Hi! Today I'm finally going to sit down and do my dad's monthly paperwork for him. Which basically means sitting around and watching TV for a few hours when entering a bunch of data in Excel. Not particularily exciting, but a good chance to watch a bunch of anime.

Turns out I had little problem with my computer, so Nab told me to download this ant-virus program, and that had a BIGGER virus on it (explians last post) so now my friend is going to try to fix my computer for free before I have to spend $80 to fix it.
Horray for knowing people that are nerds!

So don't download any anti-virus stuff people - big virus that will really destroy your computer (On my friends Heather's comuter BTW)

Or, get a well-known and trusted anti-virus program. Like AVG Free. It works fine on my computer, and it always fixes the virus.

Thought I would. Meh. I kinda feel sick. Anything you get from Download.com is virus free. That's where I get my Anti-malware. You're one of the few people I know who would actually recommend AVG, Cheez. Not that that's a bad thing.

Hi! I pay for Norton Internet Security (anti-virus, plus firewall, plus other stuff). Sure there's some decent free stuff out there (though make sure it's from a reputable source, as Opal found out, a lot of the free anti-malware stuff is fake), but when it comes to keeping my computers running smoothly and my files safe, I don't mind paying a bit for the best protection I can get.

So, I finally got those portfolio tweaks done. Nearly done with my dad's paperwork too... Just in time for the massive amount of homework I have coming up. Seriously, starting this coming week Research Methods in Technology will be giving out what essesntially amounts to two classes worth of reading and homework assignments all by itself...

Oi. Stevenson, some of your questions are unfair. But I knew which ones you decided to choose anyway... So no, I did not answer truthfully, so sue me.
Also, other instruments hurt too, just different muscles. Any wind instrument can "Blow their ligature" or wear out the muscles in their face to the point that they can no longer play. You got it easy, you don't have to replace reeds on a trumpet.

Konbanwa. Even if I don't practice the piano for an extremely long time (several months or half a year; I lost track), I can still somehow manage to play Bach's Invention No.13, only if I play the right and left hand parts separately. It's a bit weird. And regardless of how long it had been since I last touched the piano, I retain the ability to read sheet music. It's pretty handy when looking over music for various songs from anime and determining whether or not they're worth printing out and learning. So far, I haven't found any. Which is a shame.

Is anything wrong with AVG Free? It's free. And it's blocked hundreds of viruses.

Hi! There's nothing wrong with AVG Free, it's just not quite as robust as Norton. It'll protect you from a lot of stuff though.

In another computer related matter, my internet is currently dead for some unknown reason (was working fine last night but I haven't been able to connect at all today). I'm currently borowing someone else's network but that's something I dislike doing both for legal and security related reasons. Hopefully my internet will start working again later today. If it doesn't though, I'll have to get a hold of tech support, which might be tricky on the weekend... Long story short, if the problem doesn't just fix itself soon, I probably won't be on a lot for the next couple days.

To Mandi... Between college and Japan there was several years when I didn't play piano at all but then I started up again this summer. I did surprisinly well but I certainly wasn't where I used to be. I was just starting to get back to that level when I moved back here to AZ. So now if I want to keep it that way I'm gonna need a piano.
