"Oh? What's this? Shadows of Souls? You do realize stepping into my territory is practically giving your Shadow of Souls to me, right? SOUL-"

"Hold it! I'm turning HIM over to you, but if you dare try to do anything to me I'll kill you before you can..."

"I get it!"

*Picks nose* "BURIED TREASURE!!"

"...Do I even WANT him?"

"No. Bye!" *Teleports away*

"Friends?" Opal got little confused "So I'm consindered a friend now?" She already returned Ram to his card, aware of the Djinim on her head, her hands burned as the card touched her heands, letting it drop to the ground "Djinim..."

"Well, you are a considered a friend since you are human, and you know that Mr. Comic Relief Silver guy well. Yomikko explained. Opal bit her lip

"I just want to see Silver again...and tell his parents he's...alive." She wiped away a singel tear "But I'll do ANYTHING to see him again, anything." She informed, grabbing Djinim from her head into her arms like it was her own oddly

"Mistake? Please. You're alone and you lost the power of the zodiac shards. All you have is your monsters. You could merge but without Virgo you can't become Ultima Rainbow and none of your others forms are strong enough to defeat me."

"Tch. You disapoint me. I would have thought my clone would be smarter." *Josiah calmly surveryed his opponent.*

"What?!?"

"To put it simply, this is a fight you can't win. Even if, by some fluke, you defeat me you've still lost. If you kill me, then what? Hellion and his minions will eventually find and destroy you. And if you try merging with me into a heart's form I'll be the one in control."

"You fool! Only us Shadows can control the Heart's Forms!" *Hi-a-osie was looking paniked.*

"You know that's not true. When Jeff merged with Gallo he was the one calling the shots. I've figured it all out now. Controlling a heart's form is a battle of wills. The dark shrines help but only to a certain extent. Shauni was unsure of herself after the deaths of Jeff and Sutra, that's how she was taken. Neo was still trying to cope with what was happening and his place in our group, and Silver was merely caught off guard. But you'll never catch me off guard and I know for a fact that my will is stronger."

"How, how can you be so sure?"

"The fact that you even asked that question proves my point. You have no goals, nothing to strive for, nothng to hope for. Because of that you'll never be able to defeat me."

"Liar!!!" *Hi-a-osie screamed in rage.* "I can defeat you, become a heart's form, and use that power to destroy Hellion!!!"

"And then what?" *Josiah waited patiently but there was no response.* "Do you see know? You have no goals, no life, except to defeat a handful of people. And after you achieve that you have nothing left. I don't fight simply to win. I'm fighting to protect this world and it's people. And most importantly, I'm fighting for my friends. I want to keep them safe and live together with them. I'll make a life for all of us! Myself, Jeff, Silver, Shauni, David, Neo, and Virgo." *He smiled as he said Virgo's name.*

"ENOUGH!!!" *A gigantic sword, dark as the blackest night sky appeared in Hi-a-osie's hands.* "I don't care what you say! I'll show you how strong I am!!!"

((Uh, I was just trying to leave a moment of suspense. And I post every day, so 'waiting for me' is kind of ridiculous. Oh well, this'll work.))

"God, this one sure is disfunctional..." Daku said. He then called Hellion. "Yo Hellion, what should I do with him?"

"Bring him to me. He seems to be the strongest of the group, but once done with him, he'll be the weakest."

"Understood".

"I need to lure the group to me by any means nessecary. I can't afford them to destroy the Dark shrines. Manja might be able to give me light powers, giving me a better variety of magic."

"Okay then." Daku walked over to Silver and pulled him down into the shadows. When emerging, he was in Hellion's lair.

"Excellent." Hellion walked over to Silver and reached into his pocket.

Suddenly, Silver's hand just shot up, and grabbed Hellion's. "You're not taking Manja."

"HOW DARE YOU!" And like that, Daku drew a sword and did the most horrible thing he could have done...Cut off Silver's left wing and arm.

..."Holy Fudge crackers." And he fell over.

"Wow, um...didn't expect that."

"Is he back in control or something?"

"Must be." Hellion then reached his hand in Silver's pocket and took Manja. "Ohh ho ho, you are mine. Daku, extract Rustie from this fool now."

