The Big(?) Issues Thread
Re: The Big(?) Issues Thread
I get that so often, it's really annoying!
Maybe the underpants gnomes are opening new divisions (old South Park reference, woo!)?

Rania - Female; Type: Water, Grass; Abilities: Torrent, Overgrow; Attacks: Tackle, Curse, Razor Leaf, Bubble W/L = 5/0
Karst - Male; Type: Normal; Abilities: Keen Eye, Guts; Attacks: Tail Whip, Scratch, Defense Curl W/L = 2/0Re: The Big(?) Issues Thread
Maybe the unbelievable amount of static that socks build up in driers causes them to sponatiously go from our universe to another. Or maybe a wizard did it. He always does stuff like that to mess with us.

Re: The Big(?) Issues Thread
There's two theories I find most plausible in this situation. One, human error. How do we know the sock even made it to the dryer? Maybe it disappeared in transit. I've found a couple orphaned socks hiding under furniture. Kinda depressing really.
And the other, much more plausible, theory is one our family called "Gammy's little men." Now Gammy was my great grandma, and she was always "misplacing" things. I think the real culprit is lawn gnomes. Lawn gnomes come into our houses when we are asleep and "misplace" things. Putting the keys in the couch and the sock under the bed, little things here and there as that's all they're really capable of.
Now you may be thinking, "but we don't have lawn gnomes here," that doesn't matter. They go to untaken houses, spreading their chaos. They're very territorial. Each gnome has one house they're allowed to enter, forcing gnomes that share lawns in the day to sometimes walk long distances every night. Others escape the lawn and hide in their chosen house.
They also make good hitmen. So make sure you don't get on the wrong side of someone who has gnomish connections, or they might "misplace" your skull.

I personally think it's aliens. Not all this Supernatural nonsense like "lawn gnomes" and "Narnia". I'm talking hard scientific fact that Aliens abduct things... Is nothing on this planet safe from their cold, superevolved fingers >.< [/melodrama]

Scientology poppycock. It's definitely a sock rebellion. Mine are so rebellious they're starting to peel paint off the wall. Oh wait...

Re: The Big(?) Issues Thread
Has anyone considered that it may be the dryers themselves behind the entire thing? Maybe they're secretely trying to take over by stealing people's socks so everyone will have to go around barefoot, hurting their feet and gettings colds, until they're weak enough that the dryers can rise up and conquer all. A rather dumb plan, sure, but they're dryers, they can't be all that smart.

Josiah, you need to rename this thread to Wild Mass Guessing, 'cause that's what we're doing right now.

*shudder*
My dryer is TOTALLY conspiring. I mean, what other motive would they have to kae our socks. First socks, then our undergarments, then our shirts, then our SOULS!!!!
Think about it. It makes semi-logical-kinda-irrelivant sense!

Re: The Big(?) Issues Thread
New issue time! So, who is on first? ((I'm gonna be really disapointed if no one gets the reference.))
Re: The Big(?) Issues Thread
Haruhi Suzumiya in disguise? A Time Lord? A cryptic message concerning the big bad of Duke Nukem Forever? No, that'd be silly. It's all of the above!
