Moi,
(I believe my childhood dream of having a computer/robot-boyfriend has gone down the drain. I can barely beat a computer on easy at chess...)
Well, if you're using that logic there, Silver, then it would seem I should start finding myself one of those kind of guys as well...
You know...when I actually feel like getting into a relationship...*Quietly picks out random issue of Loveless from bookshelf*

Hi! Picked up my copy of FFXIII-2 at the midnight launch and, as soon as I get home from work, I'm going to put my to-do list on hold just for today and start playing.

Hey.
So, first day of the new semester! Really excited because every other day I have lunch with my best friend, who I haven't had lunch with in over a year, and I really never get to see her during the day at all and it'll be nice to reliably be able to hang out with her for a bit! Also, I have a class with one of Tango's friends (she's a freshman, I'm a senior), which is a tad strange, but highly amusing. Survey of Film. It's a party class. Whooo!
I should probably do some homework, or something like that. Probably. Too busy being excited by the fact that my grades aren't getting sent to colleges anymore! SIGNIFICATLY less pressure in my life!

G'day!
I want to go to Ireland... I can't stop listening to my Celtic music while studying... As a matter of fact, me and some friends were talking about places we'd go if the U.S's government ever went so corrupt. (I'm not pointing a finger at any particular person or party.) I chose Ireland and Canada, while my friends chose Germany, Russia, Australia, etc.
And I should be what Saber should be doing right now at this very moment... Nah, more downloading of Celtic music.
Peace out!

Hi! I'd be a bit wary of Ireland due to all the terrorist issues they had in the past, though that does seem to have mostly died down over the last few years. As far as moving to other countries goes, I'd actually be wary of most of Europe (due to a combination of economic troubles and rapidly growing Muslim populations). And Russia is both corrupt and very polluted. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan would be ok though.

Hey.
I'm not sure why a growing Muslim population is a bad thing? Russia also has good news.... just sayin'. Got a good friend from Russia and we get all the cooliest news from Russia Today.
Oh so I kind of mentioned it offhandedly (when I was loopy, I believe) but I needed to get at least a 92.5 on my BC Calc midterm to get an A for the semester (which is effectively an A in the class "BC Calc part 1" with the weird way my school works)..... after the scaling, I GOT A 96 YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! All the hard work paid off, it was so wonderfully exciting :D :D
Still don't know what I got in AP English, but I'm content for now!

Hi! Congrats, Saber!
I know some people from Russia too. Even if you can put up with all the government corruption, from a health standpoint it's a horrible place to live. I'm sure there's some areas where that's not a problem but the heavy pollution in the cities and do some serious damage if you're there for a long time.
As for the Muslim population, whether or not it's politically correct to say so, if you read the news you'll see quite a lot of riots, hate crimes, and the like started by European Muslims, along with a strong push in many countries to make Sharia law legal. And, at current population rates, some European countries could be predominantly Muslim in a few decades. Unless said Muslims begin assimilating into their host countries and embracing more European values (which so far they really haven't shown signs of doing), it could get pretty bad.

Hey guys, grass here!
So, finally have exams over with! I am so happy! I hope everyone else did well on whatever exams they had.
Also, With all this talk about different countries, Canada is very good, it has food, money, water, and shelter, and jobs. Need a place to go to? Come to Canada!
In other news....You are absolutely mean Pikachu127! You just had to pique my interest...Yes, I broke down and watched My Little Pony: The TV Show! You know, based on what I watched, it is kinda girly and foo-foo, but honestly, for what I was expecting, it really wasn't all too bad. I am defintely going to, I can't believe I am going to say this, keep watching it! Yes, I said it.
So anyways, see you guys later!

That was certainly a surprise to look at... First thing I do i come here, read everything (hope you're all well people), and I SEE MY USERNAME. Woo (I almost feel like I'm ignored, but this isn't some rant on pay attention to me blah).
Anyways... Hai gaiz. Recently started a Hamtaro Facebook page, and it's well near 200 likes... considering I started it this saturday, it's a surprise, really. School's okay, and not much else has been going on.
Again, I hope y'all are well,
Pika

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi!
So I learned about Mary Sues today, and even various examples from fiction about them (Bella Swan from Twilight being the most common from what I've seen). Seems like I'll need to be aware of them whenever I write from now on. THAT is why I don't write (nor read) fanfictions with made-up characters, they always have to have purple hair, win every single Pokemon battle, be Darth Vader's mother, knocked out Chuck Norris, and get the good looking guy/girl in the middle of the story. Bleh...
Superbowl weekend! Go Patriots! There seem to be more Giants fans in my neck of the woods. Though I'm not a Patriots fan, I've always loved Tom Brady since I was eight. Barbecue and parties, here we come!
Peace out!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Moi,
UGH, don't even talk to me about Mary Sues. I have an extreme dislike of them. I find the pure idea of them just horrible. Whenever I find a fanfiction that includes a Mary Sue/(whatever male-Mary sues are called), I either stop reading it right there or, if I haven’t started reading it yet, I don't even start it.
Anyway, I've been playing Animal Crossing quite a lot lately. It's so addicting...although, it doesn't seem to be getting in the way of my other addiction, Amnesia. Quite the contrary! I've actually decided to try and make my house into a mini-Castle Brennenburg. It's a bit like the hobby of making miniatures of houses and such, except less hands-on and tedious.
So, nothing else really to talk about, therefore, I'll end this post here. Stay radical people!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Greetings.
Gary-Stue's are the male version of Mary-Sue. . . I just realized how funny that was. . . *Shudder* Oh how I dispise Mary-Sue's. Kindda why I don't read fan-fics anymore. They just. . . no, just no.
Anyways, so I have this friend, she's been having problems lately. Like lots of problems. And well, she's no longer on facebook, hasn't replied to any of my messages (she could be out of credit so I can ignor that) But I've now called her 20+ times and every time its rung out. She she was supposed to come around today, but well obviously that hasn't happened.
So this friend has BPD, and well her docs just taken her of anti-depressants. And she has attempted suicide a couple times. So I'm really worried since she's been having lots of problems lately. . . I tried going over to her place but me and my dodgy memory couldn't remember exactly where it was and she's supposed to be moving soon. Can't send her message on facebook. No replys to texts. and She's not answering my calls. . . Just Don't know what to do. I've sent her and email but I don't know how long that will take.
I'm just basically worried about her and don't know what else I can do. And I could just be worrying for nothing. I guess all I can do atm is keep trying her phone.
On a less depressing note, I'll know on the 9th whether I have to wait another 5 months at least before going to uni.

Hey.
Also, I agree with you on the AC thing... I never seem to be obsessed with just AC, I've always got some other obession that causes me to remodel my whole house in favor of the theme... it's been about a year since I've last gone on my AC: CF file, though. :/ Last I checked, my house was a mini-Hyrule, and my little character dude is wearing a Link tunic :P
Anywho, SUPERBOWL LET'S GO PATS!
I disagree--there are good Mary Sues. The total joke-fics that make fun of Mary Sues by using Mary Sues? Those are still fun. :PPoisonWing14 wrote:Moi,
