Hey.

Went to school not really expecting altogether very much... but ended the day very happy :) Well, I've still got to make it through tryouts... but at the moment.... ;-)

PurplePrincess is absolutely amazing, I hope she knows that. She baked me a delicious cake of awesome for my birthday!!! :D I mean, I saw it coming due the non-subtlety of a certain starch, but it was still super amazing and it made my day great :) No one's ever done anything nice for my birthday... usually just a "happy birthday" after my informing them it is indeed my birthday... last year was nice, got a bunch of "happy birthday!"s without asking, but today was super nice. Even a certain annoying child managed to pull through with a nice card and a present. Good day so far :)

Just gotta hope the present from the softball leauge isn't being cut from the team.... wheeeeeeeeee....

Hey.

At DI right now... finishing my math essay... my friend's older sister came home from MIT for the week... she's helping me with my pre-calc homework :D And, I just had to swat a mosquito (I'm outside with my laptop :) )... wow, the weather has changed so much over a couple weeks :-/

And I just made the windows bar at the bottom and the bar at the top of the interwebz vanish... not sure how I did that... oops.

Soooooo excited for regionals tomorrow :D

So, my calculator died at the beginning of a difficult physics test, my power cable for my laptop broke when I needed to finish C++ homework, I tried another power cable (which was the same model, and being used on the same model laptop as mine) to no avail, then swapped batteries for half the day until I found a power cable that worked on my computer. I have no idea why my tablet has become so picky about power cables, but my power cable seems to not work in general.

Hopefully I get to go hiking tomorrow. I need to get off campus right now.

Hey.

Sooooooooooooo excited for today!!! Regionals for Destination Imagination!

Sooooooooooooo nervous, too. If we fail today... I mean... well... it's over. However, if we do really good... then omg yay. We HAVE to place 1st so we move on to States, we just HAVE TO! I'm so excited... it's so fun to see all of the skits.... then, closing ceremonies.... most nervewracking thing in the universe. They call up 3rd... if it's not you, then you continue to wait.... 2nd... if it's not you, then oh mai gawd you continue to wait... 1st... and... if it's you... explosion of joy. If it's not, absolute dejection.

But, all the same, I'm veeeeeeeeery excited for this :)

A rampaging dinosaur crashing through and destroying almost everything in its path, and a heartwarming montage where we all pitched in and put the forums back together. But other than that, nothing much.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!

We... placed... 1ST!!!! WE'RE GOING TO STATES!!! OH MY GOD!

And Tango's team... SHE PLACED FIRST TOO, SHE'S GOING TO STATES! And the team my friend and I are coaching... THEY PLACED FIRST THEY'RE GOING TO STATES! And the other team from the middle school IS GOING TO STATES AND SO IS THE TEAM MY FRIEND ON THE DI TEAM IS COACHING AS WELL AS ANOTHER TEAM COACHED BY ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE DI TEAM!!!!

And... on top of that... there's this award called the DaVinci award. Those are REALLY hard to get. Usually one is handed out per region, and, if they don't think any team was good enough for it, they won't even hand it out.

Welcome back Aura! We're most of the way through the KotF, and there have been some things going on but it's been about the same as always :-)

That's awesome, congratulations Saber! That's seriously impressive!

I played Anima (a roleplay game) with my roommate and 2 other friends for 10 hours straight last night. I didn't get to sleep until 7:30am, and I had to get up at noon for a study group! However, even though I didn't get much sleep it's been a pretty good day, after my study group I proofread my friend's essay and to show her appreciation for me always proofing her stuff she bought me dinner! ;-) Poor student + free meal = very happy!

Heso! Randomly went on Neopets today. I haven't been there since... last Altador Cup, which was actually a big disappointment and the site really sucks now. My Neopets were cool though. Found out I had a couple rare Paintbrushes saved from a while back - not anything I bought, I got them for free from some promotion they were doing - and donated them to the Money Tree. I really wish I could see the way people reacted when they saw a Purple Paint Brush and a Ghost Paint Brush at the same time. Also checked up on my profile and noticed a trophy I didn't remember. I apparently won the art contest. About... three years ago. And I never even noticed. So that's cool. Ah, it brings back memories...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.

Uhm... last night... I dreamed I went back on Neopets. Coincidence? :P

So... yeah... life's not too exiciting right now. Just counting down the days 'til April 3rd (states for DI). Softball today... they told me I've made a team, but they haven't decided who's on JV and who's on Varsity.... well, I'm thinkin' JV for me because they already have two catchers for Varsity.

But, yay! I'm not getting cut ;-)

Also... MCAS today (state tests of evil). Yesterday was the long comp... today's just the English comprehension section, whoo.
