Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Greetings all!
24 Days till I get married! :O
Everythings slowly coming togeather for it. Eeeeeee
Also We not have a birdy! We got a baby Budgie (Budgerigar for those interested). She's a gorgiouse lemon yellow colour. And we're pretty sure she's a she. May turn out to be a male yet. Either way we ended up calling her Sorbey.
But yes, thats all for now. And good luck with the new job Josiah

Hi! I think your wedding is a bigger deal than my job, Kaida. Remember to post some pics when it's done, ok?
So yesterday I went to the bank to deposit a $50 check. Except that I accidently got off the highway one exit too late. While backtracking, I spotted a mall with what seems to be the last Borders store in Phoenix (I thought all the ones here had closed last year). They were having a going out of buisness sale so I stopped to look and ended up getting a few things. And, since I'd never been in that mall before, I decided to take a quick look around. Turns out the Gamestop had a left over copy of the Assassin's Creed Brother collector's edition which they were selling for cheap so I ended up getting that as well. In the end, I spent around $100. Kinda ironic that a trip to the bank ended up costing me twice the value of the check I went there to deposit...

'Lo peeps. Today was my first day of volunteer work at a local zoo specializing in reptiles. Most of the afternoon was spent cleaning terrariums for the adoption center, but near the end of the day I got to feed the tortoises... The big, turtley, adorable tortoises.

Hi! My dad actually has a friend with pet tortoises. I saw them at his house once. Seems like they'd make for pretty cool (and easy to care for) pets.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey, Friends~!
Pet Tortoises? That sounds... pretty awesome, to be honest. Oh yeah, they are kinda cute too.
That reminds me.. .I'm supposed to be doing volunteer work and whatnot this summer at the library... but I've always been sleeping in past noon because I stay up too late. Not that I need to stay up late, it just happens that I think 10:00 pm is a boring time to fall asleep at.

Moi,
Ugh...Well, I'm convined that I've become nocturnal. I've been waking up around 6pm and going to sleep around 8am for at least the past two weeks or so. Knowing that school starts back up in about a month, I might want to think about switching up my schedule...
I've noticed something that annoys me a bit. One of the worst things that can happen to someone who draws quite a bit is getting an idea right when you're going to sleep or getting tired...this just happens to be the most common time (for me, at least) to get an awesome idea for a drawing. Trying to draw when laying on you back or side is hard and sometimes painful, and drawing while laying on your stomach is just painful, and can be annoying if you don't have something under the paper while drawing. I need to get a piece of polished wood to put next to my bed just in case I get another idea at night...
So, yeah...coffee, computer, music, night, and moquitoes! NARG!

Hi! I'm starting my three day drive to Florida tomorrow so I probably won't be only much until at least Friday night (possibly not until Monday, if I arrive too late to get the cable turned on before the weekend). Though I guess I can always check a few things on my phone if I have to. It's gonna be a long drive (around 32 hours) but that's not too horrible spread over three days and I'll have my MP3 player (complete with a couple new books on tape) to listen to on the way.

Hey!
Going to edit my Philippines/Japan log a little more, then watch some scary movies with the family! Hope everyone's enjoying their summer so far!

Hi! Got my stiches out and did my first day of driving. It all went pretty well, except for supper (Taco Bell can be pretty decent, but the one near my hotel is not). Anyway, I had a two hour time change and I want to get an early start tomorrow so I can't stay online long.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
Soooo I've probably mentioned that my laptop's monitor died, so I've been using an external one mounted on a stool next to my bed. That montior decided it'd be a fun idea to die as well.... luckily, we apparently had yet another spare monitor lying around the house, so after some digging for the correct cord, I'm back to my strage set up (seriously, my room has an interesting configuration, what with reaching the proper outlets and all. It's even more interesting when I hook up the scanner to my laptop) with a slightly smaller monitor. However, this one doesn't randomly spaz out and give everything a yellow tint, which is definitely a plus.
Anywho, I'm heading out on a college road trip in a week to check out schools in NY and PA and maybe some other nearby states... if, for any reason, anyone has any schools that they'd suggest to me (my interests are computer science and engineering.... though that could change any moment, but it seems like it's what I'm going for), that'd be cool. Still trying to figure out this whole "getting into college" thing.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I drove for around 14 hours today. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (fortunately, my MP3 player managed to last the entire time). And, on the plus side, I've only got around 6 1/2 hours left for tomorrow, which means I'll arrive in time to get my keys, activate the cable, and do some shopping before everything closes.
As for schools, the university I went too (http://www.UAT.edu) is great for computer and tech stuff, but since you seem to be focusing on the East coast, Arizona is probably a bit far away. If you happen to include Florida in your trip, let me know and maybe we can meet up sometime.

Hey, UAT is the college I'm looking into! Anything in particular I should know about it?
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I'd be glad to tell you whatever you want to know about UAT, I got both my degrees there and am friends with lot of faculty members. First off though, it'd help if I knew what degree you're interested in.
If you haven't realized it yet, I made it Florida and got into my apartment without any problems. Well, mostly, my cable TV box doesn't seem to be working so I'll need to get it replaced on Monday (since they aren't open on weekends). But other than that things are good. The internet is working fine and I managed to get a bed, cheap couch, and TV today. Even managed to get a little bit of unpacking done. But only a little. I'll hopefully finish with that tomorrow (if I don't sleep too late) and then try and get my shopping done on Sunday or Monday. I still need a desk, computer chair, table, TV stand, a couple of lamps, more food, and some misc stuff. Once I'm totally done setting up, I'll snap some pictures to put on PV.

Hey...!
It's good to hear that you're settling down nicely.
Ughh, I hope you don't find any spiders crawling 'round there though. *paranoid* *Has started to hate spiders extremely*
Lately I have been seeing spiders everywhere in my house. Just now I saw a spider crawling up my wall. In the past I was told to kill a spider with anything in your reach at the moment.
As a result I always keep a bowling pin handy. ...I don't even remember how I got this bowling pin.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Moi,
A...A bowling pin?...All I have to say is: Best. Weapon. Idea. EVER.
I've recently been getting a slight fear of flies. Whenever I'm waking up and thinking about sleeping a bit longer, one of those little mosters starts buzzing over my head just to get me out of bed. I think the reason I try to get out as fast as I can is because flies sound a whole lot like bees. And, believe it or not, I have a terrible fear of them. (Even though I haven't gotten stung by one in my life...)
I have recently gotten quite addicted to Guns N' Roses' song "Welcome to the Jungle". How did I stumble upon this song, you may ask? A week or so ago, I was flipping through a few channels and I saw the Vh1 had "The Top 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs" playing, and, of course I wanted to check this out. The #1 greatest hard rock song they chose was the same song I have gotten addicted to. All I have to say about it is, awesome. Only bad thing is that, right now, I don't have enough money to get it on my iTunes...
*Sigh* Anyway...It's 6:08am EST, so I'm guessing I should either try to stay up the rest of the day, or sleep until evening...
