Re: Games I've Played Recently
Well I finished the original Spyro game and moved onto Spyro Dawn of the Dragon, the most recent game.
Yeah i know, weird way of playing games. I normally play the first one and go through chronologically with games like this. But I have two reasons; 1 Dawn of the Dragon is part of a trilogy with the three latest games. and 2, I saw the two player optioned and conned fiancee into playing it with me.
So yes, i plan to get the other two games (when I have money) and playing them.
But two things about it amazes me.
First the graphics. Particularly when compared to the first game, are amazing, they are really great. Well at least when compared to other games I've played.
And Second, There Female Dragons! And You can play as one! It's gonna take awhile for me to get over this because in the first game they were all male. Every dragon you rescued was male. I though they might have changed it but I wasn't sure and the whole time I was just looking at the case asking myself if she was a female. And She is!...
So going to take awhile to get over this fact...

Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell

Cynder was an antagonist in the second Spyro game, and she has appeared in every Spyro game since.Kaida wrote: There Female Dragons! And You can play as one! Ugh... I did that too and it took around an hour. Not sure why it takes so long. I mean, I could copy 500MB to a memory stick in a few minutes and an install shouldn't take that much longer...NabMaster wrote:Mine's doing the Data Load thing now, I'll be playing it shortly. But man this load time is taking forever...I chose to load the max which may have been a bit much.

Kaida, the first three Spyro games were utterly and completely wonderful. Insomniac did a great job, but after that, they really went downhill.

Yeah I've been told that, I plan on tracking down the other first 2/3 games. Might take awhile, since I have no money and all.luquos wrote:Kaida, the first three Spyro games were utterly and completely wonderful. Insomniac did a great job, but after that, they really went downhill.
I Still like it though. Even if it might not be as good as the first three.

Seriously. They're so much better than the new games.
Oh, and don't forget to think like an insomniac. They hide stuff behind EVERYTHING. Especially in the third game.

I plan on quitting Pokemon soon, any games for reccomendation?

A good RPG or FPS game. Don't reccommend Call of Duty or Halo, please. I wonder if GTA is any good.luquos wrote:What're you looking for?

RPG or FPS? Why not combine the two.
You have a few choices, if so, and two of the best are Mass Effect and Fallout 3.

If you're looking for a good handheld RPG, I'd suggest Golden Sun or Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. As for Shooters, I would definately recommend Bioshock (which also has some RPG elements), The Orange Box or Left 4 Dead; all of which are much better than Halo. *Valve fanboy'd*

Re: Games I've Played Recently
Colly just got Dissidia so we spent the whole day playing that. She's gone through Cloud, Cecil, Tidus, Firion, and Squall's story modes. Based on what I've seen it's a pretty interesting system, wish I didn't suck at it so much. I am determined to main as Onion Knight! ...But I've only managed to win using him once, just playing against CPU opponents...
Having a girlfriend who's better than you at video games is awesome and all, but not good for self esteem.
A-anyway, I'll be buying it myself soon, knowing full well that the story kind of sucks. I really don't know what went wrong on that front... Square's usually so good about their stories, and with a cast of characters like that you'd figure they couldn't go wrong, right? Wrong. Ugh. So it's like this...
LIGHT DARK LIGHT DARK PUPPET PUPPET PUPPET WHY DO I FIGHT? FRIENDSHIP!
It hurts... gameplay's fun though. I just need to... get good at it. Soon. I lose to Colly too much...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
