Hi! I enjoyed piano, especially since my teacher let me choose the songs I wanted to work on (Final Fantasy music mostly). At the moment though, I'm horribly out of practice since I've been too busy working on things (master's degree, then job search, and now my book) to practice every day like I used to. I would like to start up again though.

Heh, I used to play piano. Never really got good, as I never had the initiative to practice, but I can play a mean "The Entertainer." Play well enough for my liking, I guess. Not like I'm going to get any breaks in the music world anyway. (I've been a part of three failed garage bands, heh.)

I wonder if Billy Mays talks like that in normal conversations... "HELLO, HOW ARE YOU DOING?" "HAVE YOU TRIED THE HORS D'OEUVRES?" "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I'M NOT YELLING (BUY OXYCLEAN!)."
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

Isn't the guy who replaced him is like Australian or something?
Hi!
I've been watching tv all day! ENGLISH tv! You never really appreciate what you have until you are left without it for awhile... like water, electricity, tv and most importantly, a stable internet connection.

Hi! Ooh, The Entertainer, that's a fun one to play. I used to be pretty good at it but, as I said, horribly out of practice and all that. In other news, there's a BBQ party of sorts tonight, I'm bringing yakitori!

Me? I've always lived in NC... Let's see, originally I lived in Raleigh for about 7 years or so and then we moved to the western mountains and I've just been here...

Hi!
I've been just lazy.. Well, I guess that's just normal, I've been playing RS, DS games, watching tv...
Oh! We had someone make us dinner the other day (the people who drove us from Atlanta, Georgia to my house (about 8 hours!)) and she gave us a loaf of bread... and guess what! It's gluten free~~ ^^ I had a good sandwich for the first time in over a year! I'm just really happy about that ^^ The only depressing part is my parents like to freeze bread so it tastes kinda stale unless you toast it and... it's probably like 10$ a loaf or something ridiculous...
Oh! Josiah, I haven't forgotten about the Wii-ware gift! I'm kinda waiting for my Wii... See, my sister had taken the Wii to her collage to take to Honduras so we'd have it to play but she left it at her place and she has to go get it.. So she left last night and she's gonna come back Sunday so I'll get you something on probably Monday or Tuesday.

Hi!

I'm finally making use of my sushi-making skills. It's been a while since I've even made a simple piece of maki. Oh well, I'll post up a picture of a little bit of my work. May not be perfect-o but it's my best shot. XD Oh yeah, I've been playing the piano for about 8 years. It's only last year I began taking it seriously. However, the main and perhaps reason is so I can play my favorite Queen songs on the piano. lol but then again I do like most songs by pop artists such as Justin Timberlake and Beyonce, both are pretty good.

Hi! I finally go to posting somewhere that isn't my introduction topic!

When it comes to music... I'm not good at judging it. Mainly because I started working as a percussionist in school, I never bothered paying attention to the melody, but instead the rhythm. Even though I want to learn how to play music on something like a piano, I've never gotten to it. *sigh* First of all things I should have said is that I'm a procrastinator.

Not on vacation, my parents decided (on a whim) they wanted to be missionarys for a year (well, two but complication arose....) so yea... but I'm back here now.

Being a percussionist isn't bad. Also, it does require more than just rhythm. You can't exactly make songs with drums alone, though learning does help improve your rhythm. The piano and guitar you can make songs better solo with, though a drummer will make it a lot more fun, though.

The bad thing is, you shouldn't procrastinate when it comes to music. You'll have to be more passionate, but if you just plan on learning an instrument than it's not too big a deal.

I never said that it was bad that I'm a percussionist.... Besides the only band I play for is the band at my school, and they never put me on snare or anything. I actually got things like castanets and stuff. (Un-tan! -shot-)

Ponyo?! I get a nickname within a nickname of my usual username. And now I'm Ponyo! I still need to watch that movie.... -also hides gun that shot Winters and Cyndaquil-

Hi! I'm surprised that can hang out with Colly and Silver and not have seen Ponyo. Definately an awesome movie though that should be no surprise since nearly everything done by Studio Ghibli is.

Anyway... The BBQ was fun. I ending up running the grill, which was fine cause I had to grill my yaki tori anyway. It's the first time I made them but they turned out really well. I did burn through about half the skewers though, so I need to be more careful about that next time.
