The twins walked silently through the streets. The two had been wondering around and have been doing random tasks in order to earn money. You see, the two were abandoned by their parents at a young age. Heck, they can't even remember anyone else being there but each other.
They had been walking down the street in silence. Well, silence until Isumi began to complain "Oi nii-chan, I'm hungry" Isumi said breaking the silence.
Her brother did not reply to her. The heavy rain began to fall at this point, "Damn rain...." Yuji commented quietly.
"Nii-chan... I'm hungry..." the young girl repeated, assuming her brother did not hear her the first time.
"I Heard You The First Time!!!" I suppose he did hear her "What do you want me to do about it! He haven't been able to get any source of income in the last 2 weeks! How are we suppose to find food to eat!"
"g-gomen nasai..." Isumi stuttered.
"Daijobu... Anyways, first we have to find shelter somewhere." Yuji said, "I reakon that place is our best bet" he said, pointing at the building labeled "Yagi Residence".
"Are you sure it's a good idea to just break in?" the young girl asked
"C'mon, we just need shelter until the rain stops, it's not like we're asking for them to look after us, and I promise I won't steal anything this time (this time he says). Now, follow me.
Using their stealth skills, they snuck in unnoticed.
"OK, we should be fine here for a wh..." Yuji was interupted by random yelling.
"Kaoru, you're irresponsible!" "But Hijikata..." "No excuses! i'm tired of it!"
"Damn, people are here...." Yuji said quietly.
"Well, what did you expect?" Isumi said sweatdropping. "Anyways, lets get out of here." as she began to move, she tripped over herself and fell in plain sight of Bael and Kaoru, "Eto....."
"I was wondering when that was going to happen" thought Yuji, remaining concealed.

