Hey.

Good to hear you had a good time, NG :)

Hell week. Today's rehersal went amazingly well considering everything that went wrong! For starters... Captain von Trapp (male lead, for all who don't know) has swine flu. He looked sick yesterday and was coughing all the time... but... swine flu. And here's the worst part--NO UNDERSTUDY! We had a woman (who I assume is on the staff, or something) up there with a script reading his lines. We didn't even have a dude. There are two boys that might just have their lives made, though. They don't have any lines, so if they learn ALL of von Trapp's and he doesn't get any better... he could take over. Also, the lead nun (Mother what's her face, never can remember) felt like she was going to faint after the first nun chant, so she had another nun read her lines and sing Maria (how DO you solve a problem like Maria, anywho?). It was funny, 'cos both replacement von Trapp and Mother-person had no idea what the choreography was.

On top of both of these, during the the concert Gretel (youngest girl) lost her voice, and when Max is supposed to go out to announce the finalists, he got a bloody nose. Loooovely. Our tuba also is sick, probably with swine. 1st trumpet's trumpet broke during one of the songs, so I took over, but he fixed it. It was... rather crazy.

However, considering all of this and a few other errors, it did go quite well. Maria and repalcement von Trapp had a hard time keeping a straight face during Something Good... 'specially since the woman had to sing von Trapp's lines an octave up.
May the Triforce be with you.

Hi! Another late night and another morning of sleeping late. Ugh... I need to just get up when my alarm goes off. Thing is, since I don't have anything going on most mornings (just hanging around and getting stuff done), I know that I technically don't have to get up, which is a problem when I'm half-asleep anyway... My plans for the day include some very boring reading assignments, working on my Japanese resume, a thesis class, and pizza (which is pretty much certain to be the highlite of the day).

NG, I might already have a trade worked out with someone else. But, if that falls through, I'll let you know.

Well, what I would do is rig something so the alarm clock is on the other side of the room, then get a mic, stereo, and speakers, put the mic by the alarm clock, speakers by your bed, then when it goes off, you'd have to get out of bed to turn off the alarm, and by the time you're over there, you're up :D lol, I have something like that where it turns my lights on... >.> lol but now I can sleep with them on so I need to change again xD

and,
Aww, ok, well, either way, through your 'unknown source', me or Neo, I hope you get your shaymin.
But, just so I can say I posted it, here's my Pearl FC:
Name: *will be edited in soon*
FC: *will be edited in soon*

**Editx2: Well, my internet connection is a crappy one >.> I can browse online, FB, DA (kinda), even the forums! but it will NOT let me get my FC!!! Ugh! I hate this, J., if you still need a shaymin by the 19th or 20th (I think that's when we'll get home...) I can still get mine to you, if not, oh well.....**

That happens to me all the time, Atma. I think there's a grand total of...four or five comments posted by people who aren't my friends in real life. One of those comments was asking me if I took my RO character names from Bionicle (answer was yes). Another was to inform me that I posted my deviation in the wrong category. Yeah. Not much publicity there. Although I think that's a good thing, since it still kinda bothers me knowing my art's out where anyone can see it.
Ohayou. I find it sad that the only way to improve my attendance to morning classes is to not go to bed the night before.

Hi! Finally managed to get to sleep on time for a change. Anyway, I plan to spend most of the day working on the last level in my LittleBigPlanet christmas trilogy. And, well, that's about it. But hey, there's only a week till Thanksgiving, and that should be a lot of fun.

Some of my Pop-Pop's WWII medals came in the mail today. When they're done piecing them together, my mom and Randy are gonna put them in Pop-pop's flag case.

I still miss that old codger.

Hey.

Well, opening night was tonight. It went well... except for the fact that there was this one kid who had mental issues in the audience. He kept randomly moaning, and doing so very loudly. It was distracting and disruptive. They really should have kicked him out, even though I'd feel bad, it's just rude to have him there. He's a distraction to not only the actors, but the audience as well. The audience payed money to enjoy this play, and he was impacting their viewing pleasure. If it was just some random kid being loud and obnoxious, of course they'd throw him out. It was... very frusturating.

Other than that, though, the play went smoothly. I didn't know Maria and von Trapp were gonna kiss before they sing Something Good (as well as near the end)... kinda surprised me, since they never did it during dress rehersal while Rolf and Lisel had their kiss during dress rehersal.

The Sound of Music is a loooong play, though... started at 7:30, and, with intermission, ended at 10:30. And now I have to finish my homework... *sigh*

Well I just noticed today that that movie Trick 'r Treat that was supposed to be put in theatres in '07 and got bumped back to '09 went right to DVD, which explains why I had forgotten about it. I just watched it and while it was an interesting movie (and sadistically comical at times), I can see why it went right to DVD. Shame too, two of the actors from that show Dead Like Me were in it which I was pretty happy about - if you haven't seen that show, it's worth a watch if you can find it.

Organic chem midterm tomorrow afternoon, that should be fun.

My dad's friend let us borrow Trick r treat a few weeks ago when it was first released. It was a really good movie, if any of you gets a chance to see it you should. It even includes the animated short "Seasons greetings" which is what inspired the movie. What made it even better for me was that it takes place in Ohio (I live in Ohio).

Ugh, I shouldn't be posting this late at night (er, morning I guess) but after seeing that someone else had seen that movie I just had to post a reply.