"Yes sir. SPIRIT SEPERATE!" A cold shot of spirit essence shot into Silver's body, and pulled out Rustie.

"Good, now lock him in the vault with Gallo."

"Yes sir." He then walked over to a vault, but instead of Gallo being there, there was a ROM card there, entitled 'Gallo'. The Shadows of souls had been turned into monsters.

*Before Hellion could pocket the card, it floated up in the air then returned to Silver's hand.* "Guess the card will chose who it wants to be with. Ha!"

"Quiet or I'll remove your other arm!"

"You can remove my arms, legs and spleen but I'll never surrender!"

"Uh... What?"

"Heh, saw it in a movie once."

((Hum, looks like I fogot a messge to send. Ya, I forgot to tell you Pokchu that Silver keeps his god powers to help restore and defend the shrines. Just lock Silver up in a dungon or somewhere.))

NeoZanther steped out of the shadows. "Well, he might be the strongest right now of us shadows but he could have some use with that God power if he is made to obay Master. Unlike the rest of the Shadow of Souls, I don't have any intentions of trying to defeat you. In fact, I want to help you with your plan of escape. And by giving you Rustie, part of it is done. You have Silver. Just store him somewhere for now. I have a plan on getting you the rest of them in return that you keep me the way I am and try not to interfear too much. Just slow them down and wear them out, as that will help in capturing.

And if you like, I'll go after the God Monsters and give you some of thier power if I am successful. "

And with the help of Raquza Zanther restored Rustie's body back to normal.

"I'll do my part if you give me the chance. Also, how does the Zodiac Vergo sound to you. I'll even try and get her for ya. I'll find a way."

((Just for reference Neo, you won't be able to capture Virgo once I rejoin the main team cause my character wouldn't let you. And, while I did give my ok for her capture before I rejoin, I have a trick or two up my sleeve if she is captured. So watch your back :D ))

*Hi-a-osie charged recklessly, his jagged blade flashing through the air as he swung, but Josiah easily stepped aside and drew his own sword, parrying the attack. At the same time, he stuck out his foot, sending his shadow sprawling on the floor. Hi-a-osie screamed incoherrently as he jumped back to his feet and charged once more. This time Josiah ducked beneath the attack and brought the flat of his blade into Hi-a-osie's back, knocking him down once more.*

"Don't you see now?" *Josiah asked as his opponent struggled to his feet.* "You have nothing except anger and hate and that blinds you. I don't even need my monsters or transformations to beat you." *Hi-a-osie attacked again and for a moment their blades flashed back and forth. Suddenly Josiah lashed out, cut a long gash down the shadow's arm, and jumped back.* "You should be glad I don't want to become a heart's form. At least you won't live as a prisoner in your own body. But I'm not going to just kill you either. You have power, power I can use to help my friends."

"Will you SHUT UP?!?" *He-a-osie fired a large black beam towards Josiah.*

*Josiah met the attack with the zodiac sword, the swirling darkness vanishing as it struck the blade.* "You see, when I was in the library I found a book that talked about this sword. These notches were placed in it to hold the zodiac shards but that the blade's true powers were long forgotten. This sword can absorb the power of others and give that power to its user. That's how it was able to channel the power of the zodiac shards, by stealing tiny pieces of their power. That book taught me how to use the sword's power." *Hi-a-osie launched more attacks but Josiah merely used the sword to absorb them.* "There, it should be ready now." *Holding the blade infront of him, Josiah closed his eyes and concentraded as the sword began to glow. Hi-a-osie attacked again and again but everything simply vanished before striking its target. Suddenly there was a flash and Josiah opened his eyes.* "It's time." *He shot forward.*

*Seeing him coming, Hi-a-osie brought up his own sword to meet the charge, summoning all his power. His blade shattered as it collided with the zodiac sword. His mouth opened in a silent scream as the hot steel cut through his body. As Josiah skidded to a halt, what remained of the shadow fell to the floor and disintigrated.*

*Josiah stood there calmly as he felt the tremendous power flowing into him from the sword. When it was finished he sheathed the blade, took one step towards the door, then collapsed onto the hard stone as everything went black.*

((A couple things. First, leave my character alone a little longer, I'll be wrapping up my little side-story in another post or two. Second, I didn't merge with Hi-a-osie, I stole his powers and killed him. He's dead, the power is in me, not the sword, and it can't be taken away from me since it's part of my own body now. Finally, don't have me absorbing anyone's power with the sword once I rejoin. There are some issues with the abosrbtion technique that I'll talk about in my next post.))

