IPA Store

Post by Silver »

Fweee first major change since Silver took over IPA.

So, normal Pokemon trainers can buy items - why shouln't IPA trainers get the same opportunity? You may not need healing items because of the Infinity Potions, but we've got some other stuff here. Also, keep in mind that this is purely experimental at this point, and as such, the stock is limited. What's listed below... that's all there is right now.

The currency used is IC - Impossible Cash. You get 500 IC for defeating a gym leader - if you've got two badges, you've got 1000 IC. It's just invisible. I swear. IC isn't exchanged in normal trainer battles, though bets can be made. If you're both willing to give half your cash should you lose, you're welcome to do so. And obviously, you don't get anything from Wild IPA unless, say, you've got a Star Dust Coin or you use Pay Day.

So for now, here are your options. I'm gonna change the system a bit since I'm editting around in here anyway... unlike IPA, there are more than one of each item listed here. Which means you can buy more than one of each item at a time if you've got the cash... but the stock does change pretty often.

Also, check back here every once in a while, because sometimes there will be special sales...

--Stock as of February 18--

Image IPA Ball - 300 IC. Used for capturing Wild IPA

Image AIPA Ball - 600 IC. IPA's Great Ball.

Image Star Dust Coin - 500 IC. Causes Wild IPA to drop IC somehow. It's... currently being researched.

Image TM28 Dig - 800 IC. Teaches Dig (Type: Ground, Power: 60, Accuracy: 100, Effect: Attacks on second turn, can't be hit on first turn)

Image TM34 Shock Wave - 400 (Usually 800) IC. Teaches Shock Wave (Type: Electric, Power: 60, Accuracy: 100, Effect: Always hits target)

Image Ever Candy - 250 (Usually 400) IC. Feeding this to an evolved IPA causes it to revert to its previous form. Feeding it to an unevolved IPA gives it EXP equivalent to two wins, but also prevents evolution until 10 wins.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

You know, I actually suggested a store to Opal a long time ago...

Anyway, I'm gonna buy a Star Dust Coin and give it to Pupitron (and then switch it to whatever IP I use each battle).

Oh, one suggestion. You might want to list the move type for those TMs. I mean, I know that Dig is a ground attack but there might be some people who don't.

...I'd personally find it pretty pitiful if peopel can't figure out what types these attacks are, considering they're WATER Pulse, SHOCK Wave, and DIG... but I guess there's no harm in adding the type too.

Also... please post your items and remaining money in the IPA storage thread.

You never know, Neo... massive quantities of TM28 may mysteriously appear in the stock when the next gym leader is released... evil plans? Me? Nah...

And Opal, make sure to mention that you're equipping the Star Dust Coin... because otherwise I'll probably forget to roll for it. I tend to do that.

...And, well, for the record, Duke can learn Dig. He would phail as a Ground type if he couldn't.

Hey Silver, I'm buying the Ever Candy and feeding it to Nosel. Since it can't evolve, it won't hurt it
