikka smiled slightly, and brushed stray tears away from her face. She didn't speak much through dinner, but listened to conversations in and out.

Alex didn't feel like talking much during the dinner. He kept staring at Nikka, and wanted to know what she thought of it all. He did care for her, and will give her his heart if she wanted it.

Nikka wasn't sure what to say at all. Alex seemed confused, and she wanted to make things clear. But about what? She bit her lip, and thought through it quickly.
"I love you Alex.." she murmered, staring straight at him, smiling warmly.

Alex smiled back at her, "I love you too my dear." Yet he was still deciding if things should continue or not. Alex then looked at the clock and noticed that it was almost time. The dance was going to start in less then an hour.

Nikka watched the moon rise through the picture window behind the row of vampires before her. She sighed slightly, and let her thoughts wander.

As the clock hit 10:00 pm, the other vampires started to get up and leave to go to the great hall. Plus to see who was on the guest list. Alex took a while, but he got up. He moved Nikka's chair to let her get up. Yet Alex still felt weak after the blood lose.

Nikka glanced at Alex.
"Are you sure you're feeling alright Alex?" she asked, concern tinging her voice.

"I think I'm all right. Just need some extra blood, and I will be fine." He put out his hand for her to get up from her seat.

Nikka nodded slightly.
"If you're sure.." she said softly, taking his hand and standing.
