Day 4 of being sick. My throat doesn't hurt anymore, but now I'm sneezing and couging and it really hurts my chest. I've got a really bad runny nose, and there arn't any tissues around. Joy.

Hi! I slept late today so now I'm running behind on things. Sigh... Got to get out of the whole "I'm on break" mentality.

To answer one of Gar's questions, I didn't ban the IP cause I didn't want to lock all the whole library. Though I might have if Marley friend kept making spam accounts.

To answer his other question... Sushi actually refers to specially prepared rice. Sushi has to have rice. It doesn't have to have fish (and that fish doesn't have to be raw) and it doesn't have to have nori (the seaweed a lot of sushi is wrapped in). In the US, most sushi is wrapped in Nori but in Japan the majority is just some type of sea food (slice of fish, shrimp, octopus, etc) sitting on top of a block of rice. Though Japan has wrapped sushi as well. Common types of sushi include sake (or salmon), various cuts of tuna (maguro, toro, etc), clam, shrimp, crab, various types of veggies (cucumber, kanpyo, etc), tamago (egg), and the like. My advice, try as many different things as you can at first to get a feel for what types you like.

Arg....not much free time this week. Just got a project assigned. It's a short one, 'cos it's due in two days, but it's still gonna take me some time to do. Add in softball tryouts and other stuff in my life, looks like I'm gonna be busy....

Congrats Cheez! I hope you feel better soon Gar, being sick sucks I have an 1100 word essay due on friday, along with my formal chem lab report. Not fun. Also, I got my math marks back from that week where I had those three tests, seems I failed it with a 40%. This does not bode well for my final marks...

Hey.

Okay, so I'm sure I mentioned how I had a band concert and softbally tryouts at the same time. Well, anyways, in the concert Marching band went first and the high school concert band went last. So, after marching band, me and two friends from the marching band drive over to the fieldhouse (the audotorium and the fieldhouse are on opposite sides of the school, so it's quicker to just drive). I went to tryouts. I had asked a few friends to call me when the band before us was going on so I could run over. They didn't. Tryouts ended for the day, but I still had a hope of making it, so I took my bag and ran all the way across the school (not fun). When I got there, the concert band was warming up. I was like "o snap". I put my black pants on over my shorts and my black top on over my t-shirt and swapped shoes and came out, but I didn't go on stage. The conductor was just about to step up, and I decided it'd be better if I didn't go on, when the percussion asked for another music stand, so the conductor went down to get a music stand and he passed me by. Told me to go on. Feeling like an idiot, I took a chair and walked all the way across the stage to the trumpet section.

The conductor made some comment having to do with softball, but I didn't really hear it. Too busy getting myself settled. Something like dedication of kids who had both laccross or softball tryouts today, then the audience was all "clapclapclap".

Blah. It actually wasn't as embarassing as I thought it would be, but it was still pretty bad >.<. I felt bad for the guy on the snare drum in our third movement. He had the drum on...don't know what the term is. Like, you can tighten a snare drum so that it sounds more...I don't know how to put it, so I'll just stop.

Meh. Back to homework.

Hi. Got a new avie 'cos Psychonauts is the $***, and because I don't like having the same avatar for more than a few months.

My sister is going to be having a Lord of the Rings special edition movie marathon over the next two days with most of her friends, who all share a similar personality with her. Which means that they are most likely going to bug the living crap out of me between movies. So if I don't post for the next few days it is because I have barricaded myself in the basement with my vidjeo games. Actually, I could also barricade myself in the study so that I'd have interwebs and/or play WoWcraft and TF2. I also need to install Left 4 Dead at some point during this March Break...
