Heso! Last day of school today... I go back at 4:30 to graduate at 6. Which is dumb, but whatever. So... dang. High School's over. That... is also dumb. I don't like it. I'd always accused her of having a Tomoya complex, but that was only in regards to an oddly similar arm-injury. Now I'm the one that doesn't want to graduate without... Nagisa.

Have I mentioned lately that Colly is amazing? I've got an R4~ Piracy for the win! And by the way, Kingdom Hearts DS is a fantastic game and playing as Xigbar is the best thing that's ever happened in my life.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Whoo. B-) I sure hope respect points don't work like golf, though....

Bleh. My internet's been a freak lately. Just randomly disconnects, and it AWLAYS seems to be at important points. >.<

In other news, I just found my VBS CD's. I put in the one from 2 years ago, and I had most of the dance memorized and the entire song for the theme song. Hehe. Uploading 'em to me compy :D.

And, I have to go memorize a skit in Español. Well, not the WHOLE skit, of course, just my lines, but meh. Fun stuff. And I need to get workin' on that final essay for World Civ. Our teacher is so chill. He was like "uh... you guys get to write it on whatever you want." Normally, I don't like that. I need specifics. But when he said anything, he really did mean anything. It doesn't need to have anything to do with class this year. I'm writing mine on video games. :D

Oh, and we got our grades in World Civ, too. 99 point something or other. :P We've had... two tests this semseter. One I got a... 119/120, I believe, and the other we just got back today I got a 100/100. And the quizzes we've had I've aced, and I've also turned in all of my homework assignments. So... yeah... sweet.

Barely have an A in physical science, though. Just on the cusp of A/A-. Not sure how that happened... I haven't gotten a bad grade since the last progress report, and on that one I had a better grade. Hm.

I'm going to eat you now. Trade that back for Rock Band 2 which is a million times better and has 104 on-disc songs and has more songs that you can download off the internet.
I can't return it. We have it now. And is Rock band for the Wii?

Yes it is, Astral. It glows awesomeness and I will prove why RB is better.

RB:
-104 songs on disc and for free download.
-More than 700 payed downloadable songs.
-A vocals mode that works.
-A great online community. You can connect and play the game with them.
-Character customization.
-You can also play with me and (hopefully) Saber.
-The drum pedal doesn't break as easily. (but it does break)
-More than 7 new tracks a week.

GHWT:
-Drum set with unresponsive pads.
-A broken vocals system.
-16 shared songs with RB2. (it came out after. copiers.)
-86 on-disc songs.
-3 or less tracks every week, the majority of which are unknown European tracks.
-Open strum on bass.

To make another thing clear, Astral, Guitar Hero did start the music game craze with Guitar Hero 1 and 2, but then Microsoft handed the franchise to Activision. Harmonix, the original owners, made Rock Band and were accused of ripping off GH. Harmonix started it, Harmonix does it better. *eats astral*

EDIT: We have more than 16 shared now. We got Spiderwebs, Love Spreads, Heartbreaker and Rebel Yell since that article was wrote.

Hi.

Man, activity needs to pick up in the forums :)

I'm bored with the lack of posts. Mainly in the RP section.

Konnichiwa.

I recently got Myst on my iPod Touch. It's fun, but confusing. I'm quite hopeless at strategy games. XD

And it's not that I'm not around to post in RPs, 'cause I'm not. I'm still lurking as much as ever. Just, sometimes I can't think of what to post. - -

I think both games are pretty awesome, but the vocals is the main thing. I tried the one on GH: WT, I was like "WTF?". I also don't get how to use Star Power with drums on World Tour. The drums are neat, but the cymbals break easy.

Though I haven't played World Tour nearly as much as RB2, I like RB2 better.

Uughh...sooo much homework this weekend. World Civ essay due Monday on video games. Memorize my lines (which I already have down pretty well) for Spanish. Finish my science study guide. MRAH.

One week more... another week another destiny, this never ending road to Su-u-mer..... These teachers who seem to know our grade will surely give us finals soon, one week more..

Great. Les Mis is now stuck in me head.

You're not the only one...I have every Myst game and book (I love the idea and the storyline) and the only game I've successfully beat without looking up tips is Myst III: Exile. Oh well. Anyways, my family's meeting me downtown for dinner, so I'll be back later!

... Well I was going to reply but it seems I got eaten..

It says unresponsive drums in your list but I play GH drums and it seems to be fine. Broken vocals system? Well my sister would know more about it than me. She plays singstar and stuff at a friend's place. She doesn't seem to mind it. There's also character customisation in GH.

Not that I'm particularly sticking up for GH. I just got it originally cuz I played it at a friend's place and loved it. Now that we have it we can't take it back. >.< Rockband does sound more awesome.

Hi! Holy... Have I really not been on since Tuesday? I could have sworn I was... Gah, this whole week is a blur of school work. Can't believe I forgot to get on the forums though, I mean it's a big part of my online routine and all... I'll have to be more careful. Just a week and a half till Independence Day break... Hopefully things will calm down a bit before than though. Hopefully...

So yeah, I've been doing school work and squeezing in a little bit of Plants vs. Zombies here and there. I've been very busy, but not so much so that I couldn't get on the forums. Just too many things on my mind I suppose. I'm glad it's the weekend...

To weigh in on the Guitar Hero vs. Rockband debate. Konami was actually the one who started the whole music game thing. They had guitar and drum games out in Japan long before Guitar Hero (and DDR, Beatmania, and many others). Guitar Hero basically ripped them off, though GH does get the nod for successfully introducing plastic instrument style music games to the US. Moving on to GH and Rock Band... There were actually two companies heavily involved in creating the first Guitar Hero, Red Octane and Harmonix. After GH turned into a big hit, Activision bought Red Octane (and the GH name). EA wanted to capitalize on the popularity as well, so they bought Harmonix shortly after. Neither RB nor GH really ripped either one off because they're both made by the guys behind the original GH. RB added drums and vocals first (well, actually they ripped off Konami again) then GH added them, then RB ripped off some new modes and features that GH had added, and it's just going back and forth like that. At this point, both games have a few nifty features that the other doesn't and a slightly different song list. Some people swear that one drum set is much better...but you can find the same number supporting both sides in that regard. At this point it just boils down to personal preference, they're really pretty equivalent. Meanwhile, Konami is left to kick themselves for not brining their guitar and drum games to the US when they should have.

Hey.

Listening to music on shuffle can be annoying when you have 9 LoZ CD's, 5 of which are OST's (2 disks for WW, 2 disks for MM, and 1 disk for OoT). Usually, you get nice songs that last a bit, but with those 5 CD's there are plenty of times when you'll get a four second song (opening treasure chest, item get, ocarina song, etc.). And, it starts getting annoying when you get like five four second songs right in a row.

Well, in other news, my Wii is being a jerk. I, personally have not played it in a few weeks. Just been playing Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2. But, my sisters their friends have. Now, I went and put in Okami for the first time in a while, click to start the game and it's all "an error has occured". Slightly ticked off, I tried again, and the game loaded (though it took a while). I played a few mins, then it suddenly said "the disk could not be read". I ejected it, put it back in, then it went to the black screen, white words, "an error has occured". GAH!
