Hey!

Glad you had fun, Saber! My Halloween was kinda boring. I was hoping more trick-or-treaters would come by my house today, but only one came, sadly... Less and less kids are around my neighborhood these days. hehe. How was everyone else's?

Hihi All!

Thanks everyone. ^_^
Aparently there was a Halloween Party in the block of units across from mine. I'm surprised I didn't get woken up by it. Yup, that was my Halloween.

More Studying. ^_^ I'm going back to tafe, Going to do Cirt III and IV in Patisserie and a buisness managment course. it's gonna take about 1-2 years to do that because the patisserie courses are part-time and I'm not sure weather they'll take 6 months or a year to do. Oh well, these things take time.

Hi! I don't really do Halloween. I worked on stuff, did some Halloween quests in Guild Wars, and played Kirby's Epic Yarn for a while. That was about it.

Ah-ha. I had a great Halloween. It is the first year I haven't gone Trick-and/or-Treating. I was at a party with sme older Highschoolers in the Anime club. On guy was dressed up as a Hunter (L4D), another as a Knight in Glittering armor, a...I guess a vapmire...I really don't know...he had a cape....and Skeloton Pirate thing...Either way, It was fun~ Everyone said that I looked like Pyramid head, but without the pyramid thing and giant knife.

I haven't laughed at a scary movie as much as I did last night. It really wasn't the movie, but all of our commentary. You could take the scariest movie you know of, add in some funny commentary, and the movie would be only half as scary as it was. (Truth be told, I was the one makeing a lot of the commentary there.)

Aw man, this Halloween was weak. There were hardly any other trick-or-treaters around, most houses closed up by seven or so, and I saw more bowls on porches than I did people willing to open their doors for a few seconds! I did have good company, at least. I went as Usopp, with Colly as Luffy and Melvin as Chopper. We also hung around with Puyon and a couple other people. If it weren't for the good crowd, it would have been totally depressing.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Well, at least there were bowls that were unoccupied, if I were more greedy than I already am, I would've taken the whole bowl. If it were Melvin, however, people would just give out all of the candy to the cute lil' thing anyways. Chances are, Melvin got more candy than any of us did thanks to the power of cuteness.
Maybe others closed early because a lot of people started earlier, thanks to the weekend, maybe next year will be better because it's going to be on Monday and we have the option to start after school. But it's not just the people that closed early that got me, it was really how a lot of the places I went to in the previous years did nothing awesome. That was as depressing as anything.
But, hey, at least you got your face groped.

Moi,

Don't have much time online right now. I'm (supposed to be) finishing up an English project. It's knida weird though. It involves drawing, one of my favorite activities, but....I just don't feel like drawing right now. I find that almost scary....

Konbanwa.

Right, so I've been pretty busy lately with art school preparation portfolio stuff. That, combined with a renewed fervor for Mabinogi, has left my roleplaying ability at an all-time low. @_@ I plan to fix this sometime soon, but as of right now, I'm just not feeling up to posting. :c Those of you who are wondering where I poofed off to, I'm sorry, and I hope I'll get hit by inspiration soon. ><'

Hi! Looks like another busy day for me due to a combination of e-mails (last minute textbook stuff mostly), baking challah (bread) for services tomorrow, and just working on stuff in general. I might sneak out to go shopping though. I need to get a birthday present for my brother and I've got a couple of coupons that are only good for a few days...

Hey.

My aunt only has a few hours to live... Nothing more to say. I'm taking at least a 1-month hiatus from the forum, the internet to be exact. No, not because I'm pessimistic or suicidial, it's just what I feel God is telling me to do. Now that my aunt will be gone, the fact she has inspired me so much to fulfill my journey of making my family proud, I want to focus on that journey and not to get distracted too much from my favorite things. It may have been in His plan to do this, and I only look at it as another challenge for me to keep moving forward. I just thought the internet, my biggest distraction (no offense) has been getting in the way of doing my duties, so I'm just taking some time off.

Thanks for reading. Again, you guys are the best. I'll see ya in December.

Hi! Wow, I haven't been on in ages now, had to backtrack 6 pages on here :drop: On to catching up:

I haven't seen many musicals, but I do like Les Miserables.
I've lost 6 cats back when I lived in the countryside, most to coyotes (I can't say I hate many things, but coyotes are on the list).
Halloween was pretty fun, a bunch of us went lasertagging in costume (SO FUN) and then we carved pumpkins!
Aw, sorry to hear that Metal. I hope she's at peace, if nothing else.

