"Agate is next, right? It'll be good to be back home..." said Stevenson as his two got healed.(wait, agate is the place made out of trees, right?)

"You live in Agate?" Opal asked.

Stevenson nodded his head.

"Huh. Neat. Anyway, I'll go for some food." Opal and the gang walked outside. Opal had Cream out, who was resting on her shoulder.

~MEANWHILE~

"I still don't know why we have to be looking for that stuoid pokemon." A voice siged. "It's not like we can even do anything to it."

"Because, I said so. Arguement end." Growled another voice.

"Hey, um...what kind of pokemon was it again?"

The guy took out a piece of paper.
"Blue with white wings...." He read.

"So, is that it?" The guy pointed to a certain pokemon that was resting on a certain someone's shoulder.

"While I'll be, that IS it! Way to go Opp!" The other guy smirked as they approched the gang.

"Hey, two guys with bandanas are approching us...." Silver said.

"Wha?" Opal blinked as they came into her bubble zone. "Um....can I help you?"

"Um, yeah. That bird. It's ours, so we'll be taken it." Opp said as he tried to grab Cream, but Opal smacked him away.

"Excuse me! Cream is MY pokemon! And there's nothing you guys can do!" She squeezed Cream in her arms.

"Oh really? How about a pokebattle? Two-on-two. Right here right now." The otehr guy, who just happened to be named Spoz.

"I'm on!" Opal grabbed someone's arm. 'You can help me. Go, Mud-chan!" SHe sent out her Mudkip.

(Anyone who wants to battle with Opal can)

((You couldn't wait any longer to bring these guys in? Bah, whatever... I guess this has been moving kind of slow. It just would've made more sense to wait until Pyrite...))

"Oookay, apparently I'm in too... well, go on, Twister!" The Pidgey hopped off Silver's shoulder as Spoz and Opp sent out a Sentret and a Poliwag, respectively. "Use Quick Attack on that Sentret!"

"Come on Mud-chan! Use water pulse!" Opal had taught her Mudkip water pulse.

"Poliwag, cover sentreet and use double slap!" Opp made Poliwag take the water pulse and it used double slap on Mud-chan

"Crap, it hit 4 times. /Why do they call it double slap if it hits more than twice?/ She thought.

"Come on Sentret, use scratch on the pidgy!" Spoz ordered.

"Dodge and use gust!" Silver commanded.

"Mud-slap!" Opal yelled.

That KO'd the Sentret.

"Garg! Return! I'm not done yet. Go, Vulpix!" Spoz sent out his fire pokemon.

Rhianna stood nearby, watching the battle with wide eyes. She had let out all three of her Pokemon. Skye, perched on her shoulder, cocked her head and chirped. Flare rested her head on the trainer's other shoulder, and Shroomish was cowering under the nearest bush. Rhianna noticed this, glanced at Flare's burning hooves, and sighed. "All right, you can go back in your ball if you want, Shroomish." The Grass Pokemon peeked out from under the bush, shook its head, and disappeared among the leaves again. The entire plant started quivering anew. Rhianna stifled a giggle and resumed watching the battle.

*Glenn was watching the match with a thoughtful look.* "Seems kinda strange for those guys to just start a battle in the middle of town like that. I wonder who they are..."

"Poliwag, use Double Slap on the Pidgey!"

"Guess we lucked out; it only hit twice! Now, while it's close and can't dodge, use Gust!"

"Mud-chan, use Water Pulse on the Vulpix!"

"Use Ember on the Pidgey!"

"Ok, let's finish that thing off! Quick Attack, Twister!"

And that was all the Vulpix could take after the super-effective Water Pulse, which meant Spoz was out of the battle completely.

"Arg! Come on Opp! Even a moron like you can take on these clowns!"

"Grrr....Poliwag, bubble on the pidgy!"

"Dodge by using quick attack!"

"Mud-slap!"

Finally Poliwag fainted.

"Noooooooooooooooooooooo -deep breath- ooooooo!" Teal returned his fainted pokemon.

"Yay! I get to keep Cream!" Opal hugged her Swablu.

"Pfft, you think you get off the hook that easy?" Spoz approched Opal.

"Hey, she won fair and square. Don't try to start anything because we out number you." Glenn spoke up.

"Come on Spoz, let's go." Opp turned around and started to leave.

"You'll regret the day you double crossed an ex cipher!" Spoz yelled and he left with Opp.

"Ex cipher?" Opal blinked.

"Didn't know that they were still around...oh well, let's go heal and go to the next town." Silver said.

After the group - well, Opal and Silver, since they were the only ones with Pokemon that needed healing - made another quick stop at the Pokemon Center, it was off to the bus stop to get to Agate and the next Gym.

"The Gym Leader in Agate uses Bug Pokemon, so it should be a pretty easy win... and from there we'll want to go to Pyrite. Mostly because there's a Pokemon Reservation right in between Agate and Pyrite and we'll definitely want to have a few more Pokemon by then." Silver explained, the bus appearing down the trail shortly after Mr. I-live-here-so-I-know-everything (that-and-I'm-under-the-controll-of-the-creator-of-this-roleplay) finished talking. Which rarely every happens. Big mouth.

"Hey, wait a minute. Where's Neo?"

"You know, I haven't seen him since he beat Wet Willie..."

"You think he wandered off while we were fighting those psychos?"

"Guess we better find him, then."

"But we'll miss the bus, and God only knows when the next one'll be here!"

"Actually there's a bus schedule right-"

"WHATEVER! Neo can take care of himself. We'll just have to wait around in Agate for a while and see if he catches up."

((And yes, Stevenson, Agate is the tree town.))

A bus pulled up at the station. The little light said that the next stop was Agate.

"So, we're taking this bus, right?"

*The others followed Glenn onto the bus and took their seats.*

"How long of a ride is this anyway? I don't have anything to do."

"We could always sing!" *Silver was quick to suggest.* "Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall, ninety-nine bottles of beer!"

"You know what, I have an even better idea!" *Glenn was quick to interject.* "We could, uh, not sing."

"I second the notion," joked Rhianna. Both Flare and Shroomish had retreated to their respective Pokeballs, to avoid setting people on fire (in Flare's case) and to avoid getting trampled underfoot (in Shroomish's case). Skye was perched, as usual, on her trainer's shoulder. "So," the girl began, trying to start a conversation, "What's this Agate like? I've never been there, but it sounds nice."

"A lot of the houses are old, hollow trees, or at least have roots growing through them."

"Yeah! And there's this... shrine thing..."

"The Relic Stone, built in honor of Celebi, which was used to purify Pokemon a long, long time ago."

"...That. And like I said, the gym leader, Anette, uses Bug Pokemon. Which is appropriate because of all the trees and stuff."

"Bug pok?mon?" *Glenn took a quick stock of his team.* "Darn, I don't have any fire or flying attacks... Oh well, it might be nice to have a challenging gym battle this time around. Are there a lot of trainers there? I'd like to get some battles in before trying the gym."