Kaoru smiled softly as Bael once more wrapped an arm around his shoulders, walking down the hallway alongside him. But they soon stopped as they heard loud stomping coming towards them from the opposite direction. The young Taichou already knew who it was and that only caused his dread to grow. 'Oh my... I've really done it now...', he thought silently.
Hijikata entered their sight, continuing his gait until he was barely a few feet away from the two of them. It was clearly obvious that he was not amused. He reached out and grabbed Kaoru's arm, pulling the young man forward so as to make him present himself.
"You're late, again. Not to mention, you were walking around the village unarmed. What if you'd been attacked by ronin? You also got yourself wet and could have gotten sick. Do you care nothing for your health? I've come to expect much better conduct from a Taichou of the Shinsengumi...", he paused, an irritated sigh escaping his mouth. "Kaoru, you're irresponsible!"
Kaoru made no move to free his arm from the grasp of the Fukuchou. He knew that doing so would only result in injury to his arm. As he listened to Hijikata's words, a pout claimed his lips. His expression grew even more sad at the end when the man finished with one final yell. "But Hijikata-san...", he pleaded, meaning to explain all that had happened before his arrival back at the Headquarters. But he was abruptly cut off.
"No exscuses! I'm tired of it!", Hijikata said firmly, releasing Kaoru's arm. "Just go to dinner. Make sure you eat more than just the misou soup and broiled fish this time. You eat so little and you're practically a stick." With that, he turned away from them and departed from their company, disappearing through an open door that lead out to the front porch.
The Taichou stood still, turning his sorrowful expression to the floor. "... Yes, sir...", he muttered, despite that his superior had already left. It was then that something fell onto the floor just a short distance away from them. He turned his damp gaze up and saw a young girl, who had apparently tripped. 'A child? Within the walls of the Shinsengumi? What in the world...?' Kaoru moved forward towards her. "Are you all right, Ojo-sama?", he inquired, offering her his free hand so as to help her to her feet.
~~~~~
Kusa gently slid open the fusuma that led into the dinning hall. While making his way across the room, he noticed that the normal people were all present. Kondou-san, Yamanami-san, a majority of the members... But there were some missing. Hijikata-san, Ayazu-san, and his Niichan. 'Hmm... Niichan must have been late coming in again.' The shinobi shook his head and took an open seat beside Allikia-san. He smiled, taking his share of the dinner items. "Good evening, Allikia-san."
If you haven't guessed as much, I used to be Artemis around these parts.
((Wasn't planning on this but I can't just let a Japanese history RP go without joining...))
Name: Sakria (code name, real name is unknown)
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Class: Non-aligned Shinobi / Demon Hunter
Appearance: straight black hair halfway down her neck, brown eyes, lithe and athletic build, clothing varies considerably based on what she's doing
Weapons: katana, two pouches of shuriken knives
Styles, Skills, Abilities, Techniques, etc: Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu sword style, shinobi shuriken arts, kuma claw technique, assorted shinobi arts
Personality: Sometimes cheerful and out going, sometimes cold and silent, sometimes violent, always mysterious, and always does what she wants, a very difficult person to read.
Bio: A skilled shinobi from a remote mountain village, Sakria was born with the ability to sense demons. She uses her ability to hunt and kill demons all across Japan. Her past, her reasons, and her true name are all unknown.
Text Color: darkgreen
Sakria crouched on the branch of a cherry tree, her eyes piercing the sheet of rain to lock upon her target. The half demon with the ridiculously long name, it would be so easy to attack now and finish it... But even with her skills, there was too much risk in the rain deflecting her shuriken, turning a fatal attack into something much less. And then he'd know someone was after him... Besides, this one was different than many of the others and she was curious to see what he sought in Kyoto.
After standing for awhile Zaka decided it was best for him to get out of the rain. He was getting wet now from the spash of the rain on the ground. Also he felt like he was being watched. Not that it mattered really. There were many people who were after him. Some for what he was and some for what he was trying to do. Then quickly in a flash of light he was gone. He reapeared in one of the many caves in the nearby land. All carefully hidden by magic. They all connected at some point and the group were in the proccess of turning the caves into their base of operations. Things were going well for now. He had afew spies already in town scouting the groups there and where the Empior himself was being held at. It would still be some time before they could make their final move. He had to plan this out carefully since it ment possibly going though a group of people the same size as his own.
He was glad to of gotten some of his fathers abilities. Some he had mastered, others he was learning still and others he suspected would show up sometime later. He had no idea how much of his fathers abilite he had gotten but he planed on useing them to make Japan better. For now he all he had to worry about was getting things orginized here.
Isumi let Kaoru help her to her feet, but said nothing in reply to him. She was too pertified with fear, to say or do anything so she just stood grounded in front of the two who had discovered her. She was always very clumsy, but it had never gotten her into such situations until now, so she did not know what to do. "Gomen nasai! We didn't mean to break in, we just needed shelter from the rain, please forgive us!!" The girl stuttered out of fear, beginning to cry.
Yuji watched from the shadows, "*sigh* She broke my cover now" Yuji said, readying his blade.
((Neo... this is going to drive me insane. It's "Emperor". Not "Empior". And "should have", not "should of", for that matter.))
As usual, one of the first people to arrive for dinner in the Shinsengumi's Yagi Residence was Rui. She probably would have been one of the last to leave, too, if there wasn't a rumor circulating about an intruder having snuck into the base. It certainly wasn't something that happened every day, what with the Shinsengumi being laregly feared by the commonfolk, so Rui was quite curious as to who would come sneaking in.
A leftover Onigiri in hand (and the remnants of one on her face), Rui embarked on a journey to find the mysterious intruders in to the den of the Samurai. After sneaking out of the dining hall and running through the halls, she found a small group of people stopped around an unfamiliar face. Of course, it's worth noting that... by the time the information reached Rui it had fallen victim to an accidental game of telephone.
"Bael-kun! Kaoru-kun! Is this the mutant spider person that broke in?"
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
Kaoru immediately realized that this wasn't the only child within the living quarters. He glanced back at Bael and gave the barest nod of his head in the direction of where Yuji was hiding. It would become a very serious situation if the boy drew his sword here and now. The Taichou then turned his attention back to the girl. "Please, calm down. You aren't in trouble for you've done nothing wrong.", his voice was gentle as he tried to stop the child's tears.
It was at this point that Rui came along to see who had snuck into the Yagi Residence. With a soft sigh, Kaoru turned his head to look at her. "Rui-san. That isn't a nice thing to say about our... guests. They're just misfortunate children who were in need of shelter from the rain.", he paused, putting some thought into his next words. "However, please don't inform Hijikata-san of this incident. He's already upset over other matters... Is that understood?"
"So, you did get chewed out again. When will you learn, Niichan?", Kusa asked. He'd been standing silently among those who had gathered to see the pair that had snuck in. But now his previous assumption had been confirmed. "You know, keeping this a secret from Hijikata-san will come back to haunt you. If you think he's angry now, then think of what will happen if he finds out that you hid this from him."
~~~~~
Gil had been scouring the cliffs and rocky terrain just outside of the caves, bored from a lack of anything to do at the time. He'd found nothing to entertain himself with. But then something caught the corner of his eye. His master had finally returned from having a look at Kyoto. With a feral smile, the Neko made his way over to Zaka. "Ah. Welcome back. How did it go?"