Also, I made a post called RealityStuck, please give it a glance when you have time!

Hi! Sorry to hear that, Metal. Good luck with your internet hiatus.

Nothing new here. I've got an interivew for a Japan teaching job on Sunday. On the bright side, it's a public school job (which means normal schedules with no weekend work and generally better working environments) in a good location (a town in Chiba, near Tokyo). On the down side, they haven't finalized the job's duration or salary yet so I don't know if those will be any good plus, while going back to Japan for a while would be fun, it probably won't help advance my career as a game designer (it's possible, but it's a very indirect way to go about it). But yeah, we'll see what happens. At this point I kinda need to take what I can get, provided it pays decently. Part of me is hoping for a chance to move back to Japan but another part just wants to take a vacation there and would rather move back to Phoenix or stay here in Colorado (unlikely, due to the lack of game companies in the area).

In other news, I found out my dad decided to be rather cheap with birthday and chanukah presents this year (we went shopping for something for my brother) so if I want a 360 I'll need to pay for it myself (which I can do, though I don't know if I really want to spend the money right now).

Hey.

Very sorry to hear that, Metal. Hope you find what you're looking for.

So, yesterday was UMASS BAND DAY! I was gone from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM with the MARCHING BAND being AWESOME. We drove two hours to UMASS Amherst (home of one of THE best bands EVER) and, when our bus got there (yes... we only have one bus... small band...), a ton of kids from the UMASS band were there, and they started screaming and waving and jumping up and down and we started screaming out the window and me and my friends were shouting "TRUMPET!" and then two girls jumped up and down and pointed at us and were like "TRUMPET?" and we were like "TRUMPET!!!" and they were like "TRUMPETTT!!!" and they ran over and high-fived us from the bus and it was AWESOME! So, what we did, along with like 50 other high school marching bands, is we learned a few tunes (well... received and put in our flipbooks) and we got a spot on the field... there were about 4,000 PEOPLE OUT THERE!!! The field was COVERED and it was AMAZING! They had a different way of calling everyone to attention, which was exciting. For us, it's just "Standby.... Band, ten hut!" but they had "Detail to the ready" which was cute for everyone to start hissing and then "Detail, aten hut!" and EVERYONE shouts "HUT!" which is SO exciting when you have 4,000 people! Then the director calls:
"How are your feet?"
Band: "Together!"
"Stomach?"
"In!"
"Chest?"
"Out!"
"Shoulders?"
"Back!"
"Elbows?"
"Frozen!"
"Chin?"
"Up!"
"Eyes?"
"With pride"
"Eyes?"
"WITH PRIDE!"
"Who's got the best band EVER?!"
"*insert your band name here*!"
We played the songs a few times (after we ran around and met other trumpet by screaming "TRUMPET!" at the top of our lungs), then we went to lunch and got into uniform for the game. All of the bands sat down in the stands, and then we went out to get ready for the halftime show. UMASS did a shortened version of their show (SO AWESOME) and then we ran out there with them AND WERE AWESOME! We got SUCH a loud applause with a standing ovation of AWESOMENESS and there were so many kids and we were so loud and I nailed my part even though it was wicked high and it was INCREDIBLE!

WE GOT TO BE ON TV FOR LIKE 10 SECONDS IT WAS AWESOME!!! The announcer was like "It's band day, and there are 4,000 kids from throughout New England out there!" and it was SO COOL TO SEE IT FROM THAT ANGLE AND SEE EVERYONE COVERING THE FIELD! I was in the 2nd line (riiiight near the front!) about 1.5 steps outside the 25 yard line on Side A... I tried to find me but it was hard with 4,000 KIDS OUT THERE!

I had sooooooo much fun and we were singing the UMASS fight song pretty much forever after.... and then UMASS did their whole halftime show as a postgame show and what's amazing is the majority of the audience stayed for it!! THAT'S JUST HOW AWESOME UMASS IS, PEOPLE ACTUALLY GIVE A CRAP ABOUT MARCHING BAND THERE IT'S AWESOME!

Ahah, that was a long post... sorry, it was just one of the best days ever :D We cheered our hearts out in the audience, too, and UMASS won, which is always fun :D GOOOOOOOOOOO MINUTEMEN!!!!!!!
May the Triforce be with you.

Hi! I just realized that I haven't played a good traditional RPG in a while. I need to rectify this...as soon as I finish Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
