Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Ohai, I'm back! Wow, 6 pages in this thread and a couple new members - hi to all new members by the way! Well my old hometown was fun, got to see most of my friends (not Celebifly unfortunately
) and took a ton of pics! But now I have jet lag and I'm very tired, more later.

Silver, that conversational troping is what got me in trouble in the first place.Silver wrote:Heso! Gar, please explain to me... how you can lose a friend through TV Tropes. Sure, I'm a Conversational Troper, but it has yet to cost me a friendship. Geez, it's started to rub off on a lot of my friends, even. And sure, I'll get stuck in an Archive Binge, maybe even while talking to Colly, but I can usually find some amusing trope that relates to Tales in the process and we'll both get a laugh out of it.

Hi! Today I'm either going to a cave or going to see Ponyo. And, of course, I have Dissidia. It should be an awesome day.

Honestly, I'm very tempted to save up for a PSP just for Dissidia. And, honestly, the only reason I would get Dissidia is for Kefka. Maybe Zidane.
Aloha! Today's a repeat performance of Tuesday for me, so once again I'll be gone all day.
The good news is that I get my first paycheck tomorrow, and it's going to be artificially swollen from all my hours of training. Sweet.

Dissidia is so good! I was expecting to play Squall as my main (his game was my favourite, apparently plot holes and insanely confusing storylines are good times), but so far it's looking like that might be Firion. Guess this means I have to actually play Final Fantasy II to see what his story is!

Hi! I saw Ponyo. It was pretty good, even if the adults took things a bit too instride.
Stevenson, Dissidia is pretty cool but there's a lot of other good PSP games as well. Like Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions and the Metal Gear games, among others. Nab, assuming you read Firion's little blurb in the manual or the museum, you pretty much know his story (well, a lot of it anyway). The Final Fantasy games didn't start getting really complex plots until FFIV. Despite being on vacation, I haven't had a huge amount of time to play (other things that need to be done) so I've only played as Cloud, Warrior of Light (in the prologue), Cecil, and Tidus so far. Out of them, Tidus is my favorite (I like fast characters). Squall is my favorite FF hero though, so I'm looking forward to trying him out. But his story mode is a 3 star difficuly so I'll be doing Firion's first.

College is not going as planned. What with the flu or something flu-like on the first day of classes, getting bad directions to a building that isn't on the map or labeled with it's name outside, barely passing the Credit-by-Exam for Linear Algebra, not being able to get a hold of my academic adviser or the head of the mathematics department, not being to force add into Vector Geometry, finding that dry erase markers are only sold at the VT general store with whiteboards which I already have, not being able to access the online Blackboard to get assignments (until today), and wishing that the first week of classes would finally be over.
But on the plus side, one of the directors whom I knew from STEP gave me an unopened box full of wavy Lays potato chips!
Alright, another episode of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, then homework.

Hi.
Another forum linked me to this thing, so I figured that I'd pass it on here. It's called Johari and Nohari. They both share the same concept, you pick six attributes that you think you possess, and than you give the link to other people, and they can pick attributes that they think you possess. Than it's compared to what the creator thinks of themselves and what each voter compared to themselves. However, both features contain one key difference: Johari contains many positive attributes, while Nohari consists of negative attributes. It's pretty cool, and it can tell you a lot about what people think about you.
These are mine, if you want to check it out:

You'll see unfamiliar names, those are from another forum.

Hey!
Haven't gotten to post the past couple days. On Wed, didn't get the chance to post before band camp, and that night we slept over at the school (an interesting experience, I must say). All the guys in the band room, all the girls in the chorus room. Lights out was at 12:30, but they didn't care if you continued talking amongst yourselves for longer. Stayed up 'til 1:30-ish chatting with my friends. Hehe. We practiced the next day for a few hours (so far, I've got the first two songs down pretty well, the second song I sitll need to work on the musical part, but I know the drill), then we all loaded up on a bus and went to the beach. That was a lot of fun.
Well.... band camp is over, now. Sad... but, glad not to be drilling forever. Gonna go... eat food... woke up late... forgot breakfast.

Hi! On Tuesday I went to the SuperEx, which is a local fair that comes to the city's football stadium parking lot at the end of every summer. They have lots of rides and ice cream and mini-donuts and it is a family tradition to go there every Summer, because my Dad lives three blocks away from said football stadium. T'was lots of fun.

Well, I got to go get some lunch then cook Danish food for tonight. I'll be back on sometime tonight after the big Danish dinner.

Hi everybody! Survived my first week of school. ^^
Since I'm in a good mood can everybody tell me how it's going?

It's not going bad. Looking for a good Night Angel RP. Very, very inclined to create one, in fact.

Except I know where everything is and I've been acclimated through STEP, I just have terrible luck. I finally got a hold of them by E-mail, and the only dry erase markers not sold out are now the colored ones. I'd have the most colorful dry erase board in the engineering hallway! It'd be fabulous!Josiah wrote:Hi! Ah, the joys of starting college.PoikSpirit wrote:College is not going as planned.