Shauni and Virgo had finaly maded it back to the others, but the dangure had already past. And orquared silence had befallen the group,
Its lay to yomikko to tell them that Daku had gotten away with silver, and it seemed that Neo Zanther was working for him and Hellion

Shauni threw herself to the ground, her hands clasped over her head, she was frustrated, and was still finding it difficult to hand it.
The group gathered around her, when Josiah was not around they usualy tured to either her or Jeff for guidence, but Jeff was himself becide himself

She looked up, seeing there expecting faces, waiting for leadership....
She waited for the orquared question, the one that ment she could not wollow in self pitty
"What do we do now?"
Shauni tured away from David
"I dont know....."
"You must know...your....you know"
Shauni looked up at him angry
"I dont have all the answers...no wonder we all keep craking...everyone always depends on one person to lead them...well, I quite"
She stood up, she was having another 'moment'

Yomikko walked over to her, this time insted of gong along with shauni she did something she never imaged she would ever do, her own frustration taking over

She slaped Shauni, as hard as she could, knocking her to the floor
"Pull yourself together! You cant quite, you Shauni are vital....you have no idea what you will have to do later! Get a grip!"
Shauni was suprised "W-What are you talking about! Me? Vital???"
Yomikko tured away
"I came here to tell you something, I was waiting for the right time, but I guess there will never be one...so I'll just say it...Shauni, Codo had found something out while you where of to face Moen, about a mysteius creature more powerful them him. But he found out something... you are a gateway....a gatway for that evil to make itself free...an evil that we have records of but can not find where he is bond....you are his way here...because you are a part of him"
Shauni looked at her, like she was not suprised
"I already know....."
Yomikko looked away, horror on her face

Shauni stood up
"I know everthing already...about the bonus boss Sutra had pland...like FF10's Penance, a creature even more powerful that moen...an idea removed....but not delted"
Shauni began to pace around, looking almost distant as she went on
"The fourth God monster.....I know because I have part of his data within my coding...it is where my power of area manipultion stems...he is all elements...not raindow...ALL elements...he has no weakness....and his name....his name is Bowen. I was a little suprised when Emiel clamed it was a user interface program Sutra was working on....I guess it lyded to him...but now I know why he wants me...to compltete his data...to open the gate...she he can be unleahced"
She looked around at the others
"Well...you can rest easy, Hellion does not know about Bowen, Unicoco never told him..."

"While he DOES make a decent Jester, I can't have to worry about him amking a run for it... Daku, lock him in the Dungeon and keep an eye on him! If all goes well I can lure the others to his rescue..."

"Right!"

"Can I have my arm back now?"

"You want it?! Ew..."

"Well, yeah, I got kinda attached to it over the last 15 years."

"Fine, take the arm, all it'll do is smell bad anyway..."

"Ok, We're going now! God this is disgusting..." *Daku pulled Silver down a hallway and threw him in a room resmebling a Jail Cell, slamming the bars so he couldn't escape. Unable to stand up due to his lack of arm, Silver just sat there in the corner and did the one thing he knew could tick anyone off... for two hours on end...*

"Nobody knows the trouble I've seen! Nobody knows my sorrow..."

"That's IT! I can't take it anymore! JUST SHUT UP!"

"Or what?"

"I'LL... I'll... RIP YOUR BRAIN OUT WITH MY BARE HANDS!"

"You don't have to be so gorey about it. Man, that's just nasty."

"Then SHUT UP!"

"Why don't you?"

"Because I'm not the one making all the noise!"

"Well I'm not the one screaming on the top of my lungs, now am I? You really should keep it down, I'm pretty sure it's Hellion's nap time."

