Anyways. There's no health bar on Kitty after Caterpie tackled him... Does this mean he's now invincible? If so, tackle with the might of the gods, Kitty! If not, you might want to use a potion, I could tell better if I knew how much that last attack took off...

Very nice!
I think Kitty can take one more hit if needs be. Finish the battle with a last tackle!

Re: Pokemon Blank Version
Aw, thanks guys! It means a lot
And Poison, nice catch. I didn't notice that :D
Well, there's no health bar afterwards because I usually only showed the health bar of the pokemon that was being attacked. When Caterpie did string shot...I dunno. I guess I just put both of them up there. :P
So what'll it be folks? Tackle, Splash, Potion, or Leftovers?
Also, I'm going to start updating the first post with general info on the story. Stuff such as Jessie's pokemon and items.

Oh... The health bar was on the left. I'm crazy, ignore me.
Also: tackling seems like a good idea. We're not even in the red yet, right?

Re: Pokemon Blank Version
I'm freaking back! I feel like a huge jerk for that. I have no excuse. But to make things short, let's just say this was the result of poor time management, forgetfulness, and me being an all around idiot.
Unfortunately it's not gonna update as much as I used to. But I'm going to make an effort to make at least one update a week.
Also, it turns out I don't know how to work bandwidth. So, right now all the old images are sort of blocked. I'm in the process of moving them all over to a different host, so they'll hopefully be back up soon.
Edit: IT IS DONE.
Okay, now back to your irregularly scheduled adventure.

Kitty unleashes a-oh wait that's caterpie. Could all be lost for Kitty? A small sliver of green hope says "NO!"

Kitty tackles with the MIGHT OF THE GODS...the might of gods with the attack power of a level 5 magikarp. But GODS nonetheless.
CATERPIE fainted! Kitty gained experience points!
Kitty grew to LEVEL 6!
Kitty learned NO NEW MOVES!

CONGRATULATIONS! You've just won your first battle as a POKEMON TRAINER. You celebrate as you see fit, rules be damned. And a marvelous celebration it is.

Hey, what do you know? It turns out it's actually customary for the losing party to fork over half of their on-hand money. So you don't have to go through the trouble of roughing up the little jerk for his dough...though you still might want to.
You wonder how much your felled opponent had hoarded away. It could be hundreds, thousands even!

...He gave you 72 pokedollars.
What.
What is this.
This is chump change! Maybe there is occasion for some rouging up...
But no, the kid's being honest with you. Turns out the he only had 144 pokedollars on hand. You can't tell whether the kid's just frivolous with his money or if he just really sucks at training Pokemon. For your reputations sake, you hope it's the former.
At least he also lets you keep the hat. That's something. It's a good thing too. You've become rather fond of your questionably ascertained headgear.
Well, now that you got that annoying little, figuratively and literally, problem out of the way, what do you want to do?

...With 72 Pokédollars?
(Yay! A thread I'm subscribed to was posted in! *dances* Oh... You all are still here, I should do something.)
Umm... Poor Kitty seems a bit roughed up. We should get him patched up at a Pokécenter, or something.

After the victory party, lets go shopping with the 72 Pokedollars!

Catch another pokemon, you know that just having one pokemon is pretty bad strategy.
I thought Snivy was a grass version of Cyndaquil, that's the reason for my nickname, oh yeah check out my Youtube channel, grassaquilUV. (easy to remember, isn't it?)
Re: Pokemon Blank Version
Be sure to crawl before you heal him (by resting in your bed, odd how that works). Best to avoid eye contact and all.
Re: Pokemon Blank Version

Rick is obviously not happy about losing to you. Before he leaves the darkness of the boiler room, he declares that you haven't seen the last of him.
Yeah yeah, keep walking. Man you're glad that kid's gone.
> Throw a victory party with the 72 pokedollars.

Oh yeah. You're gonna celebrate your first victory in style. To make it even more meaningful (and cheaper), you decide to only use the money you earned from the battle. This party is going to be the hard-won results of your blood, sweat, and tears.

Oh wait no that was Kitty who was fighting.
Now that you think about it, he doesn't look so good. Poor little guy really gave his all in that fight. Looks like he's close to fainting.
> Get Kitty patched up.
You put Kitty back in his pokeball and venture once again out into the hallway. It's later in the day, so there's more people out. Most of them are probably trainers. Wait, doesn't that mean that they can challenge you?
Crap.
Kitty's in no state to fight! You've got to be careful if you're going to make it to your room without being seen.
> Crawl on the floor. Avoid eye contact.

Phew! You made it back to your room without incident. That was a close one.
> Take a rest.

You know you should probably attend to Kitty as soon as possible before you go do anything else. Besides, you don't really feel tired or any-

>

You wake up two hours later. Now that you think about it, getting up at seven was actually pretty early for you.
Well, you've procrastinated long enough, time to take a look at Kitty and see what the damage is.

Uh, there doesn't really seem to be any damage. Unless it's of the brain variety. But really, Kitty's looking pretty energetic now. Maybe he was resting as well. Funny how that worked out.
Now where were you? Oh yeah, the party. Well, there's not much to buy on a cruise ship. There might be a couple more stands upstairs where you can get some party favors.

Oh, great. That's where that stupid Fake Golden Magikarp Salesman's pushing his faulty wares on people. And who knows where Rick went off to while you were sleeping. He might be up there too. Even worse, he might have rested up as well, meaning he's now got two pokemon at his disposal. You suppose you could hide from them, but you don't want to be stuck in your room for the rest of the cruise. Who knows how long that might be?
> Catch another Pokemon.
If Rick's got two pokemon, then maybe catching another one will even the odds.

You go into the closet to get your GOOD ROD and put it in your inventory. Fishing off the ship sounds like a good start. You've hooked your fair share of pokemon in your days. Only this time you won't be throwing them back.

You crawl your way back to the deck and poke your head out into the sunlight. So far so good. But you've got to be careful. This is a vey delicate situation.
