Man missed most of the convo cause of work again.

And yeah I can't stand that whole sense of entitlement. My poor sis was going to sit up in her lifeguard stand, and these two tourists tried to sit up there with her. They got mad when she said they couldn't.
I'm not surprised that they make both the drive-in and the theater hectic. They're like whirling dervishes. And the last two days have been a zoo at the pool, since the hurricane swells made it rough so all the Bennys not used to the water decided to chill in the pool and start chicken fights.

That place looks so cool, Saber. There's really no frozen yogurt places around here. The only one I've heard of around here is TCBY, The Country's Best Yogurt. But whether it is truly the best is a claim I have not seen proof of. I do love ice cream though. My favorite around here is Sundaes, cause they have Dark Side of the Moon, my favorite flavor. But sometimes we just bike up to this local place on Main Street that opened up around a year ago. It's pretty good. All the tourist traffic has been helping their business too. I mean, as much as I complain, tourists, even the obnoxious ones, are a vital part of our economy :P.

And Poison, I'm with you on this one. Why they called that classic New York pizza is beyond me.

Hi! My dad, being from New York, impressed on my the superiority of true New York style pizze a long time ago. Consequentially, one of the first things I do upon moving to Florida will be trying all the nearby pizza places until I find a good one. Speaking of Florida, I keep accidentally typing it as Floriday instead. I guess I type the word day a lot lot more often than Florida so it's just kind of a conditioned response...

In other news, if you haven't read today's PV news post, I'm going on a trip. First stop, the UMJC conference in Texas. I don't care a whole lot about the conference, but the rest of my family is going and it makes a good starting point for the next phase of the trip. So I'll be in Texas through Sunday and then it's off to Florida to look for an apartment since I don't really want to drive down there in August with a car full of stuff an no place to live. I suppose I could find a place solely online, but considering the area and it's rather high crime rates and lack of apartment complexes with decent web sites, I don't want to get a place sight unseen.

Oh, as it turned out, the Trigun movie is a lot closer to 90 minutes than 30. Not sure where that movie web site got its time estimate...

And here I was in California thinking Yogurtland was everywhere. >_>
Evidently not.

Konnichiwa. Waking up at 9:30 AM every day during the summer is somehow ridiculously hard. You'd think the heat would chase me out of bed before then, but I can stay asleep 'til 1 in the afternoon if you let me. @_@

So half the summer's gone, and I still don't have a job. This will severly limit the amount of money I have to spend when I get back to Rhodes. On the plus side, not that getting a job is almost nil, I can go on the plan B; volunteer at a hospital.

Also, if anyone of you owuld like to make their own city in Civ World on face book, that'd be swell.

Hey.

As far as pizza goes, I'm partial to Chicago deep dish style. Good stuff. But then there's Bertucci's, which has the BEST BREAD IN THE WORLD, so that place is nice. And I had some good pizza the other day at a place on Dartmouth's campus that I can't remember the name of, but it was wicked good flatbread pizza. I guess I like a variety of types. Mmm. Pizza.

Apparently, a looong time ago (as in, when I was alive, but before I could use the remembering part of my brain), they used to have a TCBY downtown, according to my pa, but that died a while ago.

Sooo, super busy this week, for some reason. I never get to just go home from work this week... I've always got somewhere else to be. Ugh. Feels like school. However, I'm leaving for camp on Saturday, so that should be plenty of relaxation time! Saturday can't come fast enough....*shakes fist at work*

Oh, and today was 7/11, so 7-Eleven (the convenience store) had free slurpees! Granted, they were tiny, but it tasted SO good after my softball game in the 95-degree-ish weather. I kind of melt in the heat. It's not pretty.

Hi! Chicago deep dish is good too, but New York pizza is my favorite.

Anyway, I made it to Texas without any problems. Really nice hotel here. Too bad internet is $15 a day. I've noticed that (in the US anyway), it's a general rule of thumb that, the fancier the hotel, the more they charge you for internet (in cheap hotels, it's usually free). Fancy hotels also tend to have fewer TV channels... On the bright side, my dad is paying (he can call it a business expense).

Hey.

So, bombings in Mumbai. Since my friend was there, I was a little freaked out, but she's fine. However, when trying to decide where to go to dinner, she almost chose to go a location that was close to one of the bombings... she said she was just leaving dinner (at some other resturant) when the bombs went off, apparently, so it's kind of terriftying to think of what might have happened had she chosen to go eat dinner at the other location. I'm not the most religious person, but whenever something terrible happens, I always turn my eyes skyward and shoot out some prayers. It's not much, but I guess I feel like I'm doing something. So, anyways, my prayers are with the families of the people who were killed in the blasts, as well as with the ones who were injured.

Other than that... work is boring. Part of me can't wait for the week to be over (and that part of me would be most of me, since I'm on vacation next week), but the other part is like "nooo, don't wish for summer to go by fast! You're supposed to be on vacation ALL the time! If it goes by, then you're in SCHOOL again, and you don't want that!" Plus, no access to a comp for a week means that my friends in England and India might as well have dropped off the face of the earth since I can't text them and will have no other means of contacting them. At first, that didn't bug me too much, but the bombings have kind of left me paranoid and skitish. Ah well.

Hi! I finally finished 000 in Dissidia! Though I still have to farm AP and KP for a while so I can max out my favorite characters and get them the gear I want. And then there's the labyrinth...

Hey all.

Lately I have been busy working. "What on Earth could a lazy 14 year like Puyon be so busy with during the summertime?" Well, friends, that's simple. I'm just in a productive mood for once. Weeee. That said, I may disappear for awhile. Sadly enough, I've been coming back hear and then, but finding myself being unable to type something that didn't sound horribly stupid. Apparently, this happens to me on any forum or social thing I have access too, so, I may be lurking in that sense.

Moi,

Ahh...Ahhh...Ah-Ka-Choo!! *sniff* Ugh...allergy season. Lucky me.

Anyways, I've had an interesting week. An air show was going on last week and the weekend in my town. Yesterday, a few F-18s or something to that avail flew quite low and close to my house! Very loud, but extremely awesome. The reason I wasn't at the air show was because of my allergies and this blasted heat wave. Darn my naturally low body temperature...There was a bit of a downpour earlier today, but that's it. It dried up pretty quickly and now it's quite humid.

Hmm...other then that, not much going on. I've just been inside with a fan near me, playing Animal Crossing: WW, listening to the recent political things going on, occasionally arguing with the TV. A pretty normal summer day for me.

Hi! I made it to Florida ok and I have internet. Got a lot done today. The apartments here in Lake City aren't horrible but aren't great either. There's a nice place around half an hour away though. That means I'd have a bit longer commute to work, but it also means I'd be close to a city with decent shopping and restaurants, so that's a plus. I'll probably be making my final decision tomorrow after a little more looking around.

Hi!

This sums up what I did 10 minutes ago: "Huh, I forgot to check Pebble Version for an update." *goes to PV* *Sees guest comic that was made during KOTF* "Hahahaha, I remember that." *quickly leaves page, for some reason feeling embarrassed.*
I guess that confirms that even something I made 4 months ago can scare me a little. *shiver*

Huh, I guess that I forgot how to make longer posts.

Hi! Saw all the major sites in Gainesville today. The museum has a rather amazing butterfly house. I might post some pics with Friday or Monday's PV update.

Hey Josiah, you wouldn't happen to tell us what college you'll be teaching at, would you?

Hey.

I'm back from camp! And not much seems to have happened, so I think I'll just go to sleep. Which I just spelled "slepe." Yeah, I think sleep is a good idea.