"You little..." *He began to open the door, prepared to completely demolish what was left of their hostage.*

"...Oh crap. It's a good thing I'm right handed! Go Heune, False Hypnosis!" *He called the little bug from its card, Heune spredding its wings and hypnotising Daku.* "Well, that worked. I guess this is my chance... Spindice, use Burrow!" *Spindice began to dig a hole through the floor, struggling to get through the top layer of rock but after that quickly decending.* "And they think I'm stupid..." *He slid down the hole, pulling a rock over his head so Hellion wouldn't know that was how he got out.* "Oops, almost forgot my arm!" *He climbed back up, realizing the door had been left open which would definitely help him; Hellion might think he had escaped through the door and was roaming the castle. He grabbed his Arm (XD) and pulled the rock back over his head, following Spindice down the hole to freedom*

Opal heard Shauni telling about the fourth God monster card "So there's a fourth one now? Didn't even know there was one!" She admitted.

"Well, your Silver caught one of them, Manja"

"What? SILVER? But...how could he catch a God monster? SILVER?" Opal blinked, things were moving too fast too soon.

"It's true..." Shauni reached for her hands, but pulled back as her hands burned on contact "What the-"

Opal gulped "Um..maybe I should tell you something...ever since I came to Orca, my hands...they seem to burn who ever I touch, but i don't feel the pain. The only time i feel the pain is when I touch a card, excepts Rams card, and I don't know why..." Opal wiped away a tear "I just want to find Silver so i can go back home..."

"Wait, you came here only to find Silver?

"Yes...for a year we thought he was dead....a year he put us threw pain...if I ever see him again... She couldn't finish her sentence

*Eventually, Spindice dug through the surface and emerged in the middle of a forest* "I'M FREE!!! ...And decidedly right handed! I guess I should try to find those other people now... if I'm lucky they might have ACTUALLY missed me! And if I REALLY want to push my luck, maybe they... WORRIED about me!" *Then, a random girl NPC walked by, saw Silver, then screamed and ran away* "...Or maybe I should try to put my arm back on... before I die of blood loss or something. Phht, like that could happen to the Comic Relief."

*Meanwhile... The Hypnosis had worn off and a certain henchman found himself in a certain dungeon expecting certain doom* "...Aw crap... Huh? Where'd that Silver guy go? ...Oh... CRAP!!! Hellion's gonna kill me! But if... How far could he have gotten with one arm? If I get him back before Hellion finishes his nap... er, comes to check on the hostage, I'll get to keep my arm! I've seen this before... he couldn't go through the gate, he would have had to step on me. And the only other way out is the floor... aw crap..."

((Hellion takes no naps. And stop taking advantage of my character! Just post what you have to say, and let me respond. I POST EVERY DAY. I swear, he's ruining my plans. ;-;))

"God, what to do..." Daku thought. Suddenly, he noticed something on the soul tracker. "That's wierd...Hi-a-osie isn't on the tracker. He then noticed his essence within Josiah. "Oh crap." He then thought *Wait, if I can just kill him...do I have that kind of power??? God, that Rainb-Oh, ho ho ho." He then thought of a brilliant lure. "Silver isn't good enough...That's it. I shall imprison the ones they love the most! As for Hellion...he must destroy Neo at the same time. I must seperate them and take the power of their Shadows of souls". And with that, he stuck a knife through a picture of Shauni. "Your essence...your heart...Unisha. Will be mine." He cackled madly. He then thought the tunnel Silver had used was a fit for finding them in a snap, so he buried under the rock and through the created tunnel.

When he emerged, he quickly shouted "INFERNO SNIPE!" His eye-balls rolled around madly, and locked onto Shauni's Heart, and brain. He then fired.

"WHA?!"

"I won't let you die."Suddenly, Shauni's heart glowed purple, and alternately coming out from her body was Unisha. She then grabbed the Inferno Snipe attack with her bare hands. "Kill her and you perish."

A big grin just shot across Daku's face, and he suddenly yanked back on the attack, and generated a shadow portal at the same time.

"WHAAAA!!!" Shauni was slowly being pulled away from Unisha, but suddenly, David dived in.

David then pulled out a large sword and stabbed Daku in the back with it.

"Ah...Damnit..." He then used shadow heal. *God...this power...I can't keep using it...the whole plan will fail if I die...Ungh...* He got to his feet.

But when Daku was stabbed, the Inferno Snipe attack was withdrawn, and the back-lash had shot Unisha into Shauni. Suddenly, there was a black aroma encircling Shauni, and out came a form they never thought to see again.

I'm back.