"H-hai..." Isumi replied quietly. She didn't quite understand what was happening at his point, or what the others were talking about, but she didn't want to anger them by asking questions so, she just stood their quietly.
Yuji on the other hand became irritated at Rui remark. he leaped out of the shadows behind Rui and.... no he didn't proceed in swordplay, he gave Rui a well deserved slap across the back of the head, "Who's the mutant spider!?" he said agitatedly(even a word?). After doing this he turned to Kaoru, who he thought was the more reliable of the group, "Who's this "Hijikata" guy I keep hearing about." he asked "I don't get the big deal of why he's so important anyway..."
"Nii-chan! That's none of our business!" the young girl said.
"Urusai! Baka! I wouldn't have to be here asking them this if you didn't blow our cover." At this point, as you guessed, Yuji wasn't very happy about the situation he was put in. Furthermore, from his sisters point of view, it's surprising that he hadn't drawn his sword yet.

Zaka sighed when Gil suddenly showed up. "Figured you wouldn't like the rain. Besides we just got here and all that and you are outside exploring? Gues anyone around might just think you are someone wondering the area looking for a dry place but still you need to be more careful. We really don't want anyone to know where we are yet. But yes I did get a view of Kyoto. It is abit bigger then I thought but that shouldn't be much of a problem. Though I do have a feeling a hunter might be around. I got a feeling of possibly being watched. But then again I'm always abit on edge. But I'd be careful if I were you. If there really is one, then it's not safe for you to be out on your own."
Zaka was glad he had extended the consealment abit from the caves so that noone would see people comming and going from the caves. And anyone who got close who wasn't part of the group or wasn't being brought by someone in the group would think of something else they had to do and leave. He didn't want them being seen too soon for now.

Sakria watched as the demon vanished. She frowned, wondering what other powers he had. She had only begun tracking him recently, too recently to have a full grasp of his abilities. Not that it mattered much, after years of demon hunting she was fairly certain that she'd seen all their possible tricks.
She could still sense him in the distance, likely in one of the hidden caves she'd discovered earlier while tracking him, and he wasn't alone.
"What is he up to?" Sakria muttered as she jumped out of the tree and landed smoothly on the ground. "Not many gather a group together like that... If it comes to a direct confrontation I might need some help for this job..." she sighed and looked out towards Kyoto. She briefly considered following after the demon but there was no need, she knew where he was and this was not the time to attack.
Ignoring the rain, she began to walk towards Kyoto. This would be a good time to replenish her supplies. And perhaps she could discern what the demon sought in the capital.

"Hey! Don't you go slapping me! I'm just repeating what I heard from Tarou-kun in the dining hall!" Rui shouted at the intruder, an annoyed anger vein appearing on her forehead and her hand curling into a fist. "Geez... almost dropped my riceball and I didn't even get to see Spiderman... well, I won't tell Hijikata-kun about it, anyway. For your sake, not theirs."

Ishi was walking down the street. She didn't like the rain much as it made it hard to move quickly. But for now she didn't have much to do. Her main mission right now was to gather some info on the 2 main groups. One was for what the Emperor was trying to do and the other to stop the other groups killings. And they didn't care for the Emperor either. But still they may not like the idea of Zaka trying to take over. Also there might be smaller factions to worry about. Soo much to try and find out. She was glad she wasn't alone in the job.
But for now she wanted to get out of the rain and someplace dry. She found a pub and entered. She sat in a corner and ordered some food. After being on the road for a week or more ahead of everyone she was rather hungrey. It would be good to have a decent cooked meal again.

Bael just stayed silent as Hijikata yelled at his Itoshii, sighing softly. The children rolled in front of him and Kaoru, and Bael blinked softly, aptly not remembering these children off hand, but staying quiet none-the less. He could tell that the lecture had bothered Kaoru, but he was hiding it fairly well.

"Like I'd need you to do anything for my sake." Yuji replied, poking his tongue out at her, "Anyways, its not like this 'Hijikata' guys some sort of God! But by the looks of it, you seem to treat him like one." Yuji said, looking at Kaoru "I don't get what there is to be so afraid of. Are you a warrior or a weakling. "And what's with you? Are you mute, you haven't said anything since I saw you." he continued, turning to Bael "Or are you too afraid of this guy to say anything!" Eri walked back to the emperor and on the way back, she decided to take a turn at a point to a large garden. There, she took a few minutes trying to decided if and when. Yet that wouldn't save her now for the protection of the emperor, so she left and started to run back.
Getting back was a breeze, but she also did it with no one else following her. As Eri went to her room, there was food there. It was cold now, but she ate it anyway and after it, she went to bed.

Time will tell, as things come
Come to it all, will never end

You will never know what my pain is untill its too late. Never for my heart to fall in pieces as with the blood that drips.
Du kummt..........
