Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Yes we did miss you.
So, Friday. At eight o'clock I stood up...then didn't sit down until 5 am.
It's this fundraiser my school did, the one I was canning for a few months back. Basically for twelve hours we dance and play volleyball and stuff and we can't sit down or sleep (if someone dancing was able to sleep standing up, which I don't think any of us were). I got to leave three hours early though, cause I had to go to the train station to go to NY, go to class, then come home, then go to the mall to buy a prom dress, come home, eat dinner, then I could finally go to bed...after my mom makes me put on my prom dress and shoes to show everyone...I mean really?
Still kinda tired but I'm okay now. Though exhausting, the fundraiser was fun. I'm just gonna chill today.

So, today I watched the Cho Den-O and Decade movie today. Honestly, I was expecting a bit more from the Decade cast here. Their presence in this movie was entirely pointless!
At least Daiki made his screentime amusing though. :)

Hey.
HAI CHEEZ!!
So, the laptop wireless wasn't working before, then I moved 10 feet to the left (AKA to the other, unoccupied bed in my guest room) and I got a wicked weak signal from an unsecured network... and snuck on with my ninja skill. Supposed to be sleeping... but I'm not tired, and now that I gotz internet, I'z happy :)
Tomorrow's our last full day here, though. :(

Hi! Nothing overly exciting going on here. Still working on job stuff and that mystery project (which I'll hopefully get a definite yes or no on soon) and playing FFXIII (farming Adamtoise for money and the stones I need for everyone's ultimate weapons). I'm also reading Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games series. It's pretty good, though a bit of a rip-off of Battle Royal. I also just started watching Penguin Musume Heart, which is pretty funny.

Heya! So I'm in very high spirits, my stoner roommate is on the verge of being kicked out so if he does anything wrong now he could be gone. Also, yesterday I went to the beach here for the first time and besides the ridiculously ice cold water it was really fun! I need to remember to go there more often next year
My last two exams are coming up, so I'm studying away for now, can't wait to be home and free at last!

Bleh. Nothing going on with me at the time. Still waiting for Girla to get her friend code so I can battle and trade with her.

Hi! Still nothing exciting happening here. The companies that interviewed me for game design jobs are taking quite a while decide who to hire so I'm more or less just kinda waiting around to see what happens. I have some backup jobs I could apply to (various game testing and English teaching in Japan gigs) that I'm pretty sure would hire me, but I think they also hire pretty quickly and I'd kinda hate to sign a contract with one of them only to find out a week later than I got accepted for an actual game design job. Not that I mind having less to do, it'd just be nice to have this whole job search over and done with.

Bah, you're only as old as you think you are. I'm three.
Sorry you got a bad roommate Nab. I still barely know mine... But my next year's roommate should be okay, we at least have similar sleep habits. I decided I'd live on campus once more. I'll probably be bored of it in a bit, but I like the zaniness of the dorms. (Or the zaniness of the engineering theme housing I should say.)
Oi. I still have one more midterm before finals... And finals are two weeks away. I almost feel like the final for Physics isn't going to have any newer material than what's on this test.

Hi! I'm cooking Morrocan food today. Also, Right Stuff is having a huge blow-out sale on its bargain bin anime DVDs, which is very tempting...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Heso! Off to Pennsylvania for the weekend to visit family and see a show and stuff. I was supposed to work tomorrow morning, but since we won't be back by then, I asked Colly to cover it for me... but now she's home sick. Hopefully she'll recover come tomorrow, but... either way, I feel really bad about asking her to take the shift now.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.
Weird dream last night... involved Silver and Colly, in a weird sort of way. See, in my dream, through some mad detective skillz of awesome, I suddenly realized that one of my camp friends must actually be Colly (and in the dream, I was right), so then I found out who Silver was (by clicking the little "in a relationship with" button on facebook :P ). Then my friend (who was in love with the person that Colly turned out to be in my dream) wanted to go track Silver down and beat him up... fun stuff :P Then I hung out with PurplePrincess in the library, but we were evacuated because it was under attack and we needed to go to the bomb shelters, but we wanted to play computer games... or something...

Hi! Your dream self has really lousy priorities, Saber. Sure computer games are great and all but, if my town was about to be bombed, I think I'd have more important things to do.

Hey.
My dream self... yeah... is a bit of a... she's... not very good at thinking things through, most of the time :P Last night's dream was... eh. I ended up blonde because my mom forced me to dye my hair, ended up as Galinda in Wicked with PurplePrincess as Elphaba, except two other people ran in and stole our parts. I was playing around on my new laptop (that I apparnetly had...) and practically every other word was underlined with little squgglies. Like... the red squiggly "you spelled something wrong" squiggly, except also in yellow and black. I'd right click on them to see what I had done wrong, chose the correction, then they'd still be underlined. I'd change it again and again and the word went from like "clicker" to "vegetable" by the time I was done.
Life doesn't need to make sense, sense is overrated. Pshhhhhhhhh.
On that note, my dad took me for a driving lesson today. Now THAT'S insane.

IM ALIIIIIIVE!!! Still horribly depressed, but alive and posting here just because I haven't posted here in a while. Um... Stanley Cup Playoffs! Fallout: New Vegas preview!
I just completed Bioshock 2, and here's how I think it compares with the last game:
Bioshock 1:
- Big plot twists
- Far better atmosphere
- Much creepier; more scary moments
Bioshock 2:
- More predictable plot (YMMV as to whether the story is actually better or not)
- Atmosphere isn't nearly as good
- Better combat; being able to use plasmids and weapons at the same time is huge
- Improved hacking
- More "awesome" moments
- Cooler weapons and ammo varieties
- More possible weapon upgrades
- More variety in gene tonics and plasmids
- Better overall gameplay
- More defending Little Sisters while they gather ADAM.
- Mr. Bubbles FTW
As you can see, each of these games have their strengths, but... I liked the first one better. I thought the story was better, and the atmosphere absolutely cannot be matched. The second game has better gameplay, but I thought it was a lesser experience overall; however, it has better replayability. In the end they are both incredible games and are two of my favourite single-player shooters of all time.
So... Yeah. Stuff.
