((I'll send everyone through the portal later today, after I get some work done. In the meantime...
While Chris can take some popcorn for himself, so there's no need to edit that, the bag is too big to fit in a pocket. The light can just barely fit if you have really big pockets.
Richard's knife has all the usual pocket knife type of things including lots of blades, a scissors, awl, and a couple things that sorta look like screwdrivers. There's also quite a lot of devices that he can't readily identify.))

"And it's time to go!!!" Hostly called as a glowing orange portal appeared in the center of the stage. "Good luck!!!"
The team passed through the portal and emerged moment later. They appeared to be in a dark ally in some sort of town. It was so dark, that it was difficult to make out any details about their surroudnings. Looking around, they suddenly noticed that some of their team members seemed to be missing, though it was so dark that they could barely makes out the shapes of their companions, much less tell who was who.
((You've been split into three groups of four, each in different allys in different parts of the village. The groups are as follows:
1. Zanther, Sira, Mickey, D.G.
2. Capperoff, Takeru, Tod, Kako
3. Chris, Eclectric, Kaida, Richard
You won't be able to see much of anything in the ally Even if you have lights of some sort, everything will still be hidden in the shadows. You'll be able to indentify each other only by voice. If you try to leave the ally, please don'e say anything about what you see (either of the village of each other), but wait for me to post first.
Keep in mind that you have no idea of where you are. You don't know the name, the place, or anything about the map in the first post (which is for reference and so you know when you're leaving an area for a new one and need to wait for me to post before continuing.))

D.G. reatched into his pocket and pulled out his laser pointer pen and turned on its flashlight. "There, that's a little better I guess." He said as he moved the light slowly around the ally to get a better look at his surroundings.

Richard kept flicking through the pocketknife furiously, seeing if there was any light-giving substance. Running out of patience, he put the blade in his pocket, stepped forward, and almost collided with a wall. I've gotta be more careful, he thought.

Oh, how nice. Blinding darkness. Tod thought. He took out his cell phone and used its miniscule light to try and get an idea of where he was.
"Hey, if anyone else here has anything that gives of a little light, this would be the time to turn it on. Tod said out loud.
Unless, of course, there's someone else here other than us... Tod thought to himself. He "turned on" his x-ray vision to try and get a better look at his surroundings.

GROUP 1
D.G. flashlight didn't help much. Everything still appeared to be black and covered in shadows. However, he could tell that he was in an ally of some kind, complete with the occasional garbage can. The ally appeared to continue a long distance both to his left and right. There was a faint light far to the right, perhaps marking the end of the ally.
GROUP 2
Kako's eyes, while visible to the others in her group as large spots of white light, weren't bright enough to light up the surroundings. Capperroff's light helped a little. Oddly enough, in the darkness of the ally, the flashing light looked white, not red. Everything it illuminated was still shrouded in inky black, but his group could make out the basic features of their surroudnings. The appeared to be at the end of a dead end ally. A tall wall rose of behind them. In the other direction, the ally took a sharp curve after about ten feet, leaving them unable to see where it went.
Tod's X-Ray vision allowed him to see through the walls surroudning them. There appeared to be another alley through the wall behind them, it looked empty. The buildings on the right and left appeared to be houses, at least from the little bit of their insides that he could see. However, no matter what walls he looked through, everything still appeared black and shadowy. His vision didn't, unfortunately, help him see any better in the ally itself.

If Richard's knife had a light, it wasn't immediately obvious. And it was rather hard to examine the different things in the knife in the pitch blackness of the ally.
