Welcome back, Opal!

Today was a good day, but I have to go soon for a school board meeting recognition.

Peace out!

Hi! Whoa, Opal, it's been ages! We were actually talking about you a week or two back and wondering where you've been.

Hey!

Overall, not a really good school week, wasn't a good way to end the Friday either... Also, a fellow trackmate busted open his knee, so I got out of practice early today. It was not a fun sight to see...

Peace out!

Greetings!

Internet was out for a few days, though I went to other places for internet, I only had time to go on sites that I really needed to check, and places for my research paper.

Anywho, Spring Break started today. My teacher said that we don't have to do anything for the Research Paper over the break. So yay! Freedom!

Hey.

April vacation started today for me, too... but it doesn't feel like it. I'm so stressed out right now. One of my friend's mom's just had a major surgery, and she's bedridden, and I'm worried about her, and I tried to express that to my friend and he was really curt and snappy with me and that just kind of left me irritated... and still worried. And then my other friend's mom was driving and apparently she started sweating and feeling really awful so she pulled over and my friend's dad went and met up with her (thank God for cell phones) and they called an ambulence and she's in the hospital now.... so we had to pick my friend up from tennis and bring her to her house in lieu of her parents, and she seemed a bit shaken, and I wish I had been able to stay with her because I'm worried about her, too. And I really want to know what's going on with her mom 'cos I'm worried about her, too... agh. I just want everything to turn out okay and I'm absolutely zero help and I hate it.

And then I've got SO much work to do over break... Awesome.

O-Opal! You're not dead! I think I might be, though. I smell bad, and I don't want to move... yeah, I'm probably dead. Ugh.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! I'm almost done with job applications, though I'll need to do some followups afterwards and there's some other things I should work on as well. I'm also starting to get ready for Passover, since it starts Monday night.

Moi,

Been gone for a while...yeah...I don't rally have an excuse this time. I was just playing Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy, for a long time...and sleeping...for a long time...

I was hoping that for Spring break, the Nor'east would get some warmer temperatures. Yeah, so much for that. We're back to late winter temperatures. Gahhh.....What I would give for a nice 65-70'F day...with no gloomy clouds...and a slight breeze...and a low pollen count...*Goes to happy place where all of that is happening*.....*falls asleep*

Hey.

Hallo from Virginia! I've been hearing how it's cold back in good ol' New England... but it's shorts weather here! Today, we went to Busch Gardens.... which was an absurd amount of fun. Going back on Thurs since a season pass is the same price as a 2-day ticket... which is barely more expensive than a 1-day ticket! Anywho, rode on Alpengeist and the semi-new (I say semi-new since it came out a few years ago but we haven't been to the park since it came out) Griffon.... which was EPIC! I heart roller coasters so freaking much.

Ugh, trying not to think about all the homework I've got, though. Just wanna enjoy the fact that I had a ridiculous amount of fun today at Busch Gardens.

Hey!

Welcome to my state, Saber! Busch Gardens is amazing, glad you're enjoying it there! P.S Alpengeist is awesome, too!

Have a tonload of homework tonight, and over the rest of the week, and then spring break... -.- Bummer. Is going offline for a while to focus on this stuff.

Peace out!

Moi,

Ugh, Why is the Historical Fiction book I want to read not actually considered "Historical" Fiction? (By that, I mean I really wanted to read "All Quiet on the Western Front") Ahh well. I guess I'll settle for "April Morning".

So, yeah. Spring Break, and I'm freezing in the good old Nor'east. Well, that might also be from the fact that it's 11:30pm here, but either way. Normally, I'm pretty good with the cold, but when it's suposed to be warm out, it does get to be a bit of a bother. The cold makes it hard to sleep as well...

Anyway, in other news: Reading webcomics and working on some new sprites for my arty stuff.
EDIT: (1:39am) And a THUNDERSTORM!!! Weeeee!

Hi! The Passover seder went well. We even had 10 plagues themed cupcakes, er, rice crispie treats, since you can't eat real cupcakes on Passover.

Now it's back to work on other stuff... Though follow up letters and a lot of the other things I want to get done don't require a ton of attention so I can probably watch TV or something when I'm working on them. Which is cool since I've got the first episode of Game of Thrones and I finally started watching Madoka.

I love that coaster soooo much :D We go to VA every April break to visit relatives... if April break lines up with Easter, then Busch Gardens is open the whole week and we just party there.

I read All Quiet for school... it really wasn't anything exciting. I didn't like it too much. Just another story about a guy depressed during a war.

So, I visited University of Virginia today! The campus is BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely gorgeous. But, out of state applicant... low chances. Like one kid per year gets accepted to UVA from my high school. Plus, there are lots of other colleges I'm interested in. Need to go take tours.... Whee! College!

Hi! I saw a fox running around outside the other day. That's pretty rare since they usually don't come out in the open around here. Too many houses and people.
