Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Shauni makes a good point.
Nothing too exciting here at the moment. Ants are getting into my apartment again, but there aren't nearly as many as last time and I stuck out some traps right away so hopefully I'll get rid of them before they get bad. A little toad also got into my apartment last night. Not sure how that happened, but fortunately I caught it right away. Ugh, it's a nice enough apartment but I never had this much insect trouble anywhere else. Guess it's a Florida thing.

You should have left the toad be, at least it would sort out your ant problem
Also, I've been as sick as a Hell Hound the last four days, even had time of work which I don't normally do...urk. Had solid, real food for the first time today and I seem to be holding it down. I hate being ill.

Hi! So I wrote in today's Pebble Version update there haven't been any lizards getting into my apartment. Guess what I just found a few minutes ago? Stupid irony.
At least I managed to get it outside, but it was harder to catch than that toad.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
They were waiting specifically until you posted the update to appear. They're cheeky little buggers like that.

Soooo there's another Steam sale going on. This time it's for THQ games. And I just bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Bundle, Company of Heroes, and Metro 2033 on top of my already-massive backlog of games that I barely have time to play due to the constant college work.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
So I'm back home (though Cornell feels more like home to me...) for the next couple days! This weekend was the Harvard/Cornell football game, so naturally the band went down to good ol' Boston as well! Friday night, we played at Quincy Market (SO MUCH FUN! And so many of my friends from home came to see me. It was incredible) and yesterday we played at the Hahvahd/Cornell game. Despite the fact that our football team was crushed, in my mind we still won since our band is infinitely better than Hahvahd's. Classes don't resume 'til Wednesday (yay awkward fall break!), so I decided to go back home for a few days. Though that meant I didn't get to ride a band bus back to Cornell, which made me very sad. Our band buses are ridiculously amazing. Even though something weird happened to my ear on the way to Hahvahd that left half my head splitting with pain for about two hours and the fact that I completely lost my voice. It's still not back. Ugh.
So now I'm home with a ton of work to do (it's fall "break" where "break" means "lol we still assign you all the things") and a 6 hour ride to look forward to on Tues. Oh, and I've also got a painful cough, a runny nose (that occasionally bleeds, too!), a sore throat, pink eye. Oh, and that whole "lost my voice" thing.
Yaaaaay vacation...
And, for the record, I decided against talking to my drum major. Just figured I'd see where things go naturally.

Hi! Get well soon, Saber!
I went to the Epcot food and wine festival today. Still there, actually. It's awesome and I'll be doing a write-up Wednesday.

Cha!
I spent my weekend watching a comedy gig and playing laser tag. Fun times. I'm not impressed that Pokemon White & Black 2 are out in the USA and I gotta wait till Friday. why can't they just release them at the same time? Is there a lot of difference between a USA English and Europe English?

I don't think it's because of the language changes that the UK release is delayed by a few days. I think mostly the issue is that it isn't just UK... all of Europe is the same region. Therefore they don't just need it to be ready in English, but all languages that are widely spoken within the region. And sure, we've got Spanish and French to worry about in NA... but there's a few more than that in EU. It could also be purely an administrative thing, of course. Getting approvals and planning shipments. I mean, for a title like Pokemon, every store that sells games across the entire continent needs to have a few copies ready to go before launch day. So there are a lot of things that need to be done besides just translating.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Those would not be resolved within a week really, and they have had over a year to get ready for the release. I just think they do it for marketing reasons. To be fair though most games come out on Friday over here, its odd to release a game on Sunday.
I'm just annoyed as I REALLY want to play it.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! For such a small difference in release dates, it's probably due to marketing reasons. On the subject of B/W 2, I'll admit I'm not overly excited. I already have a complete pokédex (minus the last couple event pokémon), and while B/W's story was impressive for a Pokémon game, I didn't think it was all that amazing overall so I'm not dieing to see what happens next. I think what excites me the most is the stuff in Join Avenue. Seems like a bit of a pain to develop (I may be wanting to link up with a bunch of you guys over wi-fi at some point to help populate it), but the ability to raise and lower EVs and give pokémon instant level boosts is pretty awesome. And means that I can EV train my battle team, and maybe even add a new pokémon, without having to start over from scratch or collect a lot of rare berries in Dream World.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I'm looking forward to it as I'm not bothered about completing the pokedex and stuff like that, I like playing through and building a team from scratch and beating the elite four with it. I've done this so many times on Black and White I've got 6 emboars for gods sake lol. I'm looking forward to having somewhere else to play though as I'm a little tired of the same gym leaders and pokemon in B&W as I do play over and over. I've got that sad I'm playing a theme team, beat the elite for with a Monkey team, purple cats, pigs, dragons and now doing it with only turtle pokemon.
I'm also looking forward to seeing the World Championships and Pokewood. They both look interesting side attractions.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Moi,
Well, I disappeared for a while there. My excuse?...Uhh...school?
But, seriously. I didn't realize how different Junior year is from Sophomore year. SATs and PSATs? Wat? Having to take these tests on weekends? Why? I don't understand! (Just kidding, but really? Tests on Saturdays? That's when I'm catching up on my sleep! I'm going to become a zombie!)
So, my school's Anime club has a few new members now (Most of them are seniors, so they won't be around next year, but still)! We decided to post a few flyers around the school for our club this year, and it seems to have worked. It might be a bit awkward for new members since the current members (myself included) are all somewhat close friends and, therefore, rather open and random with each other, but hopefully they'll get used to us.
Yeah. Other then that, not much going on. When not working on homework and projects, I spend most of my time on Reddit or YouTube (mainly YouTube)...I might be needing to get a life at some point or another...maybe tomorrow...or next week...or something.
Stay radical people! Peace off!

Hi! I got my copy of Black 2 yesterday, though I'm not sure when I'm going to start playing it. Soon...probably. Anyway, I've got homework I really should be grading right now so I should probably go do that...