*Ugh...I got to run...the consequences will be too vital if I die...* Daku then opened a shadow portal underneath himself, and fell away.

"Sh-sh-shauni?"

Heh heh heh...

"Thiiiis isn't good."

((I know he doesn't take naps, it was a joke! Must I get the Donkey of Sarcasm out here? And I even tried to make it so you could catch Silver, the way you did it you must have walked right by him... But it works for me. And uh, didn't Unisha die or something?))

*Silver continued to walk, Spindice still out of its card.* "It might help if I had some idea where I was going..." *Spindice rolled its eyes, knowing that Silver had Several monsters that could fly* "Yeah, isn't this great? Just you, me, my arm and the great outdoors..." *By now, Spindice was embarrassed at the sight of its owner* "Yeah... it's the best... what am I saying?! There's no one here, we're all alone, we have no idea where the fudge crackers we're going and I only have one arm! If only Tashi were here..." *Spindice Thinking: Then let him out of the card, numbskull!* "I just had a great idea! Why don't I let him out of the card?" *Again Spindice rolled his eyes*

Unisha staggered for a moment, and then fell to the ground, evaperating into coding and disapereing

((Unisha died already...Shauni killed her when they unmerged.....but I like where this is going so i'll fill in the plot hole))

"Its is I...Unicoco"
"b-but you died....I mean..... Shauni kiiled Unisha...I saw it!"
Unicoco smiled menisgnly
"Shauni is different from you...when Unisha merged with shauni, there data fewed...creating me. What you saw was Shauni's soul becoming the dominent one in the hearts for... the data from unisha disintergreated, but retured to her body....you fools, this is the dark Realm...the place where dead data guess. Where was she going to go! And now, Unisha's data is resotred...restoring me!"

She flew into the air, her whole ora a dark purple
"All Daku has done is unleash my fury!"
She flew high into the area
"And now I know what I must do! I must Unleash Bowen! The greatest God of them all! And destry hellion, destry Daku! ANd destry you!"
"Shauni no! You won before! Come back to us! You can fight this!"
Unicoco fired a sanke bite attack at jeff, one he just missed
"Mwhahahaha! I will show you! I will show you the true terror of Hellfire! The true meaning of evil!"

Just as she was about to open the portal to Bowen's sealed Realm, Emiel Appred and fired Zodaic attacks at her
Unicoco was knocked back, her portal not complete
She threw down a screahced so loud everyone fell to the floor

Suddenly Yomikko stood up
"Shauni!" she yelled
Unicoco instanly stopped, and staired at Yomikko, almost content
"Shauni....remember....remember before Orca...the cold lonly darkness you told me about...if you do this...that is what will become...the darkness again"
Unicoco folated down and landed softly
"Whats the difference...I am cold now....I feel dead..."
With that she disapred into a dark cloud and the smoke had cleared she was gone

Unicoco stepped forward.
She stood in a large dark room, a huge stone figure stood before here...it was a large carved snake with the wings of beautiful bird
"Bowen...you are the only thing I understand now...you know my suffereing...father...will you help me?"
"Shauni...you are a part of me...and I a part of you....even if you had opened the dark portal...I could not have travil threw...I need a body in your realm...and i have chosen my host"
"Who my lord...."
"The boy Josiah...."

"FREEDOM! Sweet, sweet freedom!"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot you could talk..."

"Probably because you left me in that acursed card so freaken long!"

"It's not my fault I merged with an evil clone of myself and became a braindead monkey that followed this other guy who planned to take over the world around as his idiotic henchman!"

"...Right... Wait, you BECAME a braindead Monkey? And what the crap happened to your arm?!"

"Uh... it died."

"Ok... and what happened to all your other little human friends?"

"That's what I'm trying to find out. The Zanther guy kept opening these weird portals and sucking me threw and man it was cool! Er... but I never knew where I went."

"And let me guess- that's where I come in."

"It is? Oh yeah, it is! You can fly up and see where we are! ...And find everyone else!"

*Rolls eyes*

((EDIT: Ok, I've got a picture for Manja... yeah, it's a yu-gi-oh card, I know. One of my favorites for unknown reasons... so it's nothing special in Yu-gi-oh, but at least it looks cool. And it's kinda perfect since it's BLACKland FIRE Dragon and Manja's a Fire/Dark type...
