Coming soon! Well, the demo is coming soon. Not sure how long it will take to finish the entire game. But the demo is finished and should be up for download later this week as soon as I get around to finishing the web-site (got a couple of school projects that need to be done first). But, while you're waiting for the demo, you can check out the teaser image.

If you didn't know, this is the game I've been working on over the past year or so. It got slowed down a lot due to my extremely busy Spring semester but ramped back up during the summer thanks to an awesome new programmer and more free time on my part. Then, as you may have already known from the Saying Hi thread, my team and I spent a ton of time on it lately so we could get the demo ready to enter in the Independent Games Festival Student Showcare contest.

As an update... All the sprite sets are done except for two, which I'm procrastinating on because I've been busy, they'll be a big pain in the neck, and they won't really be needed until most of the other stuff is done. I've got people working on the remaining sound effects, music, and high quality art and it's coming along...though slower than I'd like. Unfortunately, my programmer got a new job and was forced to stop working on Car Washer because of it (literally, they had a non-complete clause) but I've got another one to replace him. So yeah, the game is still coming along, though a little slowly, and I do hope to release the full game before too long.

The Car Washer demo won 3rd place in the Best Game for a Latop catagory in a big Intel game contest!!! They haven't officially announced it yet (I'll post a link when they do) but I just got the e-mail. I won $1500 (which I'm putting towards getting the game done ASAP) and some marketing stuff. Now if I can just get the game finished and up for sale I may be in business...

When it comes out (which would be soon if my programmer could find some free time and my sound guy could get his act together) it'll be sold over the internet as a downloadable game, so you should have no trouble getting a copy. It's getting kind of frustrating though. The game has been nearly done for ages but it's gotten hit with so many delays that it just isn't getting finished...

Car Washer will be launching soon! Seeing as it's a pretty unknown indie game and I'm not sure how long it will take to get the online store set up, I'm not going to set a specific date, but the Windows version will be out sometime within the next week or so (with the 360 version following as soon as it gets through the apprival process). In the meantime, check out the new trailer!
