"You work for the Scarlet Crusade...? I'll kill you.", Gil said, drawing his blade again.

Raphael sighed. "If you were listening, you would know that I clearly do not work for the scarlet crusade, as I detest them. Secondly, my hands are not on this young fool, my dagger is simply within dangerous proximity. And third-it has to be you, because you were foolish enough to step on my shadow, which hurts alot by the way."

"Like he even suspected you were a living shadow. Now, let him go. He's mine!", Artemis said. She hadn't removed her sword from his back yet.

"If you detest them as well, then you are with the right group. Please, release our friend.", Gil said, sheathing his blade.

"Ha! Your sword will not penetrate the blade wheel that I have on my back."
At this point Silver and Lash had noticed the commotion an rushed over. Lash, with his Acute hearing, heard most of the conversation as of late.
"This young ruffian assaulted you?"

"Blade wheel, huh? Don't those have holes in the middle so you can use them?"

"....fine. You win." Raphael put away his dagger. "You've assembled quite a lot of you haven't you. Even the weak are strong when banded together."

Artemis sheathed her blade again and smiled to him. "Our goal is to gain a few more.", she replied.

"I would reccomend a few, but most of them were dead. However, many anti-crusaders do frequent the bar you were heading to." he nodded his head in that direction. "And I've been out for some fresh crusader blood." And with that, he changed into a beetle and landed on Tikawa's shoulder. "I shall accompany you-for now." he whispered into Tikawa's ear. "At least until I find a better method of killing crusaders."

"Then let's go talk with them then.", Artemis said. She turned and started walking off towards the tavern.

Gil ran to catch up with her. "A lady such as yourself really shouldn't head into such a place by herself. I'll accompany you.", he said.

Artemis felt her cheeks blush as they walked towards the tavern. "Thank you...", she replied, stammaring.

Tikawa blinked as the man turned into a beetle.

"... Interesting ability..."

He shrugged it off and walked toward the tavern with the others. He noticed the other dragonian and sort of rolled his eyes.

Raphael flew over to Gill's shoulder. "Of course she isn't alone you twit. That featherite's been following her for a while now."

Gill turned his head to the left.
"Don't look, fool, or she'll see you."

They entered the tavern.

The owner was behind the bar, watching all the patrons, cleaning a glass. He eyed the team, and lifted a brow. Some strange man came up and started talking to the owner. The owner nodded and kept an eye on the newcomers...

"... Everyone here's either Drunk, or a weakling..."

He said that quietly, not wanting to upset anyone.

"Don't be too trusting, Miss Artemis. In these times, it's dangerous...", Gil said, standing near her as though he were a bodyguard.

"Yeah, most people around here are grog-swilling drunkards, and most of the rest are Crusade-supporting scum. Like the one-eyed featherite over there, whom is still following you. How did you not notice him before?" Said raphael, flying in beetle form over to land on Artemis's shoulder.

"Can I help you...?" He watched the group.

"Uh.." He looked to the others, then walked up to the counter.

"Yes... we're looking for people to join our cause?"

"What cause...?"

"Against the cru-"

The man quickly brought hi hands up to cover Tikawa's mouth.

"Quiet you fool! They can't know... Come on... Follow me..."

The man glanced up to a man and did a nod to one of his workers. The worker came over and stood behind the counter. He looked up to the group, and made a head motion for them to follow him. He walked down the hallway behind the counter.

Tikawa glanced at the others, shrugged, and followed him.
