ROM 3: Shadows of Souls

"Im not as weak as you think I am!" yelled shauni, she drew her dagger and drove it into Daku's leg
"Ahh! Why you little!" he yelled as she twisted her body in his arms
"How did you do that!!"

Suddenly shauni appered behind Daku, and in his arms
"Two...two of you!"
"Lets just say I have a split personality"
The shauni behind him pulled his arm away from shauni, letting the other slip out
The shauni that fell out of his arms turned into dust and relved Mirror, the card that Codo had given shauni a long time again
Daku yelled feasuly "A cheap trick!"
"I summoned her as I took of, then i stayed on Balance and had her attack, I new you would counter somehow"
She pushed Saku away from her, and drew her daggers again
"You and me daku....one on one"
Daku smiled evily, his lef not even bleeding, cured demonicaly
"Ha, fine....just one more bump in the road, but my offfer still stands, tell me where they are and I wont tear you lim from lim..."
She stood in her battle stance "bring it!"

[pokchu]

"SHADOW OBILTERATION." Daku launched his attack at Shauni, and she fell back, but Jeff caught her, and she flipped back up. Daku looked around, and saw goggles lying in the dirt.

"...That's it." Daku swooped down to pick them up, and he sniffed them. He realized they belonged to Neo, and he then had his lead.

"I have no more need to play with the likes of you. FAREWELL." And he vanished.

"a wizard did it!" yelled shauni

She stood up and brushed herself down
"Thanks for catching me, wow, he's one hell of a fighter"

"I'm sure you'll get a chance sooner or later. Hellion isn't likely to leave us alone for long."

Two eyes emerged from the darkness, bight glowing eyes

<span style='color:blue'>"Damn. It'll take forever to get the to castle if we have to walk. Why did there have to be a storm now?" *The group have moved back into the dark world a while back but the storm had continued to follow them.*</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"Unfortunately, it will. If we walk we need to go all the way over those mountains." *Jeff pointed to a mountain range barely visible in the distance.*</span>

Shauni was extremly sad "i'm so useless..." she whispered hunder her breath, no one but Josiah hearing her, he looked at her with a glace, he felt the same way at the present, but he didnt mention it to her...

They contuied to walk in the down pour....

"Over there..." *Everyone sensed it at the same time and turned to face a small clump of trees.*

<span style='color:purple'>"Well, might as well find out what it is." *Jeff picked up a fist sized rock and threw it into the trees. There was a loud thunk and then...*</span>

There was a loud roar from behind the trees, a huge monster appered, it was a 6 foot pengin with black spikes all down its arms and on its head

It glared blankly at them, rubbing it head

"Who makes up these things!"

The pengine roared again and charged at them

<span style='color:green'>"I guess Sutra was a bit lacking in the imagination department."</span>

"Don't say bad things about Sutra!"

Fireball Charge!" *Black Flare smashed into the penguin's chest, knocking it back, but the bird didn't slow down for long.* "Um, try Inferno Wall!" *Josiah yelled out another command.* "Um, any time you guys feel like joining in...</span>

Within half an hour of solid flight they had emerged at the base of the palace, however, a donting task now faced them. What only could be described as a dark grown on the palace that glew in the darkness of the night. A dark carma erradiating from it

"<span style='color:purple'>This is bad....this must be the focus of all the darkness in this regien..."</span>
"How are we supposed to get in? That weird....plant is covering the whole palace...its all blocked up!"
Josiah drew a monster card "<span style='color:blue'>Then we blast our way in</span>"

After a few moments of attacks they managed to blow a hole threw th growth and quickly enetered, only for the growth to grow back, ceiling them in

<span style='color:blue'>"A great....."</span>
"What is this stuff? Its almost as if it were alive!"
Shauni began to poke it with her staff
<span style='color:blue'>"Stop that..."</span>
"Look, its squishy" she said jus as the staff peaced the growth, which then produced green slime
"EWWW!"
Moments later shauni staff started to disolve
She quickly threw it away, the staff quickly disappered into a bubble of metal, the acid then proceded to melt threw the floor

Everyone looked in horrifed silence at the buberling whole

<span style='color:green'>"Like how are we supposed to avoid it! Its everywhere!"</span>
