Hi! It's time for some serious unpacking. There's a few things that'll have to go on the floor until I get a chance to buy a desk and shelf, but it'll be nice to empty out all the boxes.

Hey.

I actually haven't considered any Flordia schools... furthest south I'm looking is Virginia, but that's 'cos I don't know about any other schools further south than that. Huh.

I've always thought it'd be really cool/weird/kind of scary/fun to meet up with a forumite in real life. I mean, for so long, they've just been words on a page next to an avatar... the fact that they're another living human being is pretty impressive.

SO I saw Les Mis (yes, again) today! The group that performed it was mainly high schoolers with some younger kids (like, for Young Cosette/Eponine and Gavroche) and a few college kids... and it was freaking fantastic. One of my closest friends was Javert, which is his dream role, and he was so freaking excited. And then there's the fact that I was the one who introduced him to Les Mis, and how we used to sing it together all the time... we got all reminisce-y (sp?) after the show and decided we needed to hang out sometime and eat fudgies (our nickname for some weird fudge treat that I STILL don't know the real name for) and sing Les Mis... I really hope that happens, 'cos I haven't hung out with him in way too long :P Also, one of my other good friends was Eponine, which is also HER dream role... and she was FANTASTIC. The whole show was absolutely incredible. I also knew the Cosette (incredible!), the ValJean (also fantastic!) and the Marius (AWESOME!)

SUCH a good show~

Yeah, I've always thought it would be kinda neat to meet one of you guys too, Saber. But it'd be so confusing to everyone around me, cause we'd probably end up greeting each other by our forum names, and the people around me would be like "Why the hell did she call you Siranae?" :P

I've been pretty much stuck in the same place for a while though, so travelling's kinda out of the question. If any of you are ever in the Jersey Shore area, that's where I'll be 99% of the time.
...Well, now that I'm going to college, it'll be like that 99% is split between Jersey Shore and the New York City area. Huh. Welp, now there's two locations!

On another note my brother went bodyboarding Saturday in a tuxedo. My sister joined him in a white dress. Hilarity ensued. We had to keep telling people that no, they're were not getting married. I mean my bro's thirteen and my sis is nineteen. After that was out of the way everyone was just flat out confused :D.

I don't know why I haven't met you yet, Sira. We're so close together and yet so far away.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.

Yeah, I've thought of that too, Sira. I mean... it'd be too weird to call them by us by our REAL names when we've been Saber Knight/Sira/etc. for years upon years. Plus, I'd totally dig it if someone called me Saber in real life. WAY cooler than my given name.

Also, again to Sira, that reminds me of a thing Improv Everwhere did... too lazy to pull up the Youtube video, but they had a BUNCH of people dress up in black tie formal stuff and go to the beach.... they go swimming and bodyboarding and everything and all the other people there are like "WTF" It's wonderful.

So so I saw Hairspray today! Wasn't as awesome as Les Mis (and not just because Les Mis is my favourite show EVER), but they still put on a great show, and I got to see even more of my friends be awesome! A girl I'm fairly good friends with was the lead, and I never would have recognized her if I didn't know ahead of time it was her. What with the wig and her making her voice higher than it normally is and her TOTALLY playing a character that was SO against her personality... yeah, it was hard to tell it was her.

LAST WEEK OF WORK, WHEEEE!!!

Hi! It's kinda annoying that, even though I'm on the East coast now, I'm still not near any of you guys.

I divided the day between running around and buying stuff for my new apartment (furniture, random stuff, some groceries, etc) and putting together said furniture. Tomorrow should be my last really busy day. Still gotta put a lot of stuff together and then unpack the things that go on that stuff. Plus I need to do a bit more grocery shopping (there's no Whole Foods, or suitable substitute, in the area so I can't get everything I need at one store). The lack of an IKEA made furniture shopping a bit more difficult than usual as well, but between Target and Wal-Mart I did well enough. The plus side of going to Target, however, is that they had the DVD sets for all three seasons of Big Bang Theory on a major sale, so I've got something good (and not subtitled) to watch while assembling all that furniture.

Silver, I know right? Maybe when the school year starts and I'm kinda off on my own I can take the trip or something. That'd actually be pretty cool :D.

And Saber I'd definitely call you Saber in person :P

Ah, that sucks having to go do house stuff shopping without familiar locations. I remember the first time we were in Florida on vacation we were also kinda stuck. And we only needed to buy food and sun tan lotion.
But yes Target is really good for furniture.

