Hi! My parents are out of town for the week so I'm taking care of the house and getting ready for the Shavuot service tomorow. And, of course, the meal after the service which is going to involve a whole lot of ice cream. ;-)

hi.
Two things:
One, I graduate day after tomorrow.
2, one of the girl dogs at my house, I think it was Banshee, had puppies a little while ago. I found the two of them yesterday and they are extremely cute! One is a girl and she has a white spot on her head, she's also very friendly. the other is pure black, male and very shy.

Hey.

Glee was awesome today... I've only seen like 6 episodes, but this was my favorite one of those 6. It had: Neil Patrick Harris (automatic win), an auditon for Les Mis, Piano Man, dramatic backstories, Idina Menzel singing, and Idina and Lea dueting on I Dreamed A Dream (AKA one of my favorite songs eveeeeeeer... and it's from Les Mis :D ). So... yeah... good episode :D

And... yeah... my life has just felt really stressful lately... ugh...

Hi! Congrats aura!

Happy shavuot everyone! Even though I'm probably the only one who knows what it is...

Since I was talking about locked game saves the other day, I discovered something interesting while backing up my PS3 saves yesterday. Apparently PS3 save data can be locked (so you can't copy it, just like on the Wii and Gamecube) and, for no apparent reason, Sega and Capcom seem to lock the saves for just about all of their games (though they're the only companies I know of that do it).

I hate game commercials like the new Super Mario Galaxy 2 ones where they show it like real life with kids all happy. It's so stupid, would make me not want to buy the game. The Whomp's Fortress remake looks sweet though.

Um... remember that Nintendo's focus is to appeal to all ages. The easiest way is to grab the kids and keep them loving their series. They know they have all the teens and adults from previous games, so why not grab the kids of this generation?

I saw the boldest couple ever at work today - they were casually walking down the hallway (which wasn't empty or anything) chatting and the guy's arm was around her shoulders and his hand was actually in her shirt! It's crazy, you couldn't even see his wrist :drop2:

Busy work week... 38 hours this week and 42 next week! Getting a stable internet tomorrow though, no more stealing 2mb/s from my neighbors!

Hi! Shavuot went well, I finally finished FFIV The After Years, and, well that's about it. Got various things to work on today, but nothing too exciting.

Omg... That was... brutal... I beat all of Kanto on HG in 9hrs, stayed up till 2:30am last night... I beat the Pokemon League at 22:30 and beat Red at about 32:00... I had to use a few (hundred) rare candies to beat Red though... he was... tough... My team:
Typlosion(?): 85
Ampharos: 80
Pidgeot: 80
Quagsire: 80
Glaceon: 80 (hehe... I couldn't resist~)
and
Dragonite: 85 (the one I caught with my pokewalker before the 1st gym :P)
Elite four was that, but all 80's at 50 and all 85's at 55.
...
I hate spelling Pokemon names...

Hey.

My friend is lying to PurplePrincess (he's also been lying to me for the past few months, but that's besides the point) and he says he's always honest when I can most assuredly prove him otherwise. I can't stand him.

That is all.

Konbanwa.

It took me a long while to beat Red, too, although I grinded my way up to the appropriate levels with gym leader rematches instead of using rare candies. @_@
I also couldn't get my Graveler to survive even one Iron Tail from Red's Pikachu (silly nature decreasing defense D< ), so I finally gave up and traded over a Pokemon from my Pearl Version. As a result, I wound up with:
Machamp (lv70)
Lugia (lv68)
Giratina (lv70)
Ampharos (lv72)
The other two in my team were TM/HM slaves. ._.
My Elite Four team were the above, minus Giratina, and plus a Pidgeot, Graveler, and Gyarados. Completely forgot the levels, but I'm pretty sure they were all at least level 45.

¡Hola!
I didn't know you could re-match gym battles... I would have done that instead XD I hate training and most especially grinding... it's boring @.@ Anyways, I'm letting my sis borrow my DSi to play Pearl since I have no games to beat.. Unless I feel like completing the pokedex... which I almost never do, the only exception is Sapphire... which have over 500 hours of play time (I loved messing around in Honnen XD) and the only pokemon that I couldn't find (spent 100 hours on it >>) was feebas >.< Da...rn him >>'

Power's been out on and off for the past few days, had very limited internet connectivity >> and today, it has rained since noon to... umm 10pm (now) and earlier, it was raining so hard, you had to shout to the person a foot away from you; I couldn't hear myself think!!! >.< It gave me a migraine...

Hi! So far, despite not actually spending much time playing HG (though it'll be my next portable game as soon as I finish Disgaea, which I'm working on now) I've decided that my team will contain Typhlosion, Sentret, Ampharos, and Poliwrath. Seeing as I usually leave my sixth slot open for whatever pokémon I currently want to evolve, that leaves me with one slot left to fill (preferably with something that can learn fly). If it ever comes to the point where I need to grind though...I'll just trade over my ultimate level 100 battle team from Diamond. After you hit around level 60, grinding in Pokémon games takes way too long. I mean really, come the 90's you pretty much have to fight through the entire Elite 4 with a single pokémon just to gain one level. -.- Having to get six pokémon to level 100 twice (since they didn't let you trade between G/S and R/S) was more than enough of that...