East coast huh? I wouldn't be there since it's close to Hurricane season.

and yes, Target does have good furniture. too bad i can't get any because my house is overflowing with furniture.

it's as bad as a house on Animal Crossing.

Hi! Yeah, Target and Walmart both have decent furniture. At IKEA though, I can get cheap solid wood stuff (which I prefer to particle board, even if it's not always quite as fancy looking). Anyway, I didn't really mind shopping around for furniture, but having to hit up multiple grocery stores is a bit annoying. Fortunately, I think I've got it narrowed down to two for future trips. And now, back to furniture assembly.

I actually have a whole group of friends in real life that know me as Poik rather than my real name. Mostly because there are sooo many people that have my name... And just about everyone knows that nickname now, so no one would be surprised with me.

So I've got a week before my next job starts. Just got out of my last internship, and the Co-op people twisted my arm to get me to take this Fall off of school to start the program. Bleh. I should be happy about landing this job, but I really just want to go back to college right now.

Hey,

I've been readibg the recent posts about people meeting up, and all that, I got to say, you guys have got a good friendship here! I have one thing to mention though, It feels kind of weird, seeing this, because, for someone who is new, its a kind of scenario where you don't know what to say, you guys have a tight group, I am new, and I don't know if I can become a part of it, with all of you knowing each other for years, and me just joining and still feeling somewhat out of place, I don't know quite how to say this properly, I gave it my best shot. I hope you understand my POV. Thank you for reading.

Hi! I finished putting together all my furniture! On the down side, I didn't have time to even get started on putting everything away so I'll need to do that today. But that's just a minor annoyance. The really bad news is that my Wii seems to have died (it won't power on) so I need to look into getting it repaired. I'd just buy a new one...if it didn't mean losing all my virtual console games. Not sure exactly what went wrong with it. I was having trouble getting it to work with my new TV (the image was always garbled no matter what display settings I used) and then it just stopped working.

In other news, I finally got my class schedule. Next week is unusual (no classes, just some faculty meetings I need to attend) but after that it looks like my schedule will be 8:30 - 2:30 Monday - Thursday. That's not too bad. I won't have to leave super early and I'll have a good chunk of the afternoon free to exercise, work on Aurora's Nightmare, etc. And I get three day weekends every week. Now if I just had some better classes to teach... I've got three sessions of a class on Microsoft Office (most likely very easy and very dull), two sessions of an intro to programming class (problem is, I don't program), and one web design class (easy enough, except the last professor made some really poor text book and software choices that I'm kinda stuck with). Hopefully planning and grading those classes won't take too much of my time, since I'll also need to plan and design five game courses to be used in future semesters.

Hey, I'd try sending it in to Nintendo. It's what I'm gonna have to do soon too, because my Wii no longer reads discs. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to get a new one.

Hey.

Grass, we all started new sometime. Sometimes, I still feel like I only joined a few months ago... and then I remember I joined a few YEARS ago. Dude, I've totally become one of those old dudes! The dudes that you go on new forums and go "Wow, they're an old dude! Why are they still here?" YEEEEAH!!

Also, I had to send my Wii to Nintendo once because it had issues with reading Brawl. After googling the problem, I realized it was pretty common and sent it in to get fixed for no charge (other than shipping and handling, of course). Now my Wii is having issues reading Mario Party 8.... but, eh, if it's not having issues with Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, I'm good. Been replaying that like a crazy kid. Forgot how fun it was!

Hey,

Thanks you for encouraging words Saber, It really helped, Honestly! I think with those words to look back upon, I think I'll be able to fit in quite nicely, Thank you so much! ;-)

I read about the nintendo wii problem, I had a problem with the wii, the colour red did not exist on the screen, but its turns out the TV had a problem with the channel the wii was hooked to, soI put it on my cable box jacks, and it works fine, So, I would just try before taking it into a repair shop, put into a different TV, or different jacks for the wii, or just replace the power cord, just making suggestions here, It helped for me.

On to other news, I am writing a story and I want to place it here for critquing, but problem is, I don't know what section to put it in, Fanfics or Writing, It does have Pokemon in it, that's something huge with the main character, but it has life lessons about loss of family, etc., So, which section? I'm thinking Fanfics, but I'm not entirely sure, can someone help me out?
